Larapinta Trail NT. Walked over 80 kms through red, dusty desert seeing only a few souls along the way. Camped in freezing temperatures but the sunny clear days made up for it. Our guides spoilt us with delicious food and made sure our hike was unforgettable. Our country is so special and beautiful….we are so lucky. #larapintatrail #desert #northernterritory

Decided that it's time to break in the new hiking boots in anticipation of my six day Larapinta trek coming up soon. So I have devoted Sundays to walking this beautiful city for hours each week to prepare. This week I chose to walk to Kirribilli across the bridge and through the Botanical Gardens. Our harbour is so spectacular even on a cold cloudy day. It was the first time ever I have walked the bridge eventhough I have lived in Sydney my whole life. A great thing to do and the elevated view of the city was amazing.

The China Club is full of old world charm and is like stepping in to another era. There’s an old school band playing traditional Chinese music and white jacketed waiters running between tables. There is the BEST collection of art in any public place ( outside a gallery) I’ve ever seen. You could spend hours wandering through this place.

I love the area around Hollywood Rd and the surrounding lanes. It's full of cool shops, galleries and cafes with gorgeous old buildings. Worth at least a day of exploring! #hongkong
