I had a lot of things happen in real life that forced me to back off from the game for a while. After some reflecting, I talked with the other admin, Nicole, and convinced her to help me make a fresh start with a new roleplay. There are SO MANY characters open.
This game is starting AFTER the sixth season, the end of the show, but for plot purposes we’re keeping Jenny alive. Dana is also going to be in the game.

Biography: Arabella grew up in a highly dysfunctional family. She didn’t exactly think it was anything abnormal though. Everybody had messed up families right? Her mother had a problem with alcohol and prescription drugs and her father was a workaholic, which may have had something to do with the secretary he was fucking at the office. At the age of sixteen Arabella found out, she tried to make him stop but he wouldn’t. And before she knew there family was falling apart. Her older brother had already gone off to college, leaving her alone to pick up the pieces. Around the time she turned seventeen, she decided she wanted to get out of this place. She got two jobs and began saving money to move to LA. Once she turned nineteen, after making sure her mother wouldn’t fall apart without her, she set off for her new life. She’s a photographer, but would much rather be in front of the camera. She wants to be a model but is finding out it’s a lot harder to get into the industry then she thought. She’s now twenty years old, working as a photographer for a magazine and lives in an apartment with her boyfriend Derek. Money is a little tight, and she’s sick of leaning on her boyfriend financially so she’s looking for a second job. Her relationship with Derek is highly strained. Not only is he her first official boyfriend but he can also be abusive in the privacy of their own home.
Unlike the other anon I love all the sharmen role play, I appreciate the fact that for once Tina and Bette aren't the center of attention
To each their own, anon! The pairings and activity are based on their players. We can’t and wouldn’t regulate how often people want to para or who they want to pair their own characters with.
Thank you for your positive feedback! Unfortunately, it’s impossible to please everyone. There are plenty of Sholly/Shenny fans and Tasha/Alice and Jodi/Bette fans out there who might not like the direction of our roleplay.
The point is that we base our game off plot, not pairings. :)
I love your roleplay, but you guys seriously underuse Bette and Tina. You could have an entire blog devoted to the two of them having sex, and you'd have a million followers. Not everyone is interested in Sharmen. :\
Hello anon! Haha yes, we would love more Bette and Tina action! There's only so much we can do as admins other than regulate the posting requirements for each player. We can't request sex scenes; not all players are comfortable. However, we recognize that other pairings garner just as much (if not more) interest than others. We try to be inclusive to all characters, but if you have any suggestions, please let us know!!- Admin Kate
Would you accept Rita volk as a fc? She looks super young but she's actually 23.
Of course! As long as your fc is over 18, we are so flexible and willing to work with our players. We understand how strong a muse can be!!! Looking forward to your app!!- Admin Kate
Are you currently accepting OCs? If so, how would you feel about an Olivia Wilde face claim?
Yes we are! We would LOVE her as an OC!!!! Send us in a bio!! We'll be happy to give feedback and we'll also get her integrated so easily!! Looking forward to your app!!! - Admin Kate
Pretty much screamed when I found this rp. It's beautiful. Just wondering, I'm creating an OC as we speak and was wondering which fc you'd prefer. Kat Prescott, Nina Dobrev, Willa Holland or Misscha barton?
All of those OCs sound lovely. We want you to create a character you can relate to! Pick the fc you feel most accurately portrays your muse!!!
In Lez Girls, Jennifer Schecter penned a lush, magical world where the characters of her imagination possess the most universal of desires and exceptional of talents. In this provocative short story, an Italian temptress seduces a naive woman and then introduces her own secret lover; a mysterious make-up artist with a dark past engages in numberous not-so-private trysts with catastrophic consequences; and a bisexual gossip columnist is so involved with the lives of others that she neglects her own. Lez Girls is an extraordinarily rich and exotic addition from a rising author of erotic writing.
Heat.
Surrounding Los Angeles were hot deserts, brimming with mirages that reflected all the way to the city in the form of bright lights, neon signs, and gorgeous women. The streets ran rampant with the counterculture, a shock to most, but especially those who lived South of the Mason-Dixie line.
Jessie was a stranger to new experience. She grew up surrounded by comforting lies, a coping mechanism she would eventually adopt herself. Her first experience in the forward-thinking state was like she had been dunked in ice cold water. The women she came to know would become integral to her life, but they also signaled the start of her slow, spiraling descent.
Shawn was a woman of narrow interests. Women were her one obsession, and she broke hearts just as much as she broke promises. With her lanky grace and careless attitude, she was the epitome of who you should never date. Even getting close to Shawn was dangerous. Karma, Shawn’s long-suffering girlfriend, seemed to enjoy the drama just as much as she enjoyed flaunting the eye candy, and never took her share of the responsibility.
Whoever managed to snag Shawn for longer than a one night fling was bound to be the most envied girl in West Hollywood. Even Holly, a supposedly intelligent girl bound for medical school, fell hook, line and sinker.
Elise, Shawn’s best friend, spent most of her time pining over a woman she would never get back. She lived in the past and her fashion sense reflected it, despite being surrounded by top designers. For someone so involved in everyone else’s business, it was surprising she never managed to pick up on social cues. Elise was neck high in gossip and innuendo, her blog chockfull of information she clandestinely gathered from other people in her own twisted form of entertainment. Donna, her ex, was a hot topic, even though her brief, pathetically closeted time in the spotlight was long over. It was lucky for Elise that she had a friend like Elena, a rich manipulator who bought and sold love and favors.
Nina and Bev were the golden couple, the ones everyone aspired to be like…at least on the outside. Brimming under the surface was an ugliness that was slowly cracking into their everyday lives. Tension was high and the truth was showing its ugly face. Nina might happily bury her head in the sand, but even she wouldn’t be able to look away once Bev’s true colors were revealed. A cool, professional power dyke, Bev couldn’t be trusted in the office or at home. She wanted a housewife and Nina was pleased to provide one, so the arrangement worked for both of them.
