Another ship piece of Captain Bazz and Noelani! This time, I commissioned willow_shrike from The Wyverns Nest on Discord.

Hard to believe that I used to ship Noelani with Prince Sidon but shipping her with Captain Bazz was such a surprise when I realized they fit so well on a what if scenario and I ended loving the pairing over the original ship. I had to write a bit of her story a bit but it was well worth it!

I love the two together so much!!

I recently commissioned belucitaw on Discord and this lovely piece of Noelani dancing is the result.

I am on a few art community servers over on Discord and I do occasionally look over the emergency sections to see if I can help artists within my budget. I know I can only do so much but I love helping artists regardless of that and every cent does count.

I am extremely happy to help out belucitaw and I can't thank her enough for this lovely piece of my Zora oc. Having this makes me happy and I am also extremely joyous to help out an artist in need too.

A slight update commission for Noelani by Gaylee (ggrotto.arts) on Discord.

Her belt got a slight update with the side piece. Her shoulder fins and hip fins are duo layered now with the section of her throat, chest, stomach, and thighs having the same white and orange dots as the spot on her head tail with a similar section on her back. Even her fins (section pair) on her head tail have an update.

I really love that she has a more of a tropical, Hawaiian vibe now. Well, tropical princess as you will. She also has a warm side too which works out greatly because of the maternal side of her personality.

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the design update and I really appreciate that Gaylee took the time to do this for me.

A reference sheet of Noelani thanks to a wonderful artist by the name of ri.mhan via Discord. She turned out so lovely here!

Noelani looks pretty and sweet here which does add to her personality. Other traits include...

-a calm side, she rarely gets angry and has a very long fuse. When she does get mad, she has a calm, scary anger not an explosive rage. Very unnerving and those around her try not to push that particular button.

- she has the tendency to puff her checks out when she's heavily focused on a task or flustered. A trait than earned her the name of pufferfish but only a select few use it, mainly by Captain Bazz because he teases her alot.

-she has a sense of humor, even when she doesn't try, and often causes laughter. She also has the tendency to find dry humor funny too and often giggles when any joke is told, though she does draw the line over those that not very nice or clean.

-she's a healer, so she very motherly and empathetic. She has a bad habit of being overly fussy when treating others, especially the extremely wounded, so she watches over them until they're well.

-she hums and sings almost constantly, a habit used to help her relax but other people get drawn to her because of it, and she ends up calming and relaxing others in the process.

My little goldfish Zora oc, Noelani, looks beautiful regardless if she wears her jewelry or not.

And these headshots truly highlights how she has mismatched fins. Her blue-green eye also pop due to the golden-orange coloration of her scales.

Reveeter finished the character reference sheet for Leimoni last Friday and I am now just uploading here, a week later. My bad!

Lore notes:

-Leimoni is from the Moon Zora tribe.

-Originally, her name was Ulani and her coloration wasn't aways turquoise and purple. She originally was black with blue splotches.

-She's very upbeat and absent minded though the biggest thing she's known for is being spotted on the highest of places due to her love of heights.

-Originally shipped with Captain Bazz but she's now paired with Prince Sidon due to the prince fitting well personality wise.

-She's an Oracle and a guardian to the Waters of Life which causes her to be targeted by the Yiga Clan.

-the half moon beta is the inspiration for her design and much like Noelani, she's small and delicate.

-She greatly dislikes others treating her special due to her size and often becomes reckless in order to prove she's strong and capable.

-which causes her to be in a bind more often than not.

This is a little doodle done by ri.mhan on Discord. She's updating my Zora oc, Noelani, via a character reference sheet commission and she's had to do this.

Side notes:

-Noelani's traits are based off of the goldfish. She doesn't have the typical dorsal fin though.

-Noelani's traits are from a small number of goldfish; the shubukin, veiltail and half moon specifically.

-her left face fin is white while the other is golden orange.

-her fins are transparent and flowy, giving her a delicate appearance which doesn't help because she's short for a typical adult Zora.

I learned that the month of May is Zora May. I wish I have the means to participate in regards to drawing my own Zora ocs or the ocs that belong to other wonderful people and artists. However, if anyone would be interested in participating and drawing my own Zora oc, I totally be floored and honored.
