I gotta love how the entire fandom looked at azure and said "where is his melanin" and then proceeded to bless him with melanin.

While my friend groups design of azure doesnt have curly hair - my personal take on two time does :3. I actually posted my two times family [siblings/parents] the other day because I needed to reblog it to my rp blog for two time.

So I decided to make a little pile of reference sheets - one is quite important for one of my blogs!

This completely unprompted series of drawings is for..Breeze/Two Time - this entire pile is just their family's sheets ordered by age, so let's start with the parents and work our way down the rest of the family.

Okay, so - First up, we have the parents - Fog [left] and Mist [Right], mother and father, respectively - these two are roughly 70. Fog is a peahen who lost half of her right wing in a fight - Mist is a Costas' hummingbird. Yes, they have quite the height difference.

Next up, we have the oldest Daughter - this is Flurry, she's a swan, she's about 40, and is leucistic. Notably, she lives on the heights, away from most of the family [hence the differing background].

Following her, we have the second eldest daughter, Dew, a peacock - she too lives away from most of the family up in a city. She is roughly 36.

Following Dew, we have Drizzle, who was adopted by Mist after the unfortunate passing of his sibling and their partner, leaving behind only their son and the family restaurant owned by the two of them. Drizzle lives outside the compound, closer to the location, so he can learn how to run it most effectively. Drizzle is a chicken. Drizzle is 30!

Whatever happened to you, Breeze? You didn't hatch much later than Drizzle, and yet. You're still only 25.

And now for the first set of twins. Sleet [Left] and Hail [Right], a pair of 24-year-olds who hatched after a [most of the family] trip to the heights - the specific bird they are is native only to the icedagger's spire - if that tells you anything about where that trip had most of its time spent.

Our second set of twins! Thunder [Left] and Lightning [Right], born after a second trip to the heights - these two seem to hold a slight resemblance to a certain electrical bird. They're 16, and certainly moody enough without Lightning's medical conditions making them the pickiest eaters out of the family

Wildfire! The baby of the family, born after a third trip to the heights she sports the specific species of phoenix that makes her weirdly blue; she's leucistic, just like her oldest sister and Breeze! She's 11 and misses the members of her family she hasn't seen in a long time.

I feel like you'd be slightly interested... It will be accompanied by doodles rather than an actual character sheet..

Okay I just woke up, so this may be a little incoherent! I havent gotten to the point of giving them a proper reference sheet yet so we only have doodles.

So I was scrolling the internet and I saw a random phighting post - doesn't matter - and i had a thought, Inphernals are based on gear, theres a lot of gear on the platform, some of it is just stupid.

So I went looking at a bunch of the official roblox gear. And saw plenty of options! I went for something that in no way shape or form seemed dangerous.

Blueberry Pie, one of the fruit pie gears the only thing you can do with those gears is throw them and use them as platforms.

I usually call them either Blueberry or Pie. They're actually very non combative, and fairly recently spawned [less than 8 years ago more than 5, I havent made up my mind] they don't partake in Phights by their own choice, their caretaker is the one signing them up in the hopes they'll be less friendly.

Here's some doodles - not featuring their newspawn doodle unless specifically wanted.

Their horns have a lattice that looks like the covering crust of a blueberry pie, I was told it was okay to do that. And yes those are blueberry plants around their horns - they do grow edible berries.

Anyways, Blueberry Pie here has one job on the field! Area control. They do one thing three different ways, and thats throw pie, normal pie, frozen pie, and extremely hot pie.

Due to the fact they can summon, hold, and throw pies that are bubbling, I have given them enough heat resistance they can throw the hottest pies like frisbees without flinching. They have to wait for their insides to catch up on that front, they managed to burn themselves trying to eat the pie filling at that temperature. But their hands are fine!

Thrown pies that aren't frozen leave puddles that depending on whether it was normal or bubbling can just slow others down [the former] or slow others down and burn them [the latter]. Nonfrozen pies can also hit enemy phighters and blind them, and the bubbling ones leave lingering burn damage - both slow you down because pie filling is sticky. Frozen pies just deal damage, more than the other two do upon initial hit, since its literally just getting a circle of ice chucked at you

And one last doodle - a silly one..

Anyways, they're nicer than they probably should be for this universe - they will just give others pieces of pie since they can use their gear like its a normal, albeit ever regenerating, pie. Infinite pie glitch...

Im gonna say their pronouns are he/they i just got really really used to only using they/them pronouns so it may be a bit before a 'he' is seen referring to them...

Does that happen here - situations where yall feel like every time you look at something else something bad happens? Obviously yall have more control over those situations here but still.

Do you have any tips on people who wanna worldbuild but are indecisive on where to start with? Does one start with the environment the characters living in? Or the inhabitants of those who live in said environment?

Honestly, it just depends on the person. If you are better at making and writing about the inhabitants, then do that first. If not, then do the enviroment.

I am mostly an inhabitant first, enviroment latet kind of person. But what I do is do the character, come up with the enviroment they live in, then redesign the character to better fit the enviroment.

Just remember you can always just go back and adjust some stuff. Trust me, I am always redesigning something😭

In my experience, making the people helps you figure out what the environment must be like. This doesn't just include what plants or weather are in the area, you also need to take a moment to figure out the politics of the area, who leads what, what rules they made, why they made them, etc.

Just as an example, if your world runs on some forms of magic and god shenanigans - what do those gods do or demand of their people?

As an example of this one - in my multifandom fantasy world building project, the gods are split into two categories - those that call themselves Good, and those who were branded Evil for various reasons [including their domain and simply just their species], this actually has no holding on how they behave - most are neutral at best.

Each god has its own problems that affect how they govern their following and the towns that mostly consist of their followers - some gods need put in the ground, again - usually it's trauma, sometimes it's systemic issues they inherited from how their own species is taught to view other species, [the latter you will usually want to kick their teeth in over this].

This was originally going to be longer but I rewrote it twice.