Caroline and Tiffany were their counterparts: a younger, hipper couple with actual problems brewing underneath a calm surface. Caroline was a model, but also an overachiever who devoted hours to her craft and left little time for her girlfriend. Tiffany, a struggling artist, obviously didn’t meet her high expectations and was feeling the pressure.
But none of them were anything compared to her.
Karina.
A lascivious viper who preyed on women, she used her words instead of her body. Karina was seductive and vulnerable, provocative and serpentine, and her ambition led her down a dark path. She seemed to have little conscience or self-awareness; the ends justified the means. This woman would ultimately push Jessie to the brink of sanity and send them both topping over the edge.
Shane was a few minutes late to her own party, but had honestly lost track of time trying to find a letter she'd misplaced somewhere in the room she had shared with Carmen. Many of her things were still there and she still expected her to come back, at some point, and the thought made her hesitate to leave the house. When she finally did get to the bar she was let in with a cursory glance over, and made her way to the bar to look for Alice.
Alice had been sitting at the bar for around 10 minutes, and so far she hadn't seen anyone. She wasn't too worried as she'd practically invited all of LA, so somebody was bound to show up soon enough. The blonde ordered herself another beer and took a look around - she squinted a little as she noticed a mop of black hair walking towards her. Smiling, she held out her arms to the familiar sight. "Well look who it is! Happy birthday ya big gay. Here, let me buy you a drink. Or seven. I wonder if anyone else has turned up yet..."
Dana Uncomfortable, Dana snagged a drink off the closest tray and carefully made her way to the bar. As soon as she saw Alice she made a beeline, relieved that she wasn't the first one here. "Hey! Happy Birthday, Shane!" She tried to sound more chipper, given the circumstances, but Carmen's absence was hard to ignore. "What are you drinking??"
Shane: "I'm laying off for now." She waved away the offer of alcohol, but did accept a glass of something non-alcoholic. "Hey... thanks, Dane. It's uh... water." Shane glanced between Alice and Dana, then tried to steer the conversation away from what they were all thinking. "Haven't seen you guys in a while, what's been going on?"
Jenny Even though she was supposed to wait for Marina to get off work, Jenny didn't feel like missing out on seeing her friends. She sent a text telling Marina she was going to meet her at the club instead, and parked in the VIP area at the front of the club. She stuck her hand in the air as soon as she caught sight of Shane, Alice and Dana, eagerly slipping past people. "Hi! Sorry I'm late!"
Jenny: ((jenny is like that friend that shows up and everyone is like "......ugh......"))
Lexy Price: walked into the brand new club and eyed the room for people she recognized. Running her hands down her arms, she headed for the bar. Taking a beer from the bartender, she sat down and tried to enjoy the music.
Frankie was already at the bar and had downed a few drinks, waiting for Cat to join her. She'd just finished taking some promotional photos for the opening of the club. When Lexy sat down she blinked, then laughed softly and gave her a nod. "Hey."
Jenny: ((I made Jenny already bust in like a diva))
Dana: (No dogs were injured yet.)
Lexy Price: felt her face go red. "Oh my god. Hi!" Reaching to hug Frankie, Lexy put her beer down. "I was looking for a familiar face, but I didn't think it'd be yours. How've you been?" Lexy couldn't hold back her smile
Frankie wasn't the hugging type or really good with friends, but Lexy was one of the few exceptions. She smiled faintly, but the gesture was forced. "Alright, I guess. What about you? How're you and uh... Sam, yeah? How's that?"
Tess: After a decent first date with a beautiful girl, Tess was practically beaming when she entered the club Frankie had told her about just a few hours ago. She scanned the crowd, saw a few people who looked familiar, but couldn't quite place where she knew them from.
Cat walked up to Frankie and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Hey," she said solemnly. "Lexy, hi. How have you been?" Cat asked, in an unusually cheerless tone.
Lexy Price: picked up her beer and took a long sip. "Yeah, we were. Things uh. They've been put on hold." Scanning the room to avoid any questions, Lexy saw Tess and waved her over.
Lexy Price: "Oh hi." Lexy hadn't seen Cat in quite a while. She hadn't old her anything about Sam, but she figured Tess might have. "I'm well. How're you?"
Marina walked into the new club, already slightly annoyed that Jenny had arrived without her. After the previous night's events, she wasn't surprised. She saw Jenny sitting with their friends, and waved quickly.
Tess caught sight of Lexy's arm and quickly went in that direction, only pausing when she saw Cat and Frankie interacting together. "Hi!" She said breathlessly, casting a glance over her shoulder. "Brilliant security they have, isn't it? Woulda thought I'd brought a whole army in here with me, the way he looked me over."
Frankie's gaze flickered to Cat briefly, but before she could say anything to her, Tess was there and saying something about the security. "Yeah. It's new and all, I guess." She gestured to the camera on the bar, then looked back at Lexy. "So on hold, huh? Sorry to hear that." She took about her seventh shot of vodka, avoiding Cat's gaze entirely.
Cat "Good, good." Cat smiled at Tess's arrival. For a moment, she felt like she was home. That all of the shit that had happened was just a bad dream. She was surprised to hear that Sam and Lexy were on hold. Tess had just told her about them. Cat leaned forward and gave Tess a hug. "I miss you, friend."
Lexy Price: forced a smile and nodded. "You and Frankie are still together, I see," Lexy said.
Tess: "Well, I miss you too!" Tess patted Cat's back, then hesitated and squeezed her extra tight. She could sense the tension in the air. Frankie practically reeked of alcohol. For once, she wasn't the awkwardness in the group. "So um, on hold? What's on hold? I hope you're not talkin' about the alcohol."
