If it's a joke, he'll treat it as such

He thinks it's cringey, tacky, trashy, whatever

But even if you genuinely mean it, he'll say no

The wedding would be a lavish thing, a display for his absolute obsession love for you

And Pinkie Pie isn't a part of the vision though

If you get upset or pouty on him after the ceremony

Expect him to make it up to you in a more corporeal manner

Leander

Leander is a bit of a tricky one if I'm honest.

I'm not sure if we've come to a conclusion as a fanbase yet, but I'm not sure whats scarier, the possibility of Leander being completely infatuated with mc immediately after meeting them to the point of obsession (obsession 2026 reference? sorry guys I love that movie) or the fact that he might not care about mc at all and wants to use them for their curse.

I think the latter is more likely, but I haven't looked into his route as much as I've looked into Vere and Ais's routes.

Either way, he's interested by you. Most likely because of his saviour complex.

You puzzle him.

At first, I don't think he sees you as a person he could fall for. He sees someone who's hurting and needs help. Which makes you the perfect candidate to join the Adders.

That's familiar territory for him. Leander is used to manipulating saving "broken" people who are in need of a family, money, a magical favour or lets be honest, an "intimate" favour cause he's freaked out like that.

But then you start making choices he doesn't expect. You don't always take his advice, sometimes question him or pull away from his advances and every once in a while, you even seem suspicious of him.

When it comes to romantic partners, he likes the girl next door type, no matter what gender.

He wants someone approachable, sweet, attractive and preferably a little shy (its easier to "convince" shy/introverted people in his opinion).

So naturally when you question him, he develops a morbid curiosity towards you. You aren't really what he would look for in a person, but you're still catching his attention.

This is where he really starts to pay attention to you. He wants to understand what makes you tick. What you want. What you're afraid of. What would make you smile. He tells himself it's because he wants to help you better and he's convinced that he can be your remedy.

I think Leander tries to convince himself that he is a good person. If he doesn't, he tries to justify his actions in his head anyway. Any time he lies to you and you believe him, he's most likely convinced by himself too (for the sake of his sanity, but I don't think its helping)

He doesn't manipulate people! He just makes them feel safe through a long series of conversations (and strenuous nights), whats so bad about that?

Even if he doesn't have the tools to lift your curse, he can always make you feel comfortable, and keep you happy right....?

He'll look for you in every room he walks into. Find excuses to check in on you, even when you don't really need it. (aka you wake up to him in your room, wtf man?)

If someone asked him whether he was becoming attached, he'd laugh it off.

"I'm just making sure they're alright!"

The scary thing about Leander is that you never know where genuine concern ends and something far more dangerous begins.

And I'm not even sure he knows the difference anymore.

Mc is probably one of the few people who can make him question whether he actually wants to save people, or whether he needs people to be broken so he can feel needed.

And that might be what draws him in the most. Someone who doesn't just accept his help, but challenges him to become something better than the person he keeps convincing himself he already is.

Kuras

Kuras is probably one of the few people who doesn't immediately assume MC is lying.

Not because he trusts you completely, but because he has lived long enough to understand that the impossible does exist.

However, that does not mean his first interest is you.

At first, Kuras is much more fascinated by your curse than by mc as a person.

From a medical perspective, your condition is unlike anything he has encountered before. A curse that affects the body in such a profound way is something he cannot simply ignore.

He wants to understand it. How it works. Why it exists. What it is doing to you. Whether there is anything he can do to lessen its effects.

It isn't curiosity in the same way Vere has. Kuras isn't looking for a way to use your curse for his own benefit. He sees it as a problem that needs to be studied because it is hurting someone. you are a mystery before you are a person.

Even with my little medical knowledge, I know that getting a limb cut off would put your body into shock. And we aren't sure how long it took for mc to get to Kuras's hospital. The fact that you're still standing after everything you've endured tells him there is more to you than he first assumed.

