I just realized from that gif set and just thinking in general

Despite the fact that Ethan’s mother neglected him and abused him and manipulated him into thinking he was a monster and should hate what he is...he’d still cry if she died. He’d still feel the need to go to her funeral, to try and make amends because he loves his mother and knows that her hatred is at his late father and I mean Ethan doesnt want to leave the waters rocky and just -- this poor broken man is reverted back to a child when it comes to his mother and I hate it for him but its true.

Things I love about this:

In my bebbeh experience, i’ve noticed that even though bebbehs can’t speak, they understand a TON of words.

Although he’s only a few months old, he already understands the concept of Deception.

He’s also formed a sense of humor. In his own limited way, this bebbeh has just told his first joke.