Alice looked at Shane in disbelief. "Oh, come on! You have to drink! It'll help with all the... the shit that's been going on." She smiled at Dana before noticing Jenny. "Hey Jenny! Uhm, Marina still coming?"
Alice: (OMG I DIDN'T FINISH WAIT)
Jenny: (("And then Alice punched Jenny in the face."))
Alice However, before Jenny could give her an answer, Alice caught sight of Marina waving. "Ah! Nevermind. Seems she's heading over now." Taking a sip of her drink, she smiled warmly. It'd been too long since they'd all been together.
Shane "I'm, I'm just... trying to keep it together for right now. Drinking never does me any good." The bartender was already pushing a shot in her hand, which Shane accepted but then slid to the side when she saw Jenny. "Hey, Jen."
Jenny "Oh, Shane, just take a fucking shot! It's not worth it!" Jenny started to answer Alice, but then saw Marina and gave her a bright smile... as if nothing had happened the previous night. "Marina! Come tell Shane to have a shot."
Dana "What does drinking have to do with what happened to Carmen?" Dana asked bluntly, but only loud enough for Alice to hear. She only knew about half of the story, but she was pretty sure that they didn't break up over vodka.
Marina stood at the table, eyeing Jenny. "Shane, have a shot," Marina said blandly.
Lexy Price: "Sam and I are on hold," Lexy said in a hushed tone. She was trying to avoid questions, so she ordered another beer
Frankie nodded, her gaze lingering on Lexy, but then she looked back down at her glass and also fell silent. She knew when not to push, and she didn't care enough about Sam to even wonder where she could be.
Cat nodded. "Yes, we have reconnected again, thankfully," Cat said, looking out the corner of her eye. "She's my one and only," she said, brushing Frankie's arm with her hand.
Jenny "That's the spirit." Jenny smiled and approached Marina, wrapping both arms around her from the side. "You took forever."
Marina leaned in to whisper in Jenny's ear. "You never answered my calls after you left last night. Is this really where we are in our relationship? You just storm out and ignore me?"
Tess: Unlike Frankie, Tess had about a million questions as to the "on hold" and what it meant and why they were on hold and how it applied to being together if one was "on hold", but all she could manage was an awkward throat clearing. Thankfully Cat and Frankie's interaction topped her awkwardness easily. "Er…Sorry to hear that, um, so, round of drinks, everyone? Feel like drinking? What should we toast to? Let's toast. Lo--er, friendship? Can't argue friendship, c'mon."
Alice leaned towards Dana. "You'd be surprised. I guess she's right, we've all seen what impact it's had on things before. But we'll look after her." Smiling awkwardly, Alice looked at Marina and Jenny, sensing trouble. "Soooo, how's things with you two? Been up to much lately?"
Lexy Price: Lexy nodded and forced a smile once again. "I haven't seen either of you in such a long time. I definitely need to catch up with the both of you." Eyeing Tess, Lexy decided that she wanted to talk to Frankie alone, but needed a reason to get her away from Cat. "Frankie, want to dance? I'm sure Tess and Cat have a lot to talk about."
Dana Raising an eyebrow, Dana kept an eye on Shane even though her attention was also caught by how lovey Jenny looked and how awkward Marina was by comparison. "Hey yeah, aren't you guys living together now?"
Jenny frowned and looked at Marina with her brows knitted together, as if what she said made no sense. "I'm not ignoring you! I was working. Now we're here." She smiled at Alice and Dana and shrugged, then looked at Marina as if they had a secret. "Well... I didn't want to say anything tonight, because it's Shane's birthday and it's her time in the spotlight."
Shane waved her hand quickly. "No, please, just.... take me out of the spotlight. I don't need to be in the spotlight."
Alice "Spotlight? Oh my god, what's happening with you two? Spill the beans!"
Frankie did look at Cat when she said that, but her expression was nothing but sad and worn. When Lexy offered a dance she looked away, then nodded and slid off the barstool. "Yeah." She downed the rest of her shot and then offered her hand so she could lead Lexy to the floor.
Marina looked up to the ceiling, sensing this was not going to be resolved. Not tonight, anyway. "Fine, I guess we can gloss over it for tonight."
Dana "Oh no, I didn't just ruin it or anything, did I?" Open mouth. Insert foot.
Jenny "You didn't ruin anything, Dana." Jenny pointedly ignored Marina's comment, but continued smiling at her as if she were the best thing in the world. "I'm getting a story published in the New Yorker. It should come out in the next few days."
Cat: watched as Frankie and Lexy headed for the dance floor. She turned to Tess immediately. "Oh my God Tess, I fucked up royally. I haven't been alone to call you, and I didn't want to text it. I slept with Shane." There. It was out.
Lexy Price: "Okay, her claws are out of you. What's wrong?" Lexy kept her face neutral while talking, feeling Cat's gaze.
Tess spit her drink out all over the bar. "WHAT?" She choked. Stopped. Coughed. Hacked. "Sh-What? Shane? WHAT? WHY?"
Alice looked at Jenny and fake smiled. "Congratulations! What kind of story is it?"
Marina forced a smile. "I am so proud of her for getting published in such a prestigious magazine. Her talent is amazing." She hoped Jenny would clue her friends in on the material before the story came out, but that was not a given. Jenny thought she did absolutely nothing wrong.
Dana "Wow! That's like a big deal too, isn't it?" Dana nodded along, looking interested even though she didn't even get past the second page of Jenny's first book.
Shane "That's fantastic, Jen," Shane said sincerely, and handed off a second shot that had magically appeared in front of her.
Cat almost jumped across the table. "I don't fucking know! I saw Frankie and Carmen all over each other at Hit, and I panicked, and went home with Shane, and got high, and we ended up having sex! I am such an asshole!"
Frankie smirked faintly, tossing her head to get a few pieces of hair out of her eyes. "That obvious, I guess, isn't it?"
