im bad to argue with because i have jesters blood if you misintepret me i'll just go along with it. when i was a teenager i was trying to explain the concept of the heterosexual default to someone and they were like "so you think everyone should become bisexual?" and i was like. what the hell sure. lets have legally enforced bisexuality. i'll die on a hill for the bit dont fuck with me.

As someone with the bad habit of really getting into the act of arguing for fun‘s sake to the point I often argue for points I don’t even agree with, simply because the other person said something contrary, I get this on a spiritual level.

Yo shout out to all those sci-fi artists cus this shit difficult. The small description of the planet was so jarring it immediately stuck inside my brain and i had to doodle about it. not sure which version i like better, space or the window.

I think one of the funniest abortion stances I've heard was from my parents neighbor. He's a like, hard-core libertarian viking larper guy who is very tall and very fat and very bald.

He believes a fetus is human with a soul, but also its "basically attacking the woman's body" so if she wants to get rid of it, that's "basically self-defense". He compared it to shooting a home invader. So he supports abortion not as healthcare, but as killing a baby in self-defense

the problem with movie remakes is that they always remake something that was already good, meaning at worst you ruin it and at best your remake is largely redundant. to make a truly good remake you need to start with source material that is absolute dogwater. ignore the pull of nostalgia. redeem the sins of moviemaking past.

Sooo Tumblr has decided that all I should be interested in is Project Hail Mary, which is fair I guess (I loved both the book and movie). But there’s one statement I see going around a lot that goes something like “Yeah Ryland saw Rocky talk about his partner and immediately decided to give both of them male names. Isn’t it funny how he makes them gay no questions asked.”

But I think the funnier point is that Rocky‘s partner shares the same name with this one woman a famous boxer is absolutely dedicated to.

And now all I can think about is the ending scene of Rocky (the movie) where Rocky is coming out of the ring and desperately shouting for Adrian, except reenact it with funky space aliens returning from a decade long mission.