But as time passes, Kuras starts realizing that the curse is not the most interesting thing about you.

He notices that you're afraid, but you refuse to let fear control you. He notices that you're exhausted, but you still find ways to help others. He notices that you carry pain quietly because you don't want to become a burden.

And most of all he notices your gentle heart.

Kuras understands suffering. He has spent countless years treating wounds, saving lives, and watching people endure things they never should have experienced.

Because of that, he recognizes your pain more easily than most.

You could have chosen to be bitter, violent or even plain evil. But you chose not too. Thats a big accomplishment for someone who's gone through so much

He begins to care about the person experiencing the curse, not just the curse itself.

What surprises him is when mc starts caring about him in return.

Kuras is used to being the one who heals others. He is used to carrying responsibility, making decisions, and offering comfort.

He isn't used to someone looking at him and asking if he is okay.

Your gentleness is refreshing, but its confusing.

Not because he dislikes it, but because he doesn't understand why someone who is suffering would still choose to care about him.

He would admire your resilience, but he would also worry about it.

Not because he thinks you're weak, but because he knows the difference between strength and simply enduring too much.

He would want you to survive, but more importantly, he would want you to live.

Kuras would never ask you to erase the parts of yourself that helped you survive. He would never want to take away your independence.

Instead, he would want you to understand that you don't have to carry everything alone.

His feelings would develop quietly.

There wouldn't be one single moment where he realizes he cares. It would happen through small things.

The way he remembers your habits. The way he checks your injuries even after you insist you're fine. The way his calm expression changes whenever you're in danger.

He would tell himself it's because he is your doctor and that understanding your curse is his responsibility.

But eventually, even Kuras would have to admit that his concern is no longer about your condition. Somewhere along the way, mc stopped being the fascinating curse he wanted to understand.

For someone who has spent so long dedicating his life to saving others, realizing that he wants someone to stay with him might be the most unexpected discovery of all.

Mhin

Mhin is very suspicious of MC. But they'll never leave a Soulless alive, so... the only option is to save you.

They aren't particularly curious about your curse whatsoever. They're interested in it, but they don't want to know every little detail. They already have enough to deal with, alright?

We know Mhin isn't Eridian, so they aren't nearly as nosy as the others. In their experience, looking into other people's lives usually brings trouble... or a paycheck. It depends on the situation.

They're trying to figure out what your deal is. Not so much what your curse is, but more like, "What's wrong with them?"

Are you actually the person you seem to be? Are you hiding something? Are you going to become another problem they have to deal with?

I think Mhin expects you to be weaker than you are. Not because they underestimate you, but because you seem somewhat naïve to them.

You're both new to Eridia, but Mhin is much less trusting than MC is.

They expect you to be obedient, meek, and afraid.

Well... of course you're afraid. But you aren't stupid. You can survive on your own.

As much as Mhin hates Vere, one thing they have in common is that they both admire MC's will to survive.

Mhin understands survival. They understand doing whatever it takes to make it through another day, so seeing someone who's hurting but still chooses to move forward is something they can't ignore.

Especially once you start showing them kindness.

I don't think Mhin knows what to do with someone who cares about them without expecting anything in return.

Mhin also admires your ambition and your ability to think quickly on your feet.

More than anything, your kindness catches them completely off guard.

I think their interest, whether romantic or platonic, would develop much faster than they'd like, and entirely against their will.

They'd tell themselves they're only keeping an eye on you because someone has to. That they're only helping because it's the right thing to do. That they're only worried because your situation is dangerous.

But then they start noticing things that have nothing to do with your curse. They notice when you're tired, when you're forcing yourself to smile, when something's bothering you before you even say anything.

Eventually, they have to admit that their reason for sticking around isn't just "responsibility" anymore.

Mhin isn't afraid of caring about you. They're afraid of what happens if they let themselves care... and lose you.

Once Mhin chooses someone, I don't think they do it halfway. They might act annoyed. They might push you away when things get too close. (Or kiss you. If you know, you know.)

