Might change name later but for now its the Lunar Kerian Child AU

This AU is based on the fact Kerian has taken an interest in Lunar, and I am obsessed with making AUs where characters have a kid and have to deal with it.

This AU will contain Lunar x Kerian and Lunar x Gemini btw

Edit 3/25/26: I don't think I'll ever continue this au since Lunar and Gemini broke up, and I fell out of the fandom. Though I might pop back in with a drawing or two because I like the designs. Thank you and I'm sorry to anyone who liked this au.

I stopped watching TLAES and TSAMS for a bit so I stopped posting here, so I'm going to catch up on the shows lore I missed before posting more lore about my AU. Its been practically 6 months since I watched a vid so I have a lot to catch up on lol.

Lunar: No... I do still like you... But I thought you are still mad at me. Plus wanting to get back together so soon doesn't seem like you

In their head:

Pollux: I did NOT plan for this!

Castor: I didn't either... What do we do?

Pollux: Tell him the truth?

Castor: Sure...

Gemini: Sooo... There are new astrals starting to form AND they need to be looked after. And they need someone with star power. The other Astrals and I need all of our star power because we are often fighting with the dark stars...

Lunar: So you want to drop a bunch of baby astrals on me? Why would you ask to get back together?

Gemini (Pollux): Don't get us wrong, we weren't going to get with you then abandon you

Gemini (Castor): Plus only one of them is ready to for m right now so we only need you to take care of them

Gemini: And normally you Earthlings won't raise a child that isn't yours... But if we were partners again then they would be yours too...

Gemini: Lunar

Lunar: Gemini?!

Gemini: Lunar... We should get back together

Lunar: No... Gemini, did something happen?

Gemini: No? What do you mean no!? Am I not your type anymore?!

I won't tell you how many since I am figuring that out too BUT here are two

Context to this image: The way the young astrals/Lunar's kids work is basically that they needed more star power to form. All of them took from Lunar but sometimes the other astrals would help out and spare some of theirs. So Nebula helped out with Meteor and Comet so that is why they have some of her colors and some resemblance to her. NOT BECAUSE LUNAR CHEATED OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT WITH NEBULA! I just want that to be clear :)

Both Comet and Meteor are training to become messengers like Nebula but they have some of Lunar's powers too. We have seen Lunar make heat waves so I imagine Meteor can do that too just in a short range though. Comet can shoot chunks of ice long range

World building for my AU

This will be long and might be boring sorry You can skip this if you want

The Astrals we know like Gemini, Taurus, Libra, etc. Formed at the start of the universe, back then there was a whole lot of free highly concentrated star power so as they formed, they took in a lot and formed fully adults but that means they didn't leave much for the slower developing stars. Those ones ended up taking more negative star power and turned into the Dark star Astrals. And whatever little extra star power just pooled and collected in that area for years and year and years, eventually forming more Astrals. But they need more star power, they are still very weak and easily influenced. I imagine it's similar to how temperature decides if a baby will be a boy or girl, for Astrals the amount of positive and negative star power they absorb will decide if they will be a dark star being and vice versa

The Astrals and Dark Astrals find this out and of course want to get their hands on them bc more the merrier right? Anyways they fight for a bit and each side gets some. The Astrals now need to figure out what they do next because the young Astrals need more star power, and they can't give up too much of theirs because then that would weaken them for a bit and the dark stars could use that against them. (The dark stars were also in the same predicament)

Also mind you around the time this happened they just gave Lunar the choice to stay on earth or become an astral

The Astrals decide to give Lunar the young astrals. But no one knows how this would work so they tested it with only one of them, Gemini droping off the young astral with Lunar and visiting more often to try to support him. It worked out fine with Corona, so the dark astrals did the same thing. Kerian dropping off Corona then coming back a bit later mainly to annoy Gemini and continue trying to get Lunar on their side.

Formation of Astrals

Specifically Corona and Corvid

But Corona's is basically how the rest of their siblings ended up forming minus the starting splitting thing

This is Corona when they are merged, Corona can split into two like Gemini.

Corona Australis is the more feminine presenting one and Corona Borealis is the more masculine one. (shown here)

NO they are not named after the virus TnT my friend pointed that out

They/Them pronouns when merged

He/Him pronouns for Borealis

She/Her pronouns for Australis

They got star power from Lunar and Gemini, so they have mainly positive star power but since they were the first they got some of Lunars dark star power. Only a tiny bit and it doesn't hurt them. Just makes them a bit more easily triggered especially Australis because she is the weaker twin (health and magic wise)

Australis has Castor's listening and speaking powers.

Borealis has storm powers, but he mainly uses lightning.

They are both very protective of all of their siblings

(Lunar has a lot of kids, y'all just haven't seen them all :p)
