My father passed away yesterday. He fought harder than I’ve seen anyone fight but didn’t win against Covid with his health. It has been a horrible Christmas, and though normally I’d feel this is a private matter, I wanted to share this, as I know so many of us are going through this. He was a good, hard working man with many morals and admirable qualities. He was a military man and loved us so much. He will be missed more than anyone can imagine. The only thing I can think of good that came out of this, I got to be with him. I got to touch his head and tell him how much I loved him and I got say goodbye. I know many of you had tough times this holiday season and though we may not know each other, know I’m there for you in spirit. I have felt you all with me. The whole #leverage team has been in my corner along with my family from #AlmostParadise as well. I truly hope you get out of this unscathed but if you don’t, or haven’t, my prayers are with you. Please do not take this virus lightly. We are not even close to being out of the woods yet. Please wear your masks. My father hadn’t left the house in 12 mos and still it got in somehow. Stay safe and if I haven’t said it, thank you to all my family and friends who have sent their condolences. You have helped me. Goodbye Dad. I love you and I will miss you.
