I haven’t really seen anyone talk about why Ein is the way he is in a while. Or at least go into depth about why. Sometimes I see it on TikTok, but I haven’t been on there on months and people can be quite rude on there. So here’s my take [this is only a small portion of what I actually think, so that’s why there’s not much here, if this gets enough attention then I’ll make another post].
• I think people sometimes forget that children are the products of their environment. Ein’s thoughts had to be influenced somehow and by someone. For example, he has a really twisted concept about humans. It comes off as him being racist in a way. Especially when he says this:
"You humans... you have always been getting in our way. Holding us back, trying to keep us civil and organized so you can keep your peace. Keeping us from being what we were meant to be."
And he also seems to dislike the Meif’wa species as well, which may have been influenced by other werewolf adults around him. I don’t believe he was just "born evil". I hate it when creators of characters do that. Zack just up and leaving him probably messed him up even more as well. It was definitely a really awful thing to do on Zack’s part, considering Ein probably didn’t have many good adult figures in his life, let’s not forget that he was still probably quite young when Zack left. It’s like what Zack did with Aphmau. He left her and although Sylvanna did kick him out because of his "affair" with Ein’s mother, he didn’t try to explain what he was actually doing at all. It’s safe to say, Zack is not a good father. And I don’t doubt he probably wasn’t the best father-figure to Ein either but him just up and leaving probably messed Ein up quite a bit. Ein also attending an all-werewolf school probably didn’t help either and after becoming the Omega that probably just made him even worse. Because as we all know, Omegas are greatly disliked and bullied.
And while I am not trying to excuse any of Ein’s actions I do think it’s important to understand why he is the way he is. He was not born evil. A lot of people who don’t like Ein usually call people who sympathise with him "weirdos". If you’re one of those people, some of them actually may sympathise with him because of his background and upbringing. However I do understand that some others who sympathise with Ein simply do it just because of how much they love him and because they feel sorry for him (most of the time those people tend to forget all of his wrongdoings and ignore how bad of a person he is). You don’t have to just love or hate a character. You can like them and dislike them. If you excuse Ein’s actions then your opinions about him immediately become invalid. Just like if you don’t care about his background or at least try to understand it, then your points immediately become invalid. Using the excuse of him being born evil is not a good reason for why you don’t like him and using the excuse of how he was treated (as a teenager) is not a good reason for why you like him. Excusing all of what he did as an adult is not a good idea, when you’re an adult, you should know better. And that goes for him as a teenager as well. Let’s be real here, he was using Aphmau. He didn’t truly love her or like her. He intentionally stole her phone and then lied about not having it, and when he had her phone he texted Aaron extremely horrible messages which he knew would ruin their friendship. And if you say that he loved her then you’re wrong, he was using her because she was the female Alpha and he wanted to be the male Alpha. If he was friends with her and even had a relationship with her he would gain more power. And If he became the male Alpha (which was exactly what he wanted from the beginning) he would gain more respect and power over the werewolves, mainly the weaker ones who couldn’t fight back against him. He liked to target weaker werewolves and this is shown when he makes Daniel the omega knowing that he wouldn’t be able to fight back. Why didn’t he make someone like Blaze the omega? Because Blaze is strong and knows how to fight back which is something Ein hates.
Like I said in the beginning of this post this is only a small portion of what I think. I’ll go into more detail about his upbringing if this gets enough attention! I understand that this is quite disorganised and I do apologise but this is mainly just a test to see how much attention this’ll gain and if I can make another one based on how much attention it gets.
Thanks for reading ♥︎. And if you disagree with me a lot then I completely get why, this definitely isn’t the best I could do. But like I said before: I’ll go into more detail based on how much attention it gets!
