My hair has the amazing ability to just disappear as soon as a professional camera points towards me I think

Vanessa once again proving she was so full of magic beans because the forget-me-nots I grew from seed for her last year before she passed away are flowering (extremely early btw), and they’re mostly purple, and there’s even a pink one that I noticed today. They’re supposed to be blue broooooooo.

Grief is crazy cause it infiltrates every thought you have. My mom has this peace lily she got when we moved into our current house over a decade ago, and it never flowered after the initial bloom until recently. First, I was excited, but then it’s like wow the last time this thing had flowers my precious girl was still alive and sprite and young.

#I felt the same when my lemon tree bloomed but that made a tad more sense since she always sat under it when I got it last year #like a little lemon tree guardian. but the peace lily used to be on the mantle so not really anywhere she could be near it and it still #feels like it’s connected to her #I know it’s just that I look for her in everything and especially everything beautiful but that’s hard sometimes yknow.#it’s comforting and painful to look for her in the moon and stars and flowers and the sun and moths and pleasant smells and cozy blankets #and just everything.#she’s in everything.#ley unfiltered
