I heavily based reader's dad on my own father, considering he's my only point of reference. My dad, to say the least, is kind of a badass, so I figured it was fitting. He's the type to spend his weekends in fighting tournaments against ex marines and cops, to give you an idea. I imagine reader's Dad, being a monster and knowing the dangers his child may face, would be very protective. I also thought it'd be fun to see the boys squirm a bit 😂

To say your father was intimidating would be both right and wrong.
To you, he's a guardian angel. Growing up, he'd bring you blood bags for your "special" diet, and roughhouse with you so you could get used to using your more monstrous features. He never was much of the cuddly type, but he never seemed to have an issue with you using him as a jungle gym and dangling from his horns when you were small. You can't remember a time he's so much as raised his voice to you either, unless it was to call you back when you wandered off on your monthly hunting trips as a kid. You were his darling child who could do no wrong, to say the least.
To others... not so much. The man was a 7ft (213cm) tall, hulking humanoid monster with the build of an athlete, 4 large horns on his head, a mane lined with sharp spines, golden eyes, and teeth sharper than most knives. He had a more human form, of course, but that wasn't much better. He still appeared extremely tall, with the build of someone who knew their way around a gym. He still had those glowing gold eyes you share, but he often hid his features with a baggy hoodie and whatever jeans he could find.
Your past partners had all been scared of him, to say the least. I mean- his favorite way of introducing himself was with a firm handshake and a question along the lines of "How long can you hold a plank? Prove it." or "If someone hit on my child at a party, how would you react?" Not exactly subtle. He was protective, and he had every right to be considering what you both were. Your mother was accepting of his monstrous traits, but others may not be so open when it comes to you.
Still, it came as a bit of a surprise when you received a text one day along the lines of, "I'll be in your town soon. Let that little circus boy of yours know I'll be meeting him." How he found out? You have no idea. Now you've got a couple monsters to warn before he arrives. Good luck?
When you appear one night at his show, looking as nervous as someone who's just been told of an imminent disaster, he pays attention. Who caused your worry? He can fix it! He can get rid of them quicker than you can ask, if you'd like!
He wraps up his show quickly and after waiting a moment for guests to clear out, he pulls you to the side.
You explain that your father wants to meet him.
At first, he's overjoyed! He'll be meeting his beloved's father!
Then it sinks in that he'll be meeting your monster father.
He's even happier! It isn't often they get to meet other monsters! (especially one that he hopes will be family someday)
You have to explain that your father isn't exactly the... friendliest. He's kind! Yes, just... only to you and your mother.
He realizes why you seem so worried.
He's quick to reassure you that he's thrilled to meet your family, and that he'll be on his best behavior!
You're gonna have to give him a bit of training before they meet. No fawning over you in front of your father!
Of everyone, Pierrot tries the most! He aims to impress
When he finally meet him, he's a bit.... intimidated. This guy is massive, with a look in his eyes that screams "if you wrong my child, I'll eat you"
Still, he toughs it out for you. He can be brave!
Be sure to praise him after, he's worried about your father's opinion for weeks...

No matter how you put it, this isn't the kind of man you introduce to your parents, especially not when your father is an overprotective monster.
He's... conflicted when you first tell him. Part of him is worried about making a good impression for once, but another part of him is too caught up in teasing you to avoid his feelings on the matter.
He may not seem to be taking this seriously, but internally he's panicking. Meeting the parents? That's a leap, isn't it? Ah geez. He didn't sign up for this.
As time creeps by and the time to meet your father approaches, he keeps trying to come up with excuses. Unfortunately for him, you're not letting him get out of this.
When the time comes, he's his every charismatic self, but you can tell he's keeping an eye on your father. He's intimidating!!
During the meeting he makes a few too many suggestive jokes for your fathers liking (1 is too many) and lands himself a shovel talk.
He escapes unscathed though! Just a bit more aware that he can't be playing around when it comes to you.
"My dear, should you ever change your mind, I think this one would look fantastic over the fireplace, don't you?"
Very reluctant approval, if only for your sake.
He lets him off with a warning.
