Wow wow, it is so fortunate @taylorswift got out of BigMachine Records when she did.

She said it was a complete surprise when Braun bought the label, right? And I don’t know how these things work, but I don’t think you just buy a $300m company at the drop of a hat; these things take time. There’s a good chance that BRM had already begun proceedings to sell when they tried to talk Taylor into “earning” her albums back one at a time as she produced new ones. Would that be a six album contract? Maybe not, but it would have been at least one album working under this creep, though. So glad she is in a healthier situation now, and god did she ever narrowly dodge that bullet. 😰