Jenny "Well, it's actually inspired by my experiences in Los Angeles. It's about a girl who comes from a small town to the big city. You know, a coming of age story." Jenny kissed Marina on the cheek, as if believing her girlfriend was completely supportive of the venture.
Lexy Price: "Isn't it always? So what's been going on?" Lexy pushed her hair out of her face, realizing that she had left it down.
Tess: "Oh my GOD, Cat!" Tess cast a frenzied glance at Frankie and Lexy, even though they seemed preoccupied. "But she knows. Obviously she knows. It's like tension thick as knife in here, I swear it, as soon as I walked in. What's gonna happen? Are you staying together? Why SHANE? I thought…wasn't she getting married?"
Marina nodded along. "We're all in it, sort of. She told me her characters were inspired by us. Wait until you read it." Marina looked over at Jenny, to see if she still thought it was all perfectly fine.
Frankie felt like it would be wrong to talk about what happened with Cat with Lexy, but also knew that Lexy wasn't really close with her girlfriend. "We're just havin' some trouble. Same as you and Sam, yeah? On hold. But together."
Alice smiled at Marina with a concerned frown also on her face. "It-it's not bad is it?" Jokingly, she turned to Jenny. "Pfft, you wouldn't do that right?"
Cat swallowed hard, vowing not to cry. "She was getting married! And now she's not. It was the stupidest thing I have ever done. I finally have the love of my life in my grasp, and I fuck it all up. Yes, she knows. I couldn't keep that from her. She beat the shit out of Shane. Carmen beat the shit out of me. It was a fucking circus."
Marina stayed silent for a moment. She cautiously chose her words. "The writing was superb."
Jenny "Of course it isn't! But it isn't really any of you. It's fiction, so," Jenny waved away Marina's comment, as if simply stating that the story wasn't real would completely absolve her of any wrongdoing.
Shane "Huh." Shane was still listening, but was more focused on trying to snag another lemon from behind the bar. "Sounds good."
Dana "Wait, it's not like…ABOUT us, though, right? Like." Dana shifted awkwardly. "You don't have names in there or anything?"
Tess: "WHAT??" The idea of Cat getting beaten up was stunning, so much so that the rest of Tess' drink was downed in one go just so she could get the next sentence out without stuttering. "Frankie beat up Shane? Oh my god, where the fuck was I?" She was at Lexy's. Watching a movie. "Jesus Fucking Hell…Oh, my god. What are you going to do?? She's about to drink herself into a coma."
Marina scoffed loudly. "No! Your names aren't in there! That section is about Elise and Donna!" Marina said, with a smile.
Lexy Price: "Is it fixable?" Lexy didn't want to pry, but she knew how Frankie wouldn't answer anything unless asked. "More permanent than temporary, but it's okay. We haven't spoken and I suppose it'll be that way for a while."
Jenny "None of your names are in it." She cast a quick look to Marina, frowning. "It's not really you." Jenny stressed the last bit especially, trying to avoid possible trouble.
Cat shrugged. "I don't know what the hell to do. I've apologized a thousand times. I told her I was a bloody fool and I would never hurt her again. I don't know what else to do. Have you talked to her at all?" Cat could feel the familiar panic growing in her chest. The thought of losing Frankie was tearing her apart.
Frankie: "Sorry," Frankie said genuinely, even though she didn't give a fuck about Sam. "And yeah... eventually, yeah. I love her, so... I forgive her. Just can't stop thinkin' about it, is all. It's all there."
Tess: "No! She's been all…." Tess did an exaggerated version of Frankie's blank and broody stare. "So no. Haven't. Not one bit. She's like a wall, you know that. You're the only one who's ever gotten her to open up for real."
Alice caught on quickly. She eyed Jenny, and looked nervously at Dana. "I think I'm gonna go get a drink..." She turned away without explanation, walking towards the other side of the bar angrily.
Lexy Price: "That's understandable, and I know it's none of my business, but if you can't let it go, it'll only cause more problems." Lexy looked out of the corner of her eye and saw Cat and Tess in what seemed to be a very heated conversation. "Want a beer?"
Dana Caught in the crosshair, Dana took one step toward Alice, one step toward Shane, then chose her direction and went after Alice. "Hold on! I need another….er, straw."
Shane Catching just the last bit of tension, Shane frowned and sat up more on the barstool. The water wasn't tasting so good anymore, and she could see that there was something weird going on with Marina and Jenny. It felt wrong to hang around. "I'll be right back..." Instead of going after Dana and Alice, she went off on her own where the restrooms were.
Frankie: "Vodka would be better." Beer wasn't doing shite anymore. Frankie pulled back and led the way back up to the bar, this time a ways down from where Cat and Tess were. "How'm I supposed to let that go?" She finally said quietly, more to herself than to Lexy.
Cat closed her eyes. "I know. I don't know what to do," she repeated. "One second. I have to visit the loo." Cat stood up and headed toward the bathroom casting a glance at Frankie and Lexy.
Tess: Nodding, Tess quickly ordered another drink as soon as Cat was out of sight, avoiding even looking in Frankie's direction since the shock was still all over her face. "Bloody Hell."
Marina took Jenny's hands. "Jenny. You have to warn them. I know you don't think it mirrors real life, but it DOES. When they read your story in the New Yorker, they are going to flip out. Seriously, Jen, you have to tell them."
Shane was drying her hands off when Cat entered the bathroom, partially blocking the way in. "Hey, sorry," she said, stepping aside, but then her gaze caught Cat's and she froze.
Alice reached the other side of the bar and quickly ordered a shot. Downing it, she glanced to her right and noticed Dana there. "Bit of a coincidence, don't you think? I swear to god, Jenny fucking Schecter... If this is bad, I will loose my shit."