I don't really care how long it takes for the next season of mystreet to be released, I think they should totally take their time and give us something they're proud of without rushing; but I do wish the team was more transparent about the progress. Feels like we never have any clue what's going on or when things are to be expected... Maybe I missed an update and it's totally on me, I just wish Jess was more communicative with us and the fandom as a whole. Lately I especially feel like we're constantly in the dark about everything. It would be really nice if they were a little more open to talking to us (and maybe not just aphtwt....)
when a child excels every time, their work stops being put on the fridge. their relatives arent as proud at reunions hearing of their accomplishments. their awards go dusted in the attic. the rising expectations become a baseline in behavior.
when a child is struggling and not doing well, a lot of attention is put on that child. their accomplishments are more grand. despite not matching the other child in proficiency — it soon becomes more impressive that this child is capable. they never had high expectations on them to succeed.
so i think i know why vylad wasnt as excited to see zane than garroth in episode 27 of mystreet season one.
throwback to that one time Zane got so mad at garroth for saying he was a good brother that he temporarily broke free from a forever potion to yell at him
Day 562 + 1036 of posting Aphmau memes till MyStreet season 7 comes out | Been having Fun with the New Tomodachi Life game. Honestly I'm always at a LOSS for words at how much fun I'm having
rant about garte and zianna romeave, aka the romeave parents. before reading, just know this focuses on them being terrible parents!!
warning: swearing, long paragraphs, mentions of being emotionally manipulative, abusive, etc
zianna and garte both were terrible parents in mys(not speaking on other universes of them since i haven’t watched anything else, even tho i need to). erm, okay. i’m aware we don’t have a lot of information on the parents, but i do think the romeaves have the most. (other than the lycans/shakakla(aphs family..no clue how to spell her last name actually))starting off more with the parent that i hate more that didn’t even try and hide their assholeness, garte! there wasn’t necessarily any actual proof that the romeave parents physically hurt their kids, and i think for the most part they didn’t. i do think it was more emotionally and verbally. the main thing you have to go based off gartes character is the very few moments he showed up and what zane has to say abt him.
what garte acted like when he did show up in the series: he made a ton of jokes abt how zane couldn’t get a girlfriend, called zane a 2/10, doesn’t rlly know his kids very well(in s4, he kept saying that zane would burn the lodge down even tho that’s not smth he would do since he’s way more mature), in pdh- he didn’t do anything to try and stop his kids from arguing and instead took a work call instead of paying attention to his kids, etc. these are just some key moments i remember.. he also bought the street in s3 for them, but like?? let’s be so fr, that was so zianna. anyway, i know all of these are negative but that’s literally the only thing he’s ever shown as. starting off with the comments he made with zane and nana- people often say that this is just how their family jokes, but i disagree with that. maybe they’d be shocked that zane got a partner since he’s shown to be uninterested in love for most of his life which makes sense, but why would you say that he could never get a girlfriend and that he’s ugly? you should NEVER be talking abt your kids that way. insulting your children will not be excused.. it’s not okay, that’s not a joke. garte also used garroth for experiments obv, and yeah that was a clear sign to me that he just sucked and was toxic. (his favoritism could also be another obvious sign)
how garte made zane feel and the world of garte thru zane’s mind/feelings: basically, he just made him like crap is what i get from what zane says. zane canonically has a low self-image (said in wiki, he has said he, himself is ugly too), and i feel like it could be that way due to comments that people have made to him? to me, it’s implied (and maybe said, lowkey don’t remember) that garte, garroth, shadow knights, etc made a lot of negative remarks abt him.
