Irene Adler - Sherlock, Lupin & Me
Arsène Lupin - Sherlock, Lupin & Me
Sherlock Holmes - Sherlock, Lupin & Me
Thinking about Sherlock being so sure that Irene is in love with Arsène that he actually comes up to her to tell her he knows about her feelings. Him not even bothering to talk about how Arsène feels because he knows he's in love with Irene. Sherlock actually coming up to Irene after to apologise and say he misunderstood the situation. Him and Arsène getting into a fight the next day and Irene completely avoiding asking what it was about. They're just the most insane trio of all time.
i was bored so i wrote a fic about this. if anyone is reading this, enjoy!

I can't love anyone else, Jo. I only love you... I love you, Jo.

Rue and Jules euphoria
“Why should a French or a German citizen be born with access to world-class services and well-protected rights (actual implementation on the basis of minority status may differ), while a Somalian citizen is not only denied those things, but also faces huge obstacles in becoming a citizen (or even a resident) of anywhere else? If you are born a citizen of Japan, there are 190 countries you can travel to freely without a visa; if you are a citizen of Afghanistan, there are only 25. If you are born a U.K. citizen, and feel like a change of scene, you can pay $7 for permission to go to Canada, hop on a flight, and stay for up to six months without anyone bothering you. If you are born in a refugee camp, it can take years before you even get a chance to live in a place like Canada. So how can we possibly consider ourselves to be people who care about freedom and autonomy, when thanks to borders our destinies are practically assigned to us at birth? Is it absurd to form your own state? Or is it more absurd to have states in the first place?”

This is the painting that inspired the deeply creepy ghost story The Strike of Eight, by EdwinRika!
just realised I never actually posted on tumblr when it's the best place to rant about my niche interests and never be bothered by anyone

There is no such thing as a victimless museum heist because museum heists are robbing from the people to give to the ultra-rich
You are the victim. I am the victim. We are all the victims
Thank you for coming to my TED talk
(also no repatriation is very much not the same thing as a heist, and while repatriation heists are a fun idea in fiction, in real life they would just put the original country in legal trouble regardless of whether that is just or not. So people repatriate through official channels to avoid that, because if you care enough to give things back, you care enough to not want the people you're trying to give them back to in hot water)
"eat the rich!"
"this amazing work of art that had been on display for the public to enjoy will now be sold to a rich person who will put it in their private vault forever"
"oh well that's fine I guess :)"
Like do you guys hear yourselves
