I see a lot of people making posts about how sad they are to see really young kids on here with ED blogs and how terrible it is that their childhood is being taken from them by a eating disorder. And it is fucking terrible!!! It’s so heartbreaking. But I don’t think I’ve ever seen a post about how sad it is seeing people with ED blogs who are like 20 and older, I can only imagine how awful it is to have to be a full adult and hardly be able to take care of yourself because you have so much self-hatred, it’s also heartbreaking because I bet they’ve had an ED for many many years and I bet that shit really fucking drags on. I can’t imagine having my ED past 20 years old, I really hope it doesn’t come to that.

So here’s to all the 20+ adults with eating disorders who are struggling, I don’t think you get enough recognition ❤️