then, zianna. omg, this woman got away with literally all her bad parenting methods. a very good example is her being emotionally manipulative. this is shown towards the end of mys s1, where she is manipulating them into saying zane and aph are dating (which is partly why the whole fake dating arc started tbh). i’m pretty sure zianna saw a pic aph uploaded online, and thought they were dating? the pic was innocent and didn’t seem romantic anyway so idk why she thought that, zane was blushing in the pic i believe cuz he was embarrassed/flustered. anyway, i think garroth and vylad accidentally said that they were dating to make her happy, cuz she was abt to cry. (sure, she may be sensitive, but she got over it way too fast to be real? her reactions were strange.) anyway, later when zane was abt to call her to tell her the truth abt them not dating, gar n vylad tell zane that she was crying over it. they all start to feel guilty over making their mom cry, and so yh. while i do think it’s possible to be that sensitive, im pretty sure she shouldn’t get over it that fast?? i’m aware it’s just a rp, but still. she was being rlly overbearing. i don’t remember this one, but one of the comments i saw on my last post (not my reblogs) mentioned that at the end of s3, she cries to make garroth talk to aaron abt going home. i also don’t remember this one either for some reason but she also said that meifwas are typically mellow and that she should be too. it was just weird to tell her to act a certain way like that?? (zianna also slapped garroth at the end of s6 for being mean to zane. it just wasn’t necessary, she didn’t have to do that. so many other ways to handle it)
anyway, overall they both had terrible parenting methods and seemed abusive. i didn’t go back and fact check any of these (some i didn’t need to go back to cuz i just know they’re right), so im sorry if anything is inaccurate/incorrect! please correct me if anything is wrong.
also, random fact : the first time i watched mystreet wasn’t technically me watching watching it?? i just watched whatever random eps i wanted and chose characters i liked more (zane n lucinda were always my favs). i legit figured out the lore thru gacha reaction vids lmao
i’m sorry for abandoning you guys for like a month, i’ve been busy. this is kind of what i meant by i wasn’t consistent with my posting!
Adding on to the Garte assuming Zane would burn down the lodge thing, it's always been my personal interpretation that Garte's always assumed the worst to come from Zane, which is also really toxic, ESPECIALLY as a parent.
I wouldn't be surprised if both of the Ro'meave parents are, even if unintentionally, kinda racist. Not in the "Oh, I hate them" kind of way, but more of the ignorant, assuming way, where they rely on stereotypes to inform them on these groups, and from there, inform their interactions with these people. Garte is implied to be in MCD, with him specifically ordering his guards to keep Meif'wa out of O'hkasis.
Another layer to add to Zianna being somewhat abusive as a mother is the weird limbo Vylad's canonicity as being Zane and Garroth's half brother. There's not significance to this in Mystreet, heck, most Mystreet only fans are unaware that Vylad is technically a half brother thanks to MCD and a throw away line in PDH S1, however, back on topic, Vylad existing and being confirmed to still be a half brother means that Zianna cheated, and going off of how we're told it went in MCD, it was most likely on purpose. This shows a disregard for the family she already had before cheating, and is just an overall shitty thing to do, but especially when considering what happens to the family if Garte finds out.
Honestly, I feel like all of Zianna's abuse is unintentional on her part, mostly being through neglect, unchecked behavior on both sides, ignorance, favoritism, and more. She doesn't try to be abusive or manipulative, but she also doesn't seem to notice any consequences that come from her actions, or if she does, it's in the "Oh, you guys" kind of way.
I dunno, I just saw this post, thought it made a lot of good points, and decided to repost with a few of my own thoughts.
yes, i completely agree!! i will admit i do like zianna sometimes, and i can see how she may not have intentionally been abusive! i have so many mixed thoughts on her tbh. and yes, vylad! i forgot to mention and talk abt how zianna cheated on garte. (i remember somewhere in like the side eps right before s4 that zianna mentioned her and garte had like a break up arc? then like garte adopted vylad. i remember it being a conversation in one of andy’s rewatching mystreet vids with the vas. i rlly need to check if this is true or not tho, i have no clue!! )
idk if i mentioned it previously but i remember in a comment i saw, they remembered zianna saying that meifwas are so mellow and kawaiichan should be too. i know this is kind of unrelevant but i just thought id add this to show the romeave parents are kind of weird in the way they act or just the things they say sometimes.
overall, i agree with what you’re saying! i haven’t watched mcd, but i have seen clips of it and ik they’re abusive. thank you so much for adding on to what i was saying and speaking your opinion!
also idk if you know what i was talking about with the andy rewatching vids with the vas but here’s a quick picture of like the thumbnails to give you a better idea just in case! :
No cause it’s so offensive to not defend your close friend who you know did nothing wrong WHILE on vacation that THEY took you to.
