So, I streamed some of “It Came from the Desert” last night. To be honest, while at the time I remember it being a cool game, modern day me doesn’t really want to play it again.

Due to the nature of the storyline being forced, I had weird things like Jackie showing up in my house talking to me like I knew what was going on (I’m talking about later in the game, not when she shows up the first time).

I told Jackie to get out (declined her offer) and then went to see Dusty who got all shitty with me.

It felt like a D&D session with a bad DM who was forcing the storyline they had planned out. And honestly, even for a game as old as this, it didn’t have to be that way. Regardless, it was good to go bad and revisit it, but I don’t think I’ll be playing it again any time soon.
