I was watching Star Wars: Rebels with my local Star Wars nerd (fireworks supervisor) and asked him if any Star Wars media shows actual official Jedi training, and he was like aside from a few scenes with the kids in the prequels not really.

So my headcanon is that the Jedi had rigorous and well documented and effective training that was used by everyone except Yoda, and the people Yoda trained are just Like That. And then Yoda lived like 900 years so a significant amount of the Jedi population by Revenge of the Sith were either trained directly by him or influenced by him and that’s why Luke and the Rebels guy are both like uh go do a headstand while I shoot at you, no you don’t need to learn footwork or how to use a sword it’s fine you just gotta vibe with it

Pride month headcanons, Rebels edition!

Kanan: bisexual but heteroromantic.

Hera: bisexual. Attracted to a lot of different species.

Zeb: pansexual. Lasat genders work differently from human’s, and being pan is the standard. Gender is something that is decided on later on, and he decided on fully male and as such developed like that. Unusual for a Lasat, he’s attracted to aliens (non-Lasats), brought on in part by having no other option after the Purge of Lasan (and by landing on Bahryn with a hot Imperial).

Chopper: agender, going by he/him. Technically aroace, though there’s something queerplatonic going on between him and AP-5.

Sabine: non-binary she/her, lesbian. She’s experimented with men and is not fully repulsed by it, but she has a strong preference for women. She generally only gets attracted to near-human species.

Ezra: aroace, demiboy.

Kallus: gay, so gay, and demisexual. This overrides any species barrier, though he’s only really been attracted to so few people that it’s hard to pinpoint a label.