Why didn’t Garroth, Travis, and Nana jump in and say anything? Didn’t Garroth literally just mention a few episodes ago that Dante hasn’t dated anyone since Nana in Highschool? And Nana confirmed it by punching him, fully debunking the cheater propaganda and then Jess remembered that and showed us that he in fact didn’t cheat contradicting herself again for the 200th time. nah cause they were so fake to Dante I can’t believe he took them to a one week 5 star cruise afterwards none of them deserved it he’s better than me fr most annoying part of that season was when aphmau came in with her 4 foot self involving herself in something that had nothing to do w her and talking about some “where’s Dante I gotta teach him a lesson1!1!1 🤬” girl you barely reach his kneecap he can literally pick u up and throw you out of a window sit down you have much more important struggles to worry about like how your boyfriend can’t be around kids and how you almost dated your half brother. Now be grateful you’re even here in love love paradise mrs grown woman who swims with toddlers in the kiddies pool and Nicole.. you also grow up you’re crying childishly cause he doesn’t date you 💀 it’s not the end of world seriously get over it y’all never were and never will be a thing leave that man aloneeee there are many fish in the sea go date Katelyn instead if you want one with blue hair so badly
As usual Zane and Lucinda were the only reasonable, logical and smart two to not involve themselves in this mess
Yap session about Zane~Chan
Zana/Zane~Chan gets a lot of hate as a ship, but I think it's the healthiest romance in the series.
I personally don't think it's THAT rushed, maybe towards the end, but they didn't just come out of nowhere, it was set up in s2 and they had moments here and there in seasons after that. It was clear even before Starlight that it was set up to be something in the future. But that's besides the point. Their relationship shows healthy communication and growth between two people, and an overall good representation of how a relationship should be. It shows mistakes and flaws within the relationship, and how it's important to communicate and try to fix these things.
Despite how Nana is in relationships, and despite how Zane had never been in a relationship before, it's surprisingly the most mature romance we see.
In the beginning, we see Nana sort of trying to rush things, like she's known to do. Zane tells her that it's okay to go slow and that it's best for them. She takes this criticism and tries to better herself. Zane comes out of his shell a bit more thanks to Nana. In the 'Nana accidentally kissing Garroth' thing, Zane showed true maturity in the way he handled that. He was sad at first, but once Nana explained, he said he believed her. He believed her because he trusted her. That kind of trust is so important in relationships. I think they both truly try to understand each other, because they genuinely care. I think that's a great representation of problems within relationships and working past them. For a Minecraft roleplay.
A lot of Zane's growth as a character was on his own or with the help of Aphmau at the beginning of Mystreet, but we definitely see even more of it in his relationship with Nana. This is how it should be! A character going through self improvement on their own, throughout a series. We see him grow as a character, we got more lore as we went on, saw him warm up to the people around him, etc.
But Nana... my babygirl... what did they do to you...
In Starlight, Nana felt like a character thrown in there as a love interest for Zane. Her character didn't have much growth or depth before that, and all of a sudden in Starlight she's telling her deepest darkest secrets to Zane. While I think that they really did grow closer in "Aphmau's Year", and I do not think she was wrong for suddenly telling him about her past, it felt like bad writing on Jessons part. It just gives the feeling of "oh lets finally give this female character some depth so she can be with this male character." If that makes sense. I wish she had that growth or that lore was revealed earlier on, not just for her relationship with Zane.
