InuKag Week - Day 1: Growth

When I saw these scenes from episodes 2 and FA18, it reminded me of how much Inuyasha and Kagome’s relationship has changed.  In the beginning Inuyasha tried to kill Kagome to get the jewel. Kagome realized Inuyasha was not the hero she thought he was and ran for her life. As time went on, a strong friendship developed between the two of them and eventually they fell in love. Kagome promised to always be by Inuyasha’s side and Inuyasha promised to protect Kagome with his life.

I fell in love with Inuyasha over 10 years ago and the growth of the characters is one of the reasons I still love it after all this time.
