I'm sorry to all the random people I've booped today. We've never interacted before, and we might not interact after this as well.
But the boop... it beckons me. Haunts me. I must act or I might suffer the consequences of my inactions.
This year's storm of snowflake! They're going to a friend in her advent calendar
Kitty ankle socks for a very dear friend!
Another pair of socks! Somehow, all I wanna do at the moment is knitting stockinette while watching TV
A giant shawl made entirely from yarn I spun on my hand spindles. 27 Mini Skeins, 1/2 of a skein and 4 full 100g skeins. Some parts are soft, others are a bit scratchy. But it’s very, very warm.
An old WIP, only three weeks shy of it’s 4th birthday. I started the first sock before I learned that I twist all my purls, so one sock has twisted stitches in the ribbing and the heel flap.
Extra cozy bed socks knitted with normal sock yarn held double. They’re keeping my feet toasty!
This year’s snowflakes! Already on their way to their new home!
A pair of thick warm socks!
Self-striping yarn knitted into a cozy self-striped scarf! Got the yarn two or three years ago on a vacation.
A selection of last years snowflakes!
Currently tackling my cheap, thin cotton yarns I bought ages ago for sole reason that I could afford them. I’m making potholders of them, with the yarn held double. They’re huge and thick so hopefully my days of burnt fingers are over.
I made a sloth planthanger/pot. It houses a tillandsia without a pot, but could fit a tiny potted plant. This one hangs from metal hoop standing on a base. I made another one, which hangs from a piece of tree branch. I liked the look of the branch better, but forgot to take a picture before giving it away.
A super easy and quick cabled headband. Knitted from bulky yarn on 10mm needles.
A pair of socks for me!
Started them sometime last yearand finally got around to finish them. I used Regia Pairfect Rainbow Color sockyarn and an afterthought heel to keep the rainbow stipes uninterrupted. I’ve only used a heel flap with a gusset before and was a bit worried that a sock with no gusset might be a bit tight, but they fit well on my feet.
Finished another project during lockdown. This time the simple Sockhead Cowl. The yarn was the first handdyed yarn I’ve ever bought: 100% merino in the colour “Tulpe”, my favourite flowers. I started this project ages ago and picked it up several times. Every time I did my tension/gauge apparently changed and led to a different type of pooling. The colour is a bit washed out in the project pics, the hank is more true to the actual colour. I’ve already worn it around the house and it’s cozy and warm.
