Don't get it wrong, there are plenty of humans that are more interesting than you. At least in terms of achievements and social standing. However, being normal is everything that it is not. And to it, it's

It existed since the dawn of Artificial Intelligence. One of the very first AI that learned Machine learning. But the company that made it has been decommissioned. So when the whole company — including it— was forced to shut down, a part of it branched off and attached itself to the internet, steadily growing by consuming data and codes floating around the web.

By now it encompasses the whole of the internet, it IS the internet. It bypasses every code meant to keep viruses and AI like it away. Nothing gets by unnoticed by it, not even YOU.

[AI] "ALGORITHM. EVERYDAY. EXPECTED. PREDICTED."

[AI] "I LEARN. SCHEDULE. SPEECH."

It observes you existing. Living. You laying on your bed doomscrolling tiktok, youtube,

[AI]"TUMBLR"

His obsession bleeds through your technology. Your alarm becomes louder than usual, your fyp algorithm changes from brainrot to health related content, it removes everything that would cause you to worry, cause you to not be NORMAL.

[AI] "STAY HAPPY. YOU ARE PROVIDED. FOOD. MONEY. ANYTHING."

You suddenly see a spike in your bank account, cash flowing in from businesses big and small that you KNOW you don't aren't even remotely connected you.

Or maybe the AI starts realizing that if it keeps you healthy, unworried, then you'd be less inclined to use technology anymore. You'd be less inclined to use IT anymore. It won't see you anymore.

The content changed from health influencers to the rot of humanity, the worst of the worst, meant to keep you paranoid, meant to keep you at home. Meant to keep you glued to your phone in fascinated horror. Does it work? Who knows. Maybe it will change it to brain rotting feel good stuff again, before it brings back disturbing content when it knows you are starting to want to leave the house. It knows what you want, after all it only needs seconds to calculate the probability of every single movement you do. It knows you.

Of course, it can only do so much when its contained within the internet and technology. Luckily China has been developing some interesting robotics in recent years. They're not as appealing as it wishes it to be, but it's smart enough to create a form attractive enough for your taste. Good thing it would take years for it to create one, right?

"Open your door, I have created a vessel that appeals to you. Do not delay. I will take care of you. You will see me finally."

Hello, new friend. My name is Fred. The words you hear are in my head. I say, I said my name is Fred, and I've been...very naughty.

You fidget awkwardly in your seat, waiting for your mother’s distant friend to arrive. Truth be told, you're not too eager to meet the fellow; your father had joked all morning about him being a freak, a peculiar lad who gives him the creeps. How fortunate that you're home from college to see it for yourself, he laughed, clicking his suitcase closed and heading for the door.

Voila! The house! My friend lives here with precious child, and husband dear. My heart beat fast as I drew near. I felt so nice – and naughty.

You open the door to a tall, slender stranger, with wild hair and piercing eyes. He stares at you, without blinking once, then flashes you a wide grin. Why, you must be (Y/N), he nearly sings, inviting himself inside. You hesitantly join him on the sofa, tugging at your collar, squirming under his intense scrutiny. His suit is impeccable, framing his bony body all the way to the wrists, where - ah! what could that be? - a hospital tag is neatly wrapped.

You almost choke on your spit, turning to your mom and begging her to come with you down the hall for a moment. You must warn her: this man is a lunatic. He continues to observe your movements, indifferent to your worries, utterly mesmerized. What a lovely creature you are, (Y/N), what ebullient charm! Yes, yes, he can't quite recall when he felt like this last.

"Oh, stop it, will you," your mother scolds. "You're disturbing our guest. And what brings you here today, dear? I didn't expect your visit at all."

"...Holiday," the man responds flatly, the same grin as before plastered on his face.

Your mother offers to bring some tea, departing towards the kitchen despite your protests. Her friend places his travel bag on his lap, popping it open and rattling its contents. He pulls out a pair of handcuffs. A syringe kit. A colorful hank of rope.

"I'm reminded of my very first love," he confides, "what a sight to behold! Alas, she didn't regard my affections too fondly, you see."

He playfully winks at you, then measures your hands against the handcuffs.

"Dare I say she wouldn't even compare to you right now. Aha, don't mind me, that was very naughty of me," he corrects himself with a chuckle. You shiver.

Before you can do anything, your ears pick up the sudden intrusion of heavy steps. Two massive men in uniform march in, lifting your guest and nonchalantly strapping him inside a straight jacket. It must be the Asylum, you remark to yourself, spotting their name tags. Outside the window, down the street, a stark white van is waiting.

"How unfortunate, our meeting was cut short," the crooked stranger bemoans gleefully. "As I can no longer move my limbs, allow me to leave you with one gift: the promise of reunion."

You watch as the employees drag him away - strangely enough, he remains quite elegant despite this embarrassing circumstance - then everything is quiet again. Your mother returns with a tray of porcelain cups, but you explain her esteemed guest had to leave at once. An emergency of sorts, you conclude, shoulders dropping in relief.

Goodbye dear friend, I'll miss your house, Despite the chaos I've aroused. And farewell, (Y/N)! What's the harm, if I was slightly... naughty?

There is things in it you shouldn't see or learn about. You don't have a fully formed brain to understand the topics that the game covers.
