She rolled her eyes, “it’s not hard, really. it’s like talking, but with more eye contact and smiles, occasional touching and innuendos.”  She raised her eyebrow, and looked at him in the eyes, reaching over to give his bicep a squeeze. “You just have to make your interest known.” She smiled and looked down, “see easy. You try.”

“Well...yeah, it sounds easy, but I don’t think it is as simple. I...yes, you’re good.” He giggled and covered his face with his hands. “I can’t do it, I’m gonna start laughing.”

Calypso was in her backyard, practicing her magic. Her brother had gotten her a new spell book so she was excited see what she could. Little did she know about the new witch boy, who had moved next yesterday, watching her.

The first time Ludwig saw that house, he felt something he couldn’t explain. He couldn’t tell how, but there was a strong force close to them. The next day, when he was on the backyard moving stuff, he knew the reason. Ludwig looked over the fence of his backyard and saw a beautiful girl practising magic. It was strange to him to see someone being so open about magic stuff, but he kept watching.

Everything around her was floating. She statues mumbling something, cause the items to turn to ice. She was almost done until she felt a pair of eyes on her. Calypso opened her eyes and looked over, seeing the boy. She smiled at him.

He didn’t expect her to be nice because he was being kind of a stalker, but when she smiled, Ludwig felt relieved. “Hey!” he said, as he jumped the fence. “You’re so good.”

She put everything down and got up from the ground. “Thanks. I’ve been doing magic since I was ten. Welcome to Beacon Hills. I’m Calypso.”.

“That’s so cool.” He nodded. “Thank you and nice to meet you, Calypso. I’m Ludwig.” He giggled. “And I think I’m your new neighbor.”

“Yeah, I think so.” He smiled. She seemed like a really nice person. “So..umm we’ll be seeing each other a lot, probably.”

Calypso nodded. “Do you go to Beacon Hills High by any chance?”.

Luddie nodded, slowly. “Yeah, senior year. I started a couple weeks ago.” He smiled to the girl. “How about you?”

"Same. Maybe we have some classes together.".

“That would be great.” He smiled. “And maybe you can help me, I don’t know, are you good with science? Or math?”

“That’s cool. So umm…maybe if you ever have time, we could study together.” Luddie shrugged. “I mean, if that’s ok. I umm…it’d be great if you help me with science. I’m a mess, to be honest.” He giggled.