Jenny pulled her hands out of Marina's, her expression a mask of anger and betrayal. "Why would you do that?" She asked stonily, her tone like ice. "You know I wasn't talking about them. It's not about them. You made it into something it's not."
Cat stood stock still, staring at Shane. "I just had to-I needed to use-sorry," she said, and tried to brush by Shane. Cat's sleeve got caught on the dryer. She pulled at it, but couldn't get herself free. "Bloody fuck," she moaned.
Dana "Donna and Elise. Yeah, I know, it's pretty fucking obvious." Even Dana got it, although she knew anyone who knew her (especially her family) wouldn't let themselves think it was her even if it were her full name IN PRINT. "C'mon, Al, what can she possibly say? She doesn't even know you that well. We're like…friends of friends."
Lexy Price: Following Frankie, Lexy shook her head. "Hey can you grab me a beer? I'm gonna run to the bathroom." Lexy squeezed Frankie's arm and hurriedly dashed away.
Marina threw her hands up. "Because you have to tell them," she repeated. "You can tell me that it's not about us all you want. When they read about Elise and Donna, Nina and Bev, Shawn and Karma...they are going to KNOW. Please give me some credit. Jessie and Karina are not some figment of my imagination. "
Shane wasn't really sure what to do. She held her hands up while Cat went by, as if afraid even brushing against her would make her guilty of something, but then she got herself caught in the dryer. It was hard not to smile a little at that, and Shane reached over and slipped the material out without tearing it. "It's fine. Look, Cat..."
Frankie: nodded and ordered a second beer for Lexy, suddenly wishing she were allowed to smoke. She needed a fag. Or twenty.
Jenny "You're right, they're not. They're a figment of MINE! It's silly for you to think that they're real. Absolutely ridiculous! I used PIECES of you for Karina, but that's it. You have qualities that I could never even put on paper!"
Marina shook her head. "They are a figment on your imagination, but HEAVILY drawn on real life. Do you honestly think no one is going to recognize themselves? Fine, maybe I am delusional. Let them read it."
Cat looked down sheepishly. "Thank you. I-" she stopped when Shane started to speak up.
Alice sighed. "I know, I know. But that's my point! She only has observations from when we hang out. That's not even remotely half of who we are. If she was gonna do it, she could have at least done it properly and said you were the most awkward person EVER. I mean, c'mon, an extra straw! Really? Yeah I heard you." Alice laughed while saying the latter of the sentence. Dana always managed to make her laugh, no matter what the situation.
Jenny "They will read it. When it gets published." Jenny crossed her arms, her eyes narrowed. "You don't know how much I drew from real life. You can't read my mind. If you attribute the negative characteristics to them, that's your decision, but you can't tell me how I wrote my own characters in my own story."
Shane "I'm sorry." It was the only thing she could say, and she had probably already said it, but still couldn't say it enough. "I'm... profoundly sorry, for what I've done to you and your relationship with Frankie. It was disrespectful, all of it. I didn't mean to hurt you, or her."
Dana "Well, this one's…bent!" Dana lifted her drink helplessly and then couldn't help but laugh, nudging Alice with her elbow. "Well, I hope she writes in there that you have the most obvious mad face ever invented and that you snore really loud."
Lexy Price: barged into the bathroom faster than normal when she hit someone with the door. "Shit, sorry," she said, realizing that it was Cat. "Oh.." She looked down and saw Shane's hand on Cat. She didn't know much of Shane, just who she was. "I, uh, needed to use the loo" Lexy couldn't form words. They seemed guilty. "I'll be fine, nevermind," she said and walked back out to Frankie. She grabbed the beer and started chugging.
Marina smiled, in a complete state of frustration. "Ok. You win. If you think no one will notice, then great. I will happily be wrong. I have never doubted your abilities. Your writing was fantastic. It doesn't mean that reading about 'Karina' didn't hurt me. Even if she was LOOSELY based on me. Still hurts," Marina said, looking directly into Jenny's eyes.
Alice "Oh my god - I do not!" Alice threw her head back laughing, thinking about all the times Dana had pushed and nudged her in the night telling her to shut up. She put her arm around Dana and kissed her cheek. "You are too good." Looking into her eyes, she smirked. "Want another drink?"
Jenny "It's their decision how they want to relate to the characters. If I'm being honest, none of the characters ended up being at all the way I pictured them in my mind. That's why it's FICTION." Jenny cupped her hands around her mouth as if that word needed to be emphasized. She was also frustrated, upset and angry, but wasn't sure who to rant to since everyone had walked away from them.
Cat looked up surprised, as Lexy walked in. When she quickly retreated, Cat couldn't help but smile. "Fuck," she said again. "Shane, I still can't believe the way I behaved that night. I freaked out, and destroyed your engagement. You will never know how sorry I am."
Shane also looked up at Lexy, didn't recognize her, but the fact that she had a weird accent was enough to put her on high alert. Anyone with an accent seemed to get her into trouble. "You didn't destroy anything," she said honestly, then shook her head and leaned back with one hand on the sink. "How are you? Did you work things out?"
Marina grabbed the back of her neck. "Then let's just forget about it and enjoy the night. You tell me that you love me, and I believe you. So if you say the serpent in your book is not me, then I will believe that too."
Frankie: looked at Lexy with slight confusion when she started drinking that much. "That was fast. I was gonna go outside, you coming?"
Dana Laughing, Dana wrapped her arm around Alice's shoulders and felt the most comfortable she had in a long time, despite the tension they just had with Jenny. "How 'bout a round of shots? I think we earned them, right?"
Cat shook her head. "Shane, you were getting married. Then-" she gestured between the two of them, "this happened, and it all went to shit. Of course I ruined it. I'm...not good. We worked things out, in words, but I don't think she'll ever look at me the same way. It's killing me."