But deep down, you've become someone they can't bear to imagine losing.

And somehow... that scares them more than your curse ever could.

Vere

Vere is also a bit of a tricky one when it comes to first impressions.

He is absolutely convinced that MC is lying.

Is your "curse" truly real? Or is it just a way to disguise what you really are? In fact... what are you? If it really is just a curse, why is it so impossible to find a way to get rid of it? It must be part of you.

Whatever you are, you're terrified, exhausted, and completely out of your depth.

How amusing.

He finds you entertaining almost immediately. He's not fond of you in any way, but at least you're interesting.

Vere has been living in Eridia since before MC was even born, so it's refreshing to meet someone who doesn't know the "rules" yet. You're easy to rile up, and he enjoys every second of it.

In the beginning, Vere sees you as someone to toy with.

Most people either try to impress him or manipulate him because they're afraid for their lives. You're mostly just confused... and annoyed.

He'll never admit it, but it's somewhat refreshing to meet someone like you.

Unlike most of the others, Vere doesn't really care about you as a person, not at first. That only starts to change once you make it abundantly clear that you're willing to do whatever it takes to survive.

Even Kuras, who was more interested in your curse than in you, still wanted to save your life.

Vere, on the other hand, isn't interested in fixing your so-called "curse" whatsoever. As far as he's concerned, it's simply a means to an end. He needs someone with the power to help him escape the shackles of the Senobium.

He doesn't believe you're as naïve as you seem, so he comes to the conclusion that teasing you will reveal the truth.

Over the years, Vere has discovered that teasing is an incredibly effective lie detector.

If you're pretending to be brave, eventually you'll hesitate when he threatens your life. If you're pretending to be human... he'll figure that out too.

What catches him off guard more than anything is your determination to survive. He almost admires it.

Vere doesn't trust people who accept him too easily, so you earn a few brownie points every time you sass him back instead of shrinking away.

Eventually, he comes to the unfortunate realization that he might have a higher opinion of you than he'd like.

How disgusting.

Caring means vulnerability, and vulnerability means giving fate something else to take away.

Vere has lost enough to know how quickly beautiful things disappear.

So instead of admitting he's grown attached, he doubles down on the flirting, the jokes, and that effortless smile.

If he never says anything serious... then his feelings won't be serious either.

They'll go away eventually.

He doesn't need... a companion.

Spoiler alert: It doesn't work.

Ais

Ais doesn't think MC is weak. If anything, he assumes they've survived this long because they're tougher than they look. Nobody carries a curse like that without learning how to endure.

Unlike some of the others, Ais is surprisingly straightforward. He isn't interested in picking apart every lie or interrogating MC's past. If they want to tell him something, they will. If they don't, he'll wait.

He doesn't really care about your curse. He's part of a group mind, so a little chaos won't surprise him. What catches his attention isn't the curse itself, it's how you keep moving despite it. Ais respects hustlers above almost anything else.

He understands what it's like to carry something dangerous inside yourself. He's beginning to realize he may not be as in control of the others as he'd like to believe. Because of that, he recognizes a familiar exhaustion in you.

He wants to protect your autonomy. You're so full of life and incredibly irritating. You should stay that way, little sparrow. Be free. Keep the struggles that you have; there's no reason to drink from the Spring if we aren't even sure it will cure you.

He never expects perfection from you. He expects honesty when it matters, and the strength to keep getting back up after things go wrong.

Ais likes people who push back. If MC argues with him, challenges him, or refuses to blindly obey, he enjoys it more than he'd ever admit. Someone with a spine is far more interesting than someone who simply agrees with everything he says.

He isn't very good with words. Small talk isn't his strength, and he rarely says exactly what he's feeling. When he does, it's very jarring.

At first, he treats MC almost like another one of the creatures he's taken in, someone who needs a safe place to recover, even if they don't realize it yet. Considering how affectionate he is with his pet Soulless, it's one of the most natural ways he knows how to care.

