The Montanez Family (SUPER PICTURE HEAVY)

The oldest, most powerful family in Pride River. The Montanez's are known, and most likely feared, by all. Rumored to be a long line of immortal vampires who have had the town wrapped around there finger since day one. This is one family nobody wants to mess with.

Tried setting up a TSR account today but holy shit. Its so buggy and slow. I had to refresh my page every single time I tried to do something, like I had to refresh to add a pfp because it kept crapping itself. Needless to say I will be sticking to tumblr thank you.

Also - It wouldn’t let me upload any images to the singular household I was able to get to upload. The Shields had were “incompatible” with a recent patch even though I made then 2 days ago and my game hasn’t updated? And I literally could not get the Fernán’s to upload because it said the sims3 pack file didn’t contain anything??? fucking bizarre.

A Random Selection of Default Recolors: Subtley Shifted Flowers

As I labor along trying to finish all the various elaborate plant-creations I was silly enough to start, I often (almost always) forget to keep it simple.  It doesn’t take much to change the look of this game.  My eyes burn with the original plant colors.  Intolerable.  So, I fixed some of them.  I could wait until I’d recolored ALL the base game and EP plants before I shared it, but, darn it, that might never happen.  

Here is a small selection of Base Game and EP flowers DEFAULT replacements.  These are just gently recolored to be a bit softer and slightly muted and a bit more vintage-ish looking.  For those of you who like that kind of thing (I do).  The colors are all similar to their original colors, and so they will not clash with any of your existing color schemes.   

More to come, soon, I promise!  I believe the only one here that isn’t base game is the white hydrangea (ambitions), but, honestly, it doesn’t really matter because if you don’t have the EP it won’t do anything for you.  They are all in one package.  Feel free to open it up in S3PE and delete what you don’t want!

Please use these however you like!  No TOU (but credits do help us keep our content straight).

The Fernán's

Eliana Fernán had moved out to the big city of Ruby Butte to pursue her dreams of becoming a singer. There, she had met a young man who she thought she loved. But when he found out she was pregnant with twins Stephanie and Juan, he quickly left. With nothing to her name, Eliana and her tow children moved back into her parents farmhouse in Pride River. Will Eliana get back on her feet? or will she be destined to a simpler life?

The Shields

Mr. and Mrs. Shields are a quiet, but friendly couple living on the edge of the town with there three children in there beautiful, rustic ranch home

Elijah Shields is a troubled veteran looking to find peace amongst the pastures and fields of Pride River. His wife Mable is a true country girl with big hair and a bigger heart. Her kindness and warmth is seemingly just enough to soothe a trouble soul - key word seemingly. They have three children. Ruby, a distant girl who has trouble connecting with either parent. Edward, a rowdy young boy after his father's heart. And Johnnie, a kind, gentle boy with a love for animals. They own a dog and a horse.

The Ghost of the River

First up in the individual homes of Pride River is Miss Blanche Fowler, also known as the Ghost of the River. 

Last of one of the original settling families, Blanche Fowler and her horse Dusty are a legends amongst the residents of Pride River. Many claim to have seen her riding Dusty about the streets at night. She lives in a cabin built back when Pride River was first founded. No one dares go near it, for everyone in Pride River knows its haunted by the girl who drowned in the river so long ago.
