I'm glad to meet someone who also likes Luffy being protective towards Sanji. Actually, I still have 2 short comic projects about protective Luffy besides the Lusan high school modern AU that I created before. However, until now, I haven't had the time to finish them.

I want to emphasize that my blog is exclusively dedicated to LuSan only, not SanLu. I don't prefer them being switched.

I've only read one lusan fanfic on AO3 by someone I know. And it was a long time ago. After that, I never visited the site again. I have my own reasons why I don't want to go back there ಥ◡ಥ if you read my bio on the blog description you would understand...

Idk why but i feel like if sanji's trying to hide something from luffy (assuming they only live together in peace, sailing together 😉) he's gonna fly far away from the ships and just stay still on air above the ocean.

Luffy won't bug him because he can't fly and he can't just stretch himself aiming at sanji because he's gonna fall into the ocean. Wdyt?😅😅😅

Sorry, I just checked my inbox and saw this, I apologize for the late response, so- If you were to ask my opinion about it, I would say that it would be easy for Luffy to approach Sanji in the sky. He could use Gear 5th to fly, or even without it, he could still use his stretchy arms to grab Sanji who was up there. at first, Luffy might stay quiet to avoid disturbing Sanji who was contemplating. However, if Sanji stays silent for too long and doesn't come back to the ship, Luffy will get furious. if that happens, I think Luffy would jump up, wrap his arms around Sanji's waist, and lead him back to the ship. Then, he would ask what was bothering Sanji. even if Sanji refused to tell him, Luffy would know that Sanji was hiding something just by looking into his eyes. Because, the bond between them is really that strong. as an example, when Sanji kicked Luffy without any reason in WCI, Luffy just stood there silently and didn't intend to fight back. Even though Sanji didn't explain his troubled feelings at the time, Luffy knew that something was wrong with his beloved cook. That's why he didn't want to fight Sanji at all and kept taking all of Sanji's kicks without flinching. I think that's it. 😄
