If nothing else, you have to give Gooseworx and the Amazing Digital Circus crew credit because they're all very online people and 100% had to know that making a show whose basic premise is "what if a bunch of people who are all fundamentally a bit exhausting to hang out with were forced to hang out with each other at gunpoint" was a fandom discourse bomb waiting to happen, and they did it anyway.

TADC strongly suffers from "telling not showing," where characters explain everything to us instead of just showing and letting us figure things out for ourselves. In episode 3, Zooble explains that everyone hates Caine's adventures and why they participate in them; in episode 6, Jax gives a speech about how horrible he is; and in episode 8, Kinger dumps heavy information about Caine and the circus. The heavy amount of telling also makes the characters sometimes feel less human because their dialogue becomes a long explanation instead of an actual conversation.

TADC leaves little room for personal interpretation, because the show is afraid of misconceptions and refuses to trust its audience to understand its writing.