What surprises him is how quickly MC becomes someone he actually wants around. He enjoys their company even when nothing exciting is happening. Ais knows he's lonely, but... why you, of all people?

He starts looking for you without thinking. If you disappear for too long, he notices immediately.

Ais has a habit of pretending everything is fine, even when it isn't. He'd rather throw himself into a fight than talk about what's bothering him. MC slowly becomes one of the few people who can tell when he's putting on that calm, confident front.

Your generosity affects him because it doesn't come with conditions. You don't care that he's intimidating or violent. You simply treat him like a person.

Once he starts caring about you, it becomes incredibly obvious in hindsight. He becomes more protective, more patient, and far more willing to compromise than he is with almost anyone else.

He'd never describe himself as romantic. If anything, he'd insist he's just making sure you won't get yourself killed.

The truth is that, somewhere along the way, protecting you became personal.

Ais falls in love through actions rather than words. Every quiet gesture, every instinct to stand beside you, every time he chooses your safety over his own says what he'll struggle to admit out loud: you've become someone he wants to come home to.

Elyon

We don't know much about him, so I'm gonna try my best here

Elyon probably knows how to read people frighteningly well. As the wealthy owner of Eridia's most famous brothel, he's likely surrounded by lies, performances, and carefully crafted personas every single day.

I don't think he'd care about MC's curse at first. He's searching for "the one thing money can't buy," so someone with a dangerous affliction probably isn't the most unusual person he's has met.

But it would be good for the adrenaline junkies, and you aren't bad looking. Maybe you would be good for business...

Instead, I think he'd be fascinated by how genuine MC is.

He'd expect them to want something from him. Everyone usually does.

Every conversation would feel like a negotiation at first. He'd assume every act outside of some sort of business has a price attached.

You would slowly prove him wrong simply by continuing to care without asking for favors, influence, or protection.

I imagine Elyon as someone who's always in control of a room. He's elegant, composed, and impossible to read. Very few people ever surprise him.

Rather than becoming openly protective, I think he'd quietly remove obstacles from MC's path before they ever realize they were there.

If someone is out to get you? Don't play with Elyon. He'll have their head in a matter of hours. His anger is not something you want to experience.

He'd never admit how much he enjoys mc's company. Instead, he'd insist he's simply investing in someone interesting.

If his official description is any indication, I think his story will revolve around discovering something genuine in a world where almost everything can be bought or performed. Your sincerity would probably be what slowly breaks through his carefully maintained composure.

Sen

Once again, we don't know much about her so i'll try my best.

Sen probably wouldn't pity mc. She's someone who's lived far longer than she ever wanted to, so another person carrying a curse wouldn't earn her sympathy by default.

I imagine she'd be blunt about it. If you're cursed, then you're cursed. Complaining won't change anything, so she'd expect you to keep moving.

She'd respect determination more than optimism. If you continue fighting despite impossible odds, I think that would slowly earn her respect.

At first, she'd probably assume you're is naïve (like almost everyone else). Not because they're weak, but because they still believe people are worth trusting.

I think she'd constantly test MC's resolve, not out of cruelty, but because she wants to know if they'll break the moment things become difficult.

Revenge has been implied to be one of her driving motivations. Because of that, she might initially see mc as either an obstacle or someone useful enough to keep around.

If you were nice to her, that would would frustrate her more than impress her. Someone who's spent so long chasing revenge probably wouldn't know how to respond to compassion that isn't earned.

I could see her pushing mc away whenever you get too close. Not because she dislikes you, but because she's convinced everyone around her eventually suffers.

Over time, you would become one of the few people capable of making her question whether dying is truly what she wants, or whether she's simply forgotten what living for someone else feels like.

I don't think Sen would fall because mc "saved" her. She'd fall because MC refuses to give up on someone who's already given up on themselves.
