I love the idea of manager Shane being annoyed/jealous when the farmer talks to Sam super comfortably about the joja mart or anything in general while Sam cleans up the store. Getting extra grumpy cause his #1 customer isn't specifically asking him about things he can answer about the store as well!

Omg I love this ask bc I literally picture this happening. Shane going full over reaction mode because all it took was ONE single time for the farmer to not talk to him specifically and now he’s spiraling 😭

That’s a bold statement. In the movie, Dewey was told that he was a decent guitar player (no mention of his singing capabilities), but his constant showboating was what got him kicked out of No Vacancy. And I think in the musical, Dewey was kicked out for the showboating & because he didn’t look like the rest of the band (they were somewhat tall, athletically built, and had long hair - he’s short, chubby, and has super curly hair), but no one at the time said anything about his talent. Patty calls him “talent free,” but she’s pretty biased against him. We know he can’t write music in either version (case in point, Hardcore), but that doesn’t mean he can’t play music. Or sing.

I did not say he couldn't play guitar or he was talentless, i just meant that he probably has the voice of a dying cat. I firmly believe Dewey is amazing at guitar and probably has well above average skill when it comes to it, I just don't think he could vocally hold a tune to save his life 🙏
