Lydia had been wondering what had become of some of the people of Beacon Hills since she’d left. As she walked around the streets of New York, she looked into the windows of the shops and restaurants she walked by when she saw a familiar face. She walked inside the bar. “Peter?” she asked, not saying anything else, curious as to how he would react.

Peter rolled his eyes and looked up, arching a brow. “And here I was thinking I could get away from Beacon Hills a little longer.” he mused. “To what do I owe this sudden visit, Lydia?” he asked, setting his chalk pen down on the board to look at her. “I haven’t done anything even remotely bad enough to warrant any kind of attention.”

Peter was leaning over the counter as he worked on writing the specials for the night on one of the big chalkboards in the bar, the music playing at a normal volume since a great deal of his customers were of the supernatural type. Hearing the door open, he didn’t bother to look up, still working on the board. “We’re not officially open for another half hour. Can I help with something?” he asked.
