He hardly bats an eyelash despite the pointed glower thrown his way…Or well what he assumes to be one. Cash isn't exactly a sit-still-and-take-it sort of individual, and Damiano is promptly proven correct when heavily accented English follows.

The handler hums, an offhand gesture his charge has some modicum of his attention as he takes a left turn down a dirt road and toward their meeting point. "Depends on the demographic. You're also wearing a ski mask and we were on a public highway." A pause. "The problem is I'm driving an Audi and you look like the SoundCloud rapper I'm dropping off at a low-budget music video shoot." 

"You carpool Karaoke." There's an imperceptible twitch of a scarred upper lip, as he makes another smooth turn and kicks up an impressive amount of dust. The rental car is under another name provided by the employer, he's almost certain it'll be picked up by an errand boy by the latest tomorrow. "I can't possibly see how."

❝ Mate, I dunno what you define as a ski mask...but this is a normal medical mask. Just ain't blue is all. Plenty normal sight to see anywhere that isn't the States, apparently. ❞ Americans were so weird about shit like face coverings. Granted, the tattoos probably didn't help. Cash knew how assumptions worked, knew what people must think looking at him.

Big guy with tattoos and covering half of his face? Yeah, fine. Maybe he made people nervous by just existing. Not his fault. Cassius wasn't exactly a gentle giant, but he wasn't a mean one either. He knew how big he was and just... didn't try and bend to the world around him to make everyone else comfortable.

Cassius at least had the grace and decency to not make a scene about it. He was a professional-—as much as Damiano seemed to treat him as otherwise. Still, he cast a glare for the man, scowled beneath his basic black facemask.

❝ Jus' 'cuz you glimpsed it in my fuckin waistband doesn't mean anyone else would. ❞ he rounded to the passenger side regardless. As much as he COULD throw a fit, Cash was known more for his general ease with just going along with situations.

❝ No one would even say shit. Isn't that the whole thing over here on this side of the pond? A bloke can just free carry a weapon? You yanks and your guns and such. I don't see the problem. ❞ he reached for the seat controls so he could have some amount of leg room and then reached for the seatbelt.

❝ I don't even talk that much. For fuck's sake. The last crew I was part of thought I was a damn mute for the first month. ❞ he was mumbling now under his breath, crossing his arms and looking out the window.

❝ Hide in plain sight. Shouldn't you know this shit? Isn't it your job? ❞ he chances a glance about their surroundings under the guise of stretching. Cash lets his shoulders fall, posture comfortable and loose despite being out of his element and exposed.
