Testing out a minimalist HUD view also for cockpit view. Now all your crucial information are displayed on the projection HUD and the radar is on your MFD.

Not much to show yet but I’m back and basic menus are now working. I will need to do some serious ideaguying before I can make real progress, though.

Our game is turning out better than I expected and I’m feeling pretty good right now, so have a pic of the battles without hud or menus.

More work on templar kit plus minor internal fixes. EDIT: Tumblr fucking murders the quality of the vid, it’s a pity because the fire aura looks gorgeous.

Finally a few free hours today, so time for shaders!

I got some examples from the love2d forums and after some studying I think I get the basics. Currenty messing with a crt filter that doesn’t fit at all but could be useful in the future.

New templar ability, “hands of deception”

I have some really cool ideas for a wizard but I didn’t want to go full generic fantasy, so I came up with this guy in pyjama robes clearly inspired by the classics but with it’s own twist, that sadly won’t make it into the game.

Sorry for the spam today but I won’t be able to make much progress the next few days, so this will be my last post for now. Maybe.

Changed the tiles and put back the placeholder backgroud from Google images(until I make my own) which made me realize the difference it can make in how good everything else looks. Also, the robot has been half implemented and is now an OP as fuck hybrid of the 2 characters.

Bonus pic of the assets at native res, which look infinitely better (and even more in motion), but would require a 2k monitor to be playable due to reduced fov.

Turns out Tumblr butchered the framerate and you can’t see the statue spin in the last vid. Have a happy robot instead ^^

It’s a feature!

Basic idea of the robot’s ultimate implemented, though it’s nowhere near finished. This thing is going to be cool as fuck when I’m done with it.

Smaller, corrected posture and no plug this time. I think I liked him more before but it’s missing something in any case. Maybe antennae and a jetpack? could be fun gameplay wise (though I might be getting into 40k Tau territory at this point).
