*Traps Luna in her own house*
“My home has everything I need, so I fail to see why this is such a big deal.”
Not long after Doppelganger Makoto had been deafeated, Mercury reached out to Luna on the communicator. "Luna, where is Makoto-chan? I think... I think she's in trouble. Taiki, too... I ned to know... Are they okay?"
Luna had just finished sending out her message when Mercury’s picture popped up on the screen, signaling that they were connected in a private line. Had the girl not heard the message she had just sent out? No matter, these thing happened and the communications module was far from perfect yet.
“Mako-chan is in trouble, Ami-chan. I received Taiki-san’s message regarding the connection between the doppelgangers and the ones from our world just a few moments ago. She had gone down, Ami-chan, and her vitals are dropping quickly. She’s at Jadeite’s apartment, right next door to yours.”
She paused for a moment as she looked at her screens, doing what she can to check on Taiki.
“For the time being, Taiki-san is doing okay. Her vitals are stable, but she is experiencing a lot of pain. There is another person with her, and I believe them to be a benevolent one.”
Shocking Information || SMRP Doppelganger Finale Drabble
Luna sat before the massive keyboard in the lab, watching the screens intently. She hadn't managed to get into the camera systems she had, but she kept tabs on every powerful blip on her map. She watched each area she had, with the readings of all the people of interest in each location. She hoped that the senshi would be able to take down the enemies. They always had before.
The system began to blare as one of the blips turned red, signaling severe damage. Luna was quick to look at her maps, trying to figure out what was going on. The blip that was red was the one that belonged to Sailor Jupiter. Had the doppelganger of the Queen been too much for her? Looking to another map, she saw that the blip she made for Jupiter's doppelganger was now gone. She froze for a moment, trying to figure out what was happening. It was then that the system received a message.
“Luna…It’s Taiki, listen. Those who have doppelgangers are in trouble. When they feel pain, whoever they are linked to- Gah! They feel the pain just as badly. You need to tell the others who have doppels to be prepared. I just felt the effects and I don’t know how much longer I’ll be conscious. You needed to know so you can update them all.”
Luna sat there in shock before responding quickly.
“Message received, Taiki-san! Please stay safe.” Pressing a few keys on the board, the mautian opened a channel of communication to go to all of the senshi.
“Soldiers, this is urgent. We have learned that some of you may be tied to these doppelgangers. Any wounds they receive will mirror onto you. Try and find a way to defeat them without inflicting grave damage.” She was silent for a few moments.
“Sailor Moon, or someone in the area, you need to get Sailor Jupiter out of there. Her vitals are dropping quickly and need immediate medical help. And anyone else with one of these doppelgangers, be sure to have someone ready to call an ambulance. I can't communicate with outside numbers yet.”
The Mirror versions appear! {Drabble}
A sudden power surge was causing the lab equipment to go haywire. Luna glanced around quickly, working to stabilize the machines and see what was going on; in a few moments, the mapping systems were back online, displaying coordinates. Four new dots were spread across the area, each on a different section of the map. Several moments of frantic work were undertaken, and by the time the alarm system had quieted, she had realized the significance of those four dots.
The systems had pinpointed duplicate energies, identical to those of people already in this universe - in other words, enemies that would need to be taken care of. With the scanning and visual systems still offline, Luna couldn't exactly see where they were, but the coordinates available would ensure the Senshi communicators would be able to guide them to the right location to deal with this problem Clearing her throat, she opened up a line of communication for everyone who had the frequency.
"Sailor Senshi! The time for defend the planet has come once again! I'm getting multiple different readings of duplicate energies, though I've yet to identify who exactly has been duplicated! Yaten-san, Chibiusa-chan, you are both close to one, the coordinates are 35.657000, 139.733809. Mako-chan, Usagi-chan, you two are almost right on top of the one located at 35.651822, 139.731878! JunJun-san, VesVes-san, please head towards, 35.658586, 139.727565, it's near your area! If you pass by any senshi on your way, try to catch their attention, but I'm not seeing many people in your area unfortunately! Ami-chan, Minako-chan, you two will need to head 35.651421, 139.726878. I'm going to try and get the others to meet up with you all so you have assistance!"
