is it customary to have a post introducing one’s self?

Hi, I'm Orion and my favorite color is Green.

I don't plan to post a lot, just occasionally. Except for reblogging, sometimes I go and reblog everything I see if I like it enough. (It's a bit of a problem, actually.) My profile pic is from the Death Note manga, and my page banner is from Junjou Romantica.

Also, this blog is not for kids, I’ll probably reblog some 18+ content, IDK.

Western media and games I really enjoy (include but not limited to): Undertale/Deltarune, Minecraft, Paralives, DC (specifically batman related media), MCU (and other marvel media, mainly Spider-Man), Harry Potter (and Fantastic Beasts), Gravity Falls, Scooby Doo, Barbie (mainly the 2000s movies), Winx, Monster High, and Ever After High.

I enjoy a lot eastern media as well. Specifically, anime, manga, manhua, manhwa, video games, and dramas (and cd dramas).

Anime/Manga I really enjoy (include but not limited to): Chobits, Ouran High School Host Club, Popotan, Fruits Basket, Spice and Wolf, Princess Tutu, Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi, Junjou Romantica, Hitorijime Boyfriend, Hitorijime My Hero, Fairy Tail, Higurashi: When They Cry, The Summer Hikaru Died, Mushi-shi, Another, Death Note, Black Butler, and the entire filmography of Studio Ghibli.

If I post anything, it will most likely be related to the media above.

I’m also a lover of historical or historical inspired clothing/fashion, so there will be reblogs on this topic. I’m a huge retro/vintage nerd.

I’ve lived in new york my whole life and never thought to ask where the name Gotham comes from until now. Apparently it means “goat town” and was originally used to refer to a folklore village in England where people were said to have all acted like idiots to avoid being visited by the king. It was applied to New York as an insult and then got adopted, and subsequently re adopted when DC decided new york wasn’t good enough for killer clowns. Anyway! That’s very fun. Dark gothic city known for crime and being terrorized by crazed villains essentially chose a name accusing people there of acting crazy on purpose to avoid being visited by distinguished outsiders. Amazing.

When Bruce points out how many of them look like him in some way or another, Tim turns to Alfred. Tim: Alfred, why is he like this? he knows we're not his biological children, right? Alfred: ...I'm afraid he gets that from me, Master Tim.

Tim: Kon?

Bruce: *Pauses*

Bruce: Is he not your new boyfriend?

Tim: No! It’s a guy called Bernard.

Bruce: ..Oh. Well, congratulations, Tim.

Tim: Thanks…

Dick: I thought Kon was in outer space?

Tim: …My boyfriend. Not Kon.

I normally don’t care for Batfam AUs where one or more of the adopted kids become surprise bio kids because it usually (not always) feels like cheapening the adopted relationship by saying “and now they’re real family” but what if instead AU where the reason baby Tim Drake starts stalking Bruce Wayne is because he discovered Bruce is his bio dad and through stalking discovers Bruce is Batman. What then?

I have Thoughts about Bruce Wayne and age regression but in, like, a subtle way where he'll be hanging out with Dick and Dick wants to do normal eight year old boy things and Bruce just does normal eight year old boy things with him and has fun and in 100% on Dick's level throughout it. He's not doing it in a fetish way or even deliberately, he just genuinely feels like this eight year old boy is his best friend.

There's a dry spot in the Gotham crime wave and Dick goes 'hey I found all your cool trainsets, can I put them all together and make one giant railway?' and Bruce is immediately like 'only if I get to do it with you'.

They spend all day putting together one giant railway together and talk about their railway over dinner and afterwards Dick gets tired and Alfred sends him to bed.

Then Alfred sort of pulls him aside and Bruce is only thinking about asking if he can buy them more train tracks and they can make it even BIGGER tomorrow when Alfred calls him a good parent and Bruce just...snaps out of it hard enough to hurt.

Alfred gives him a few words of praise about how good it was that he was looking after the boy by humoring his interests and spending time with him and Bruce just...wasn't thinking about that.

He wanted to play trains with Dick because playing trains is fun and playing with trains with his friend is even more fun and they made a cool big railway and he had fun. At no point was he thinking 'ah yes, as the responsible adult here I will do this childish activity that is beneath me to entertain this child', he just wanted to play trains with his friend. At no point did he consider himself as the adult all day. At most he thought of himself as the taller eight year old.

Alfred is praising him for growing up and he spent the entire day acting like a child and now he feels guilty about that.

Do you think there were moments, early on, when Robin would do something so childlike on patrol (nothing wrong, just small things) that it would suddenly hit Bruce ? The way he’d rub his eyes when he was tired, or how his lip would tremble for just a second after scraping his knee before quickly powering through it. How he’d hum to himself while waiting on a rooftop, swing his legs when he thought Bruce wasn’t looking, or get excited pointing out constellations in the Gotham sky like it wasn’t the same polluted mess as always.

So for a split second, the mission wouldn’t matter anymore. Bruce would just turn around and say, “We’re going home,” leaving Dick confused, tugging at his cape like, “What ? But we just got here.”

On those nights, Bruce would overcompensate by getting Dick’s favorite dessert, letting him stay up late to watch movies, or taking him to the amusement park the next day. It was his subtle way of making up for what he’d almost forgotten : that before he was Robin, Dick was still a child who deserved to be one.

Some of my JL hc but I'm making demands now :

- I want Oliver to possess the most uncanny, unblinking, predatory stare in the entire League. He’ll just lock eyes with you and look right through you like an owl sizing up a field mouse.

- I want Diana to have, without question, the biggest biceps in the Trinity. Bruce refuses to arm-wrestle her, and Clark only does it because he can't get bruised.

- I want John Stewart to secretly be the true, undisputed ‘pretty boy’ of the Justice League. Hal gets the Hollywood look and Bruce gets the billionaire charms, but John has flawless bone structure, a perfect smile, and natural elegance.

- I want Clark to randomly and aggressively radiate intense heat or bone-chilling cold as his Kryptonian biology regulates to him coming back from outer space.

- I want Bruce’s internal clock to be so messed up from decades of night patrol that he can fall asleep perfectly upright, eyes open behind the white lenses. He looks like he's deep in thought, but only Clark's X-ray vision can detect he’s actually unconscious.

- I want Barry to emit a constant static hum that messes with nearby Bluetooth devices.

- I want Dinah to have the largest, loudest genuine laugh. And I want Oliver to fall for her every time she lets one of those out.

- I want Booster to have a beauty filter built into his visor that he refuses to turn off. If you look at his face too closely, you’ll feel the uncanny valley effect.

- I want Zatanna to smell intoxicatingly good at all times.
