small update on my whimsy silly life bc im always DEAD on here and unmotivated as hell even tho everything has been sitting in my drafts for the past month …. 💔
• just saw bts in vegas and ended up going 3 days out of the 4 bc i had insane fomo (but worth!!!) (never thought i would hear danger, spine breaker, attack on bangtan, boyz with fun EVER in this life time)
• job hunting is gonna be the death of me like actually (did not get the job 💔) (thinking abt going back for my masters just for this reason)
• hbd to the loml forever lee donghyuck (YAY)
• back to playing genshin bc my coworkers but ugh i love this game (sometimes)

you wake up with a headache, a dry mouth, and the unsettling realization that this definitely isn’t your bed.
there’s warmth behind you. the warmth behind you is solid, slow-breathing, and very much alive. when you shift slightly, a familiar arm tightens around your waist.
yup. it's not your bed. it's not your room.
and the body pressed up against yours? also, very much, haechan.
you don’t open your eyes right away. you just lay there, cheek pressed to his bare chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his breathing. his heartbeat is too rapid for someone who’s sleeping.
you peek through one eye, staring at his disheveled hair sticking up in five different directions. his leg is still tangled with yours.
he doesn’t say anything. so you do.
“... your bedhead is insane.”
“you’re literally drooling on me.”
“oh, shut up. you liked it last night.”
that gets him.
he chokes. literally chokes.
you bite your lip, trying not to laugh. your brain is still barely functioning, your whole body is sore in places you don’t remember bruising, and yet somehow… this is the most at peace you’ve felt in days.
“hey.”
you glance up at him. his eyes fixed on the ceiling like he’s thinking too hard.
“do you think…” he starts, but trails off. “is this still just a one-time thing?”
that snaps the haze right out of your head. you blink at him.
“... what?”
“nevermind. i sound stupid. ignore me—” he groans into his hands.
“no, wait.” you cut in quickly, propping yourself on your elbow.
he glances at you, a little defensive. like he’s already bracing for you to brush it off or make a joke.
you could, but you don’t want to.
“no. i don’t want it to be just once.”
his face doesn’t change right away. then his expression changes slowly, as if the realization is sinking in one layer at a time.
“i knew it. you like me.”
you let out the most exasperated groan of your life. “oh my god. i literally hate you.”
“you like meeee. you want to date me so bad—”
“haechan.”
“sooo… does this mean i can kiss you again or what?”
“van you stop before I knock you out with this pillow?”
he just laughs.
you hate that he’s grinning. you hate that you’re smiling back.
and you really, really hate that you already want to kiss him again.

after being taken away from the shackles of college... ur girl has done it... im officially a college graduate 😭 turned in my last final and IM FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE this just feels so surreal to me... a lil bittersweet but jesus FUCK why was my last sem so hard omfg goodbye undergrad 4ever
