My photography work live in the UK for Anita Hlazo and Afrogrunge . As part of NOWGallery Human Stories: A Young South Africa group exhibition. S/O to Anita and the lovely team for bringing this to reality.

Elevator to the Gallows (1958) directed by Louis Mallé. Just finished watching it now at 5:10 am 2nd best film I watched this year together with Pixote. Damn I am moved. Miles Davis score is hauntingly beautiful.

A brief photo montage assembled with photographs I shot on 35 mm in my neighborhood of Nyanga East. After watching clips of people having to walk from the CBD to the location today due to the abrupt taxi strike leaving them neglected without any alternative transportation. It was deeply heartbreaking and I was just compelled to create a sort visual mantra that imbues our continuous strength, beauty and courage. As suffering is not something we not accustomed to.

Hi. I found your work while struggling for inspiration ( I still am). I have to say your work is beautiful and it's amazing to see how you have progressed. What keeps you going?

Hey, thank you so much for the message and the kind words. Don't sweat it, the inspiration comes and goes, but no matter how dull things get, never forget that you are the source. Maybe it's just time to fill your cup up so when it's time to create, you'll have so much more to give. Take it easy and don't lose sight of why you do what you do. Life comes with it's ups and downs and we are only human so really, don't sweat it. It will come again.