She took a moment to catch her breath, sending the individual coordinates to each group. "I've uploaded your specified coordinates to your communicators. I'll be here at the base doing whatever I can. Hurry, everyone!" Closing the system, Luna opened up her private communication, contacting Setsuna. "Setsuna-san, would you be able to assist Ami-chan and Minako-chan?"
That said, Luna returned to the systems, trying to bring everything online so she could provide better support.
What was once a smile became a frown and guilt swept over her. Within the last few month she had taken up business opportunities in order to educate herself and broaden her horizons; once the time came for Crystal Tokyo to be built she would be sure to be of use and value. However what had been intended as a brief excursion was extended with new opportunities.
“Why hasn’t anyone told me sooner? I would have come home. I would have been here!” She takes a deep breath in order to remain composed although within her mind she questioned why no one had alerted her; why hadn’t Usagi or even Minako sounded an alarm? A bit of anger swelled and burned her chest at the thoughts but she supposed she hadn’t maintained the best lines of communication either.
“I’m home now and I swear I won’t be leaving again. Please, Luna, tell me all that you’ve learned.”
“We didn’t call you home because there wasn’t anything we couldn’t handle ourselves. You were doing your own thing, Rei-chan. There was no way we could pull you away from a trip you were enjoying.” Luna began, not seeing any reason to keep the senshi of fire in the darkness about what has transpired in her absence.
“Several months ago, a young girl appeared out of nowhere. Her name is Kousagi, and she is the daughter of Usagi-chan and Mamoru-san. But she is from another universe. Around this time, an anomaly in space was discovered. At that time, I started to work on repairing the computers in our base. Kousagi was taken in by Jadeite-san, which works out well since he lives next door to Ami-chan and Mako-chan. Once Kousagi had arrived, monsters started appearing. Nothing difficult,. More tedious, really. A few months back, they slowly diminished in frequency before stopping all together. Setsuna-san cannot interfere with time directly anymore, so Chibiusa-chan is here and cannot return to Crystal Tokyo. At this time, there seem to be doppelgangers appearing from a variety of different universes. There was one who was Diana, but that has been dealt with. Kousagi...is currently possessed, and we have no idea what to do next.”

“Thank you.” She spoke softly. “I’m sure we’ll work well together.”
Setsuna watched Luna attentively. As she begun speaking, the senshi of time didn’t waste any by walking to the kichen and gathering leftover food from when Diana used to visit more often.
Sardines, cat food, and treats.
“I’ll have to make sure to get supplies that will last us.” She murmured, pouring Luna food. “Eat well.”
Hearing the kibble hit the plate, her stomach growled. Turning her head back, drool was dripping lightly from around her maw. Moving over quickly, she began to eat. Having gone a week without food, Luna wasn’t going to pass this up. Within a few minutes, all the food was gone. Luna sighed contently and smiled at Setsuna. “Thank you.”
She started to head for the door again. “The first thing we should do is get the communications set up again. If anything happens, we need to be able to contact everyone, and quickly.”

“I see.” Setsuna’s response was prompt - an acknoweledgment of Luna’s worries, but she didn’t have an exact solution just yet. She watched as the cat sat there, exhausted and clearly distressed by the entire situation.
Luna was trying hard on her own, and it was less than fair to her. Setsuna wanted to care for Kousagi, but in her state of coma, did it really make sense?
“I’m glad you came for help, Luna.” She whispered. “I’ll come over there and take a look. Depending on what it looks like, I might stay with you for a while, if that’s okay.
I believe I can be of use if I join you.” She was still processing every word inside her mind, but paused the process, looking at Luna again. “Have you been taking care of yourself?”
“I am more than okay with you staying an helping. Having two eyes pairs of eyes is much better than one.”
Luna jolted slightly at Setsuna's question, but sighed lightly. There was no point in hiding it. "I have been taking...moderate care of myself." She explained quietly, her tail swishing lightly. “I’ve been so focused on trying to get the systems running again that I have..neglected a few meals. For about a week.”
Her gaze turned to her ally before jumping onto the floor and heading for the door. “But I have been drinking plenty of water, so I’m doing just fine. There are more pressing matters though, so let’s be off.”