Lexy Price: Nodding, Lexy followed Frankie reluctantly. "I was actually thinking of going home soon. I'm not good with big crowds. I suppose you'll have to wait around for Cat?" Lexy tried not to how discomfort in her voice, but she knew that Frankie was good with reading people. she didn't think anything was going on in the bathroom, but Frankie said that she had to forgive her, and Cat did look guilty
Jenny stepped up and put her hands on Marina's shoulders, her fingers brushing the ends of her hair. "I never lied to you," she said evenly, her tone heavy and still sad. "Even after I found out about Francesca, and hated you, I always told you how I felt. And I always loved you."
Frankie "Yeah," Frankie said casually, reaching into her pocket for her cigarettes. She offered one to Lexy, then hesitated when she saw her face. "What's the matter with you?" It obviously wasn't their conversation, since she hadn't seen Lexy for the past few minutes.
Shane 's expression became drawn when Cat mentione dher engagement and she looked away. For a few seconds she didn't say anything, then she nodded and looked back at Cat. "She will. She loves you, so she will. And you're wrong to blame yourself. You weren't in your right mind that night. I was there."
Alice leaned in to Dana's shoulder and sighed. "Pfft, I think we've earned seven rounds. For some reason, I have a feeling tonight will either go one way or the other. Let's hope it's a good one!" The blonde ordered the shots and the two downed them like there was no tomorrow.
Dana Seven rounds sounded like the perfect place to start. After the second shot went down, Dana began to get fuzzy and she let her head drop against Alice's. "Omigod. Al. Alice. ALICE. I can't feel my toes or my thumbs."
Marina placed her hands on Jenny's hips. "I know you didn't lie to me. It's just hard to separate-never mind. I love you more than anything, and this has thrown me for a loop. I'm sorry if you didn't think I was being supportive. I am your biggest fan, you have to know that."
Jenny "Are you?" Jenny didn't seem as if she doubted what Marina was saying, but it was something she felt like she needed to hear again. "I love you. And I love my friends."
Cat sighed heavily. "I don't know, Shane. I don't know. I wish you the best, I really do. After all of this, I am still certain that you are a good person. Maybe a little fucked up, but who isn't?" she snuffed, wondering if Lexy was out there telling Frankie she was holed up in the bathroom with Shane.
Alice was tipsy herself and put an arm around Dana, giggling. "Your toes OR your thumbs. Uh-oh, that's not a-very-good is it? Let's get you one more and maybe the feeling in them will come back." They downed their third and suddenly the whole room had gone fuzzy. Shouting slightly, Alice grabbed Dana's hand. "H-hey, wanna go dance? We should find people and go dance!"
Lexy Price: "I just saw Cat in the bathroom is all. Nothing to worry about I'm sure." Lexy shook he read when Frankie offered her a fag. She hadn't smoked in a while and wanted to avoid it.
Shane laughed and shook her head slightly; she had given up on the quality of her person a long time ago. "More than a little. We all have our hang ups, okay? She'll forgive you."
Frankie: It was an odd response. Frankie didn't light her cigarette yet, fighting the impulse to go directly back into the club to see for herself what Lexy was talking about. "Saw her what?"
Dana "Okay! Hey! Okay you find one people and I'll find another people and I'll meet you…with the people!" Dana let go of Alice's hand, then automatically grabbed it back. "Wait! NOT a good idea! There's too many people! Let's just get the one closest to us."
Lexy Price: "She was talking to some girl. Short hair, slim body. I think her names Shane. Yeah, Shane. they were just chatting when I bumped into them. Totally didn't even go to the bathroom since it seemed intense." Lexy didn't want to lie to Frankie, but she didn't want to piss her off either.
Marina nodded slowly. "Of course I am. I always have been, and I always will be. Come on, let's go join the party," Marina said, and leaned in to kiss Jenny. She didn't want animosity between them.
Frankie just kind of stared at Lexy for a second, as if what she said didn't sink in and hit her squarely in the center of her chest. She dropped the unused cigarette on the ground and went straight past her and back into the club.
Jenny Sighing, Jenny kissed Marina back, then gave in and embraced her tightly, sinking against her and into the embrace. She didn't like to fight either, especially after all they had been through.
Lexy Price: Lexy's face fell flat and she rushed in behind Frankie. She knew there was no calming her down, but she didn't know what the hell what happening. "Frankie, what the hell?!"
Cat "I'll see you around, I'm sure. Can't get away from people in this place," Cat laughed. "Shane-" she started, "Thanks." Cat opened the bathroom door forgetting the reason she even came in.
Marina took Jenny's hand and led her over to where Dana and Alice were engaged in some sort of Amazonian mating ritual. Or maybe dancing. She couldn't tell.
Frankie: As soon as Cat opened the door, Frankie was in the restroom, completely unaware of Lexy at her heels. She barely glanced at Cat and was focused on Shane instead, blocking her way out of the bathroom. "The fuck is wrong with you?? You just can't stay away?"
Alice nearly fell over when Dana let go of her hand, however regained her balance when she grabbed it back. "Good idea, let's go find one people. Just one though - then that'll attract more people. Like a domino effect..." The two stumbled at first then began to gain form again when they reached the dance floor. Alice spotted Marina and Jenny. "HEY! Dana look! Deep sea marine and Jennnaaaaayy! Let's dance with them."
Lexy Price: Lexy grabbed Frankie's arm and tried to pull her back. "Frankie, no. Stop this and come on."
Dana waved her arms in the air, as if they were hundreds of feet away from Marina and Jenny and not approximately two or three feet. "HEY!!! Come dance with us! This is a GREAT song and these are some GREAT drinks, except I never got my straw, but it's okay you don't look sick."
Cat put a hand up to stop Frankie. "Frankie, she had no idea I was here. She was in here when I walked in."
Jenny glanced at Marina with an amused smile, then took a big sip of her own drink and reached for her girlfriend's hand to pull her in. "Don't you want to dance?"
