Man, it’s kind of surreal that this show is over now. Steven Universe has always been a big part of my life and now that it’s over it feels weird. One day I’ll rewatch the series without the waits and hiatuses, and when that comes I hope I’ll enjoy it just as much as I do now.

The Diamonds in Steven Universe Future

I tried so hard to think of a serious use for Blue’s new power… for all of two seconds.

In all seriousness, I’m glad that the Diamonds (not including Steven of course) are now making legitimate efforts to undo the damage they’ve caused. I only wish that we actually got to see them developing their powers and finding their new purpose, instead of Steven just visiting them one day and they’re all like, “oh hey, check out the cool stuff we can do now.”

Also, somewhat unrelated, but when I saw Blue Diamond for the first time ever, I thought she looked like someone that had stepped out of The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine. With all the drug/weed jokes about her new power, that thought has only been reinforced.