“Luna…” Setsuna had spent the morning leisurely taking care of her skin, and body. Indulging in self-care always made her feel like at least part of the world’s problems would go away. As if cleansing herself would keep those ghost away.
She would meet with Kuro for lunch, and maybe some time alone, and later they’d take care of Kousagi.
But Luna seemed weak, thin and worried. Setsuna didn’t have a good feeling about it. “What is it? Please come in, you look tired.”
“Thank you.” She spoke, making her way into the house. She headed to the kitchen and slowly jumped onto one of the stool at the island in the center of the room. She let out a small sigh before turning her head back to the senshi.
“I managed to get some of the computers working, but I can’t access most of our archives and the communication systems are completely down, which is why I came all the way over here myself.” She explained quietly. “But the big issue is that while I got the radar system online, it only kind of works. It’s very buggy, and is hardly accurate. It has been reporting four auras that should not be. These four are exactly the same as Taiki-san’s, Chibiusa-chan’s, Mako-chan’s and believe it or not, Queen Serenity. These auras aren’t present constantly, and the computer tends to restart itself. I don’t know if it’s a glitch, but I can’t fix it by myself. I’ve tried.”

She had no idea how long she had been down there. It had to be about a week at this point. She remembered going home for a night to spend some time with Usagi and to get some food, but she returned to the command center the next morning. While the computers weren’t working 100%, she had managed to get some of them up and running.
With plenty of water, she managed to keep pushing through without food. But enough was enough. She needed to eat, and get help with everything. She headed to the home of the outers, to speak to a very specific ally.
“Setsuna-san, I need your help.”
“Oh, Luna. I didn’t realize it was you.” Rei smiled gently as she relaxed and made room for the feline to take a seat close by her. The only flaw to her meditation was sometimes Rei went too deep and severely detached herself.
“You know you’re always welcome here. Can I get you anything? Or did you just need a refresher from being around Usagi so much?”
“I actually haven’t been around Usagi-chan much lately.” Luna sighed, taking a seat beside Rei and staring at the fire. “I have only been home to eat, and that’s become rare..”
“You’ve been busy with your life, so you haven’t quite heard much. But we’ve been fighting an..unknown enemy. Everything I have researched has come up a dead end. The one thing we know just leads to more questions.” She turned her head to look at Rei. “The enemy is from outside our universe.”
The flames rise high and despite the heat the miko is only inches away. The powerful heat could lick at her skin with the slightest miscalculation but she had no fear. Instead she stayed silent in her prayer, seeking out guidance from the forces beyond the flames.
As she sat the maiden heard the door slide open behind her and footsteps of someone approaching.
“Can I help you?” Rei asks without breaking her position although it would be easy for her to swing around and attack if needed.
“Not the way I would greet an old friend, but I have always been rather traditional with things.” Luna spoke, entering the meditation room where Rei sat. Her eyes fixated on the fire for a few moments before she approached slowly, not wanting to startle the woman.
“I hope you don’t mind me dropping by. I was in the area and after being in our old base for quite some time, I needed some air and some interaction. You were close by.”
“It should be illegal to be this hot and humid..” The feline mumbled to herself as she found a nice shady spot on a wall to stop and rest
For every ➹ I get, I'll put up my muse's current thought about yours.
“Okay, maybe more than sometimes…but hey! It’s good for you! It keeps you younger longer~…”
“Usagi-chan, you’re going to be young for a long time. We know this already.” Luna mumbled to herself.
“ ….should I be concerned? I feel like I should be. Have things been getting weird again? “
‘Yes, actually. I thought you were aware.” Luna spoke, sitting up and watching him. “There have been strange energy fluctuation and Kousagi-chan has been acting extremely odd. Not to mention the poor girl came from a whole other dimension to begin with.”
“It’s nice to just be lazy sometimes, you know,” she chided, giggling softly.
“...Sometimes?” Luna spoke skeptically.
“I just want to relax and have fun, today, Luna! So don’t worrt about doing anything, okay?”
Luna was rather surprised, but she smiled and nuzzled up against the girl. “”Alright, Usagi-chan. Whatever you want.”