Marina glanced at Jenny with a questioning look. "How can they be this drunk? We've only been here for twenty minutes!"
Shane Startled, Shane retreated by taking one step back. The last thing she wanted was a confrontation, but there was literally nowhere she could go. "Hey, she didn't know I was in here. Okay?"
Alice "Yooohooo! GIRLS! Get your asses over here and dance!"
Dana "Hurry UP, the song's about to end--oh no it's over, oh wait, this one's just as good!!!!"
Marina put her hand on the small of Jenny's back, and led her to where Alice and Dana were standing. "Yeah, come on. Let's dance."
Jenny "I have no idea. Maybe more time passed than we thought." Jenny shook her head, then just laughed and followed Marina, quickly drinking more so she could catch up.
Frankie: It was as though she didn't see or hear Cat or Lexy, even though they were right there. Instead Frankie was silent, standing her ground but made no move to do anything else; it was as though she might be deciding what to believe about the current situation.
Alice walked over to Jenny and gave her a clumsy hug. "I'm sorry Jenny, I was an ass before. I think your book will be great and I can't wait to read it!" The alcohol had really gone to her head.
Tess: was beginning to worry about Cat, since she'd been into the bathroom for a LONG time. She opened the door and immediately bumped into Lexy AND Frankie. "Hey! Here you are! The music out there is fucking TERRIBLE."
Cat pleaded with Frankie. "There is nothing between us, Frankie! It was a one-time mistake that will never happen again. Come on, please?"
Jenny hugged Alice back tightly, relieved that no one seemed to take the name similarities seriously. "I liked the name Alice much better, but it really isn't you! I swear! And I'm sure you'll like it, both of you!"
Lexy Price: Lexy's mouth dropped. Frankie never said what had happened, just that she needed to forgive her. But she understood now. "Frankie. Frankie come on." Lexy grabbed her hand and yanked as hard as she could.
Shane Not daring to relax, Shane kept her gaze on Frankie even though Tess was also in the bathroom now. "It was nothing, man. Just ran into her, that's all."
Frankie: It was Tess' arrival that really made Frankie snap back to reality. She straightened and looked away from Shane, for the first time seeing Cat's expression and feeling Lexy tugging on her arm. Without responding, she turned and left the restroom abruptly, the door slamming loudly behind her.
Dana "Yeah, I bet it'll be a GREAT book, maybe they'll even make it into a movie. Right? RIGHT?"
Tess: jumped when Frankie stormed past her, but immediately understood the situation when she saw Shane standing by the sink.
Marina said nothing. She swayed to the music, sipping on her drink.
Lexy Price: Lexy shook her head and walked out. "Fuck"
Alice "Haha! Could you imagine that, Dana?" She looked at her best friend/lover/whatever it was they were and giggled. "And imagine, just IMAGINE, if it was actually about us!" Alice laughed hysterically and grabbed Dana, beginning to dance.
Cat grunted loudly. "My life is such a fucking mess," she said, quickly taking off to follow after Frankie.
Tess: Being alone with Shane after that felt incredibly awkward. Tess gestured to the stall, then quickly hurried into one and locked the door after her before they could engage in small talk.
Shane sighed and rubbed her face, then left the restroom a few seconds later so there would be plenty of time for the space to be cleared out. She went back to the bar, found it empty, but it wasn't hard to find her friends... who were now drunk.
Frankie: went back outside where she had dropped the cigarette, stopping just beyond the door. She had no idea if she was even being followed or by who, but it didn't matter at this point.
Dana "It would be…the BEST…movie…EVER…" Dana paused between each word for dramatic effect, practically falling all over Alice in her attempts to dance. When she saw Shane she hopped up and down. "SHAYNE! Omigod, LOOK, it's SHANE!"
Lexy Price: followed Frankie outside. "I know how you must be feeling. And i know that it's late, so I'm gonna head home. Do you want to come with me? Just to take the edge off from tonight."
Jenny noticed that Marina seemed distant. She took her hand and wrapped her arms around her neck, prompting them both into a more intimate dancing position.
Cat caught up to her girlfriend. "Frankie," she said breathlessly, "Come on. You have to understand-" she stopped short when she heard Lexy. "What the fuck is that, Lexy? Really?"
Alice "Where HAVE you been?!" Alice ran over to Shane and gave her a hug. "Come dance! Come on!"
Shane Explaining where she had been seemed like it would take too much effort, so Shane just shook her head and allowed herself to be pulled into the group. Even though she had nothing but water, it was enough of a diversion for now. "Are you already drunk? Fuck, it's been like five minutes."
Lexy Price: Lexy was startled by Cat's appearance. "It's nothing. Things are clearly fucked up right now, and I don't want any extra drama between two of my friends. Is it a problem if she stays with me? When clearly you're the one who's fucking up."
Alice "Pfft, whatever. I'm having fun - so's Dana." She added the last bit with a wink. "Now, are you coming to dance or not?"
Frankie: put her hands over her face and shook her head, but wasn't sure how to respond to either of them. The entire situation felt overwhelming. She took out a fag with shaky fingers and lit it, not even bothering to ask for an explanation for why Cat was in the bathroom with Shane.
Cat looked at Lexy in awe. "Frankie and I can handle this, Lexy. Do I want her to just take off with you? Fuck no, I want to talk to my girlfriend. And you need to mind your own business."
Shane "Oh yeah, drink away, have fun," Shane said with a smirk, easily reading between the lines. She knew there were certain things going on with her friends, but had no idea of the details behind any of it.
Dana tried to hand Shane a shot. "Just one. Come ON. It's your BIRTHDAY. You were BORN today. Well…not today, but you know. JUST DRINK IT."
Lexy Price: "Don't get mad at me for trying to help. Frankie's a person, not a piece of meat." Lexy shook her head and went back inside to find Tess.