So, of course Zana has its faults here and there, but I don't think it's because of their relationship dynamic or anything, I think it's the fault of bad writing (especially on Nana's part). If their story had more thought put into it, and the writers weren't so focused on one ship(Aarmau), it would have been much better. I still think it's great, and I love them, but it could have been better.
Nonetheless, they have a healthy relationship, and they send a good message to the young audience about how things work in relationships. They don't have a very suspicious age gap! And they don't punch each other or sexualize each other to a concerning degree!! Stares at Aarmau and Travelyn.
hate how ghost gets away with all the shit she does because "is ghost".
like, when michi TRIED to trick Aaron into kissing, it was considered a step too far and she was immediately ousted from the group from that point forward. garroth and laurance both stand up for aaron in a broment despite how they were still in that weird aarmau stage where they'd stop at nothing to rip their relationship apart, and ironically Zane is the person who ultimately tells michi to fuck off and if he ever sees her try that to anyone again he would not hesitate.
but when ghost ACTUALLY kisses Zane, everyone immediately accuses him of lying even though lucinda confirmed the possession. no one has any issue with taking ghost home with them because "uwu sad ghost". ghost is treated like a romantic rival instead of an actual predator who doesn't change her behavior and has literally tried to kill kc in pursuit of zane. she's literally the most aggessive out of all the characters with boundary issues and the worst she ever gets is kim getting mad because she doesn't like that people think she has a crush on zane.

Aphmau fans when Zane bullied and threatened kids in PDH and then proceeded to be a douche bag to everyone until s2 of Mystreet: 😍😍🥰🥰
Aphmau fans when Ivan CHEATSS on Lucinda in Mystreet: 😍😍🥰
Aphmau fans when Aaron is a pedophile and groomer, and kills hundreds of innocent civilians in starlight: 😍😍😍🥰🥰
Aphmau fans when Dante doesn’t wanna be with Nicole in both MCD and MYS: 🤬🤬😡😡👹👹
like i can see the point you're trying to make but also:
gene's creepiness is pretty well documented? also while it's weird that he's a senior pursuing aph, he's not actually an adult so the issue is less the age gap and more the blackmail and clear violations of aph's boundaries.
the whole kc situation wasn't garroth's fault at all??? the note kc left was entirely anonymous do garroth had no clue who it was from or for, and kc physically pulled garroth into the kiss assuming it was zane. the fandom is really lenient about garroth's weird torturing zane era i think we should talk about that more.
the travlyn situation has been talked to death regarding both travis and katelyn but also side eye to lucinda, who summoned travis right out of a shower to fuck with katelyn.
the fandom doesn't talk about kc's gross behavior towards zane nearly enough (girliepop literally threatened to spill zane's lodge trauma if he didn't sneak her into starlight for aarmau purposes), but they do talk about literally everything else. its just another sprinkle on the racist charicature stalker maid catgirl sundae.
pdh zane is weird because we never get to see him do anything too terrible and its only ever referred to vaguely. its hard to judge his crimes if all we get is "he was a dick".
mys s1 zane's biggest crime was being rude to a group of people who already openly hated him. not getting along with people who don't respect you isn't a moral failing, especially since zane never goes out of his way to antagonize the rest of the cast. plus the whole point of zane's character arc is learning how to get along with people and have friends? why would we condemn him for being kind of a dick at the beginning when it's made clear by episode 6 that zane's not as bad as the cast thinks he is and his character growth starts BEFORE the halfway point of the first season of a six season series.
im sorry who has ever defended mys ivan. name one mystreet ivan fan.
aaron's been the hot topic of controversial aphblr since 2021. like half the confessions from our aphblr confession blogs are either about aarmau being bad or telling people to stop complaining about how bad aarmau is because they're just sick of hearing the same points over and over again.
aphblr is pretty neutral to postive about dante? at the very least, ive never seen someone so pro-nicole/pro-dancole that they are mad about dante not dating nicole. however i have seen people defend mystreet dante bc mys nicole was a pretty toxic partner in s2.
