It feels as if

My pink crystal soul—

Dripping diamonds and reflecting sun (as I see it now—It changes just as yours)

And your blue heart—

Wrapped in the water of Poseidon’s tidepools

Are now blended immaculately,

Transparently flowing through,

Rising in a tandem spiral and reaching across

As a DNA helix creates, roots, and replenishes our Being.

And radiating—I see it radiate

The same as the energy pulsing through ivy

Freely shared nutrients of earth and sky

Allows Ivy to extend itself to further being,

Further knowledge of the next step into space

Expanding its home

Reaching below

Security and light.

My ocean heart, my light and root:

Let us grow as the ladder of life;

In tandem, and reaching for you beside me.
