I love to draw and I have so so many oc’s!

Im going to college to become a Character Designer (hopefully for a well paying company, what can I say? I want that $ 😛)

Some more OC art in the Elemental universe! (also i edited the lineart for the full body for a colouring sheet but i was too lazy to redo the colouring)

Windcutter (Taissa) is the counterpart to Thunderbird (Sky). She believes that holding a Diadem is a privilege only a few people hold, and doesn’t see Sky as worthy as they didn’t grow up with their heritage like Taissa.

Tai isn’t necessarily in the wrong for believing this, as she grew up with different beliefs. However she is written in the antagonist position in Sky’s origin story.

She also can turn into a bird with her diadem, unlike Sky who becomes more like their human/bird ancestors, with a human form and bird wings.

Her inspiration is heavily based on Native American culture just like Sky. However her bird form is a Lanne Falcon, a prominent predator in Africa. Falcons also being a symbol of the struggle for balance, justice, and kingship in Kemetic Religion.

Taissa has a unique devotion to her heritage, wanting to keep it pure and safe from outside meddling. Hence her antagonistic attitude toward Sky holding a Diadem.

She was given the name Windcutter for her ability in her falcon form to fly against the wind with ease. She also has a unique ability to seemingly bend and cut the wind to her will.

Taissa and Sky’s heritage comes from a planet just outside of our solar system. A unique world where a civilization of bird people lived. Their bodies contained a sort of magic allowing them to fly and control the wind. Billions of years passed by and their star began to pass through its final phases. Leaving their planet to cool down so much their civilization started to die out. Their people thrived under the suns power, without it their magic began to dim. In order to preserve it, as their people’s final wish. They put their magic into diadems. Their people’s final searched for the closest star to inhabit before coming across Earth’s solar system. Only a few hundred inhabited earth, their magic still stored in their diadems. They used their magic to help build structures to try and direct the suns power to their home planet. By the time they were completed generations had passed and their heritage was almost completely lost, merged into the earth people’s culture and now history. In present times these diadems have been found and returned to a small group of their descendants who found themselves able to utilize some of the magic still held inside.

Both Sky and Tai were gifted a diadem, for different reasons, and both connected to the magic held inside.

My favorite thing about Oc’s is I can draw some of them from pictures of me because we share similar features.

One of them in particular used to be a self insert so she’s partially easy to draw based on pics of me…