Marina Trying to forget about the book, Marina rested her chin on Jenny's shoulder, comfortable in the embrace. Being a viper was never what she had intended.
Tess: was edging out of the bathroom, making sure Shane wasn't there anymore so she wouldn't have to endure any stilted conversation. She saw Lexy and immediately looked relieved, then concerned. "What happened??"
Cat could feel herself bubbling with rage. "A piece of meat? A piece of FUCKING meat? I have NEVER treated her like that. What is your angle, Lexy? You see a break between two people in love and you're trying to capitalize on that?" She shouted after Lexy.
Alice "Drink, drink, drink!" Alice pushed the drink in Dana's hand towards Shane.
Frankie: heard Lexy walk away and she took a long drag on her cigarette, suddenly wishing she'd had more to drink since the seven or eight shots had worn off in a little under two seconds. "Cat," she finally said sharply, interrupting the tirade even though the door had already closed behind Lexy.
Lexy Price: Lexy smirked, knowing Cat was on edge. She didn't even answer her. "Tess, I'm going home. Do you want to stay?"
Shane rolled her eyes and resisted at first, but then accepted the shot. As soon as Alice and Dana weren't paying attention she easily (and discreetly) set the shot on a nearby tray.
Dana: (CHEATER)
Alice: (RUDE)
Dana didn't even notice that the alcohol didn't go into Shane's mouth where it belonged. "YES!" She pumped her first in the air, then abruptly grabbed the sides of Alice's face and kissed her on the mouth with a comical smack.
Tess: "What? Home? Now? Um--no, I guess not, I just…is she okay? Cat? Frankie? Was that about Shane? What HAPPENED?"
Cat raised her hand to her forehead. "Fuck, Frankie. I don't know what to do! I love you, I'm sorry, I'm so fucking sorry, and I don't know what to do!"
Alice Before Alice had time to think, Dana's hands were plastered on her face and she kissed her. Pulling away, Alice acted offended. "HOW VERY DARE YOU! At least buy me a drink first!" Laughing once more, she held Dana's hand and hugged her with one arm. "So Shane, are you having a good time? Are you having a goooooood time?!"
Frankie: was quiet while she smoked the cigarette, then laughed softly and shook her head. "I hate that I can't stop thinking about it, Cat. I don't know what to do either. I really don't. I can't... I can't get it out of my head."
Allison walking in to the party, holding Helena's hand. It seemed like things were already in full swing by the time they had arrived.
Lexy Price: "You'll have to talk to them if you want to know. I think I hit a nerve. I'm heading home. Movies and take out for me. Come if you want. If not, goodnight." Lexy headed out the door, past Frankie and Cat.
Cat "I know you can't. I can't either. What I did to you..." Cat trailed off, tears finally spilling. "But I need to know, Frankie. Can we get through this?
Shane Seeing Alice and Dana kiss surprised her, but Shane didn't show it at all; she was just happy THEY were having such a good time. It had been a while. "Yeah, I am," she said genuinely, smirking without being able to help yourself. "I have a feeling your night'll be better than mine."
Tess: "Wait!" Tess hesitated, then went after Lexy, pausing when she saw Cat and Frankie right there. It looked like they were having a private moment, though, so she kept walking instead of interrupting it. "Wait…"
Dana "Another round, please!" Dana called to no one in particular, and then managed to get herself and Alice another drink even though by now it seemed like a bad idea. "It's going to be a GREAT night. I can feel it. In my bones." She handed a glass off to Alice, her eyes bright.
Lexy Price: Turning around, Lexy looked at Tess. "Hm?"
Frankie: "I'm not letting you go," Frankie said simply, but it wasn't answering the question.
Tess: was torn between staying to make sure Cat was okay and going with Lexy, but she didn't want to horn in on her friends' relationship. She sighed. "Take-out?"
Alice accepted the drink happily. "Why thank you ma dear! You're right, it will be great. But you know what'd be greater? If more people were here! I swear Helena said she'd be here!" Alice downed her drink and looked around with a frown. She'd been hoping Helena would be there that night - it wasn't the same without everyone there.
Lexy Price: "Always. Chinese?" Lexy smiled to herself when Tess walked beside her. She loved having her there, even if Tess didn't want to be there completely.
Allison saw the drunkeness on the floor, and decided to take Helena right back home. They had plenty to do at Helena's house.
Allison: ((LOL))
Jenny: ((LOL PERFECT))
Jenny drags Marina home and makes up for everything.
Marina happily lets Jenny make everything up to her.
Tess: "Chinese it is." She managed a smile even though she was worried about what was going on behind them. "They are okay, right?"
Dana "I know! Where is she! And Bina and Tette! …I mean…you know what I mean. The best people ever. OH wouldn't it be amazing if they brought Angelica? But I guess babies aren't allowed in bars. Are babies allowed in bars, Shane?"
Lexy Price: Putting her arm around Tess's waist, she called the Chinese place and ordered their favorites." Movies tonight?"
Tess: felt comfortable with Lexy and happy to spend time with her, even if they were only friends. It was a role she was slowly getting used to (but still didn't like). "Yes! And you can pick. The first one, at least."
Shane "Um... I'm not sure." Shane had no idea why Dana would ask her that question out of all people, but was nonetheless amused. "Probably not."
Lexy Price: Stopping by the restaurant and picking up their food, Lexy wanted nothing more than to watch a movie and sleep.
Tess Sensing that she wasn't going to get any more information out of Lexy about what happened, Tess let the issue slide.
Alice was in hysterics. "Bina and Tette? BINA AND TETTE?!" She giggled while sipping her drink, and slowly swayed to the music. "You're right though, it would have been great if they were here. I'll kick Bette's ass later, don't worry."
Molly walked in slowly, not sure how to act around Shane. She had no idea if Carmen was going to be at the party, and if she was, Molly probably wasn't welcome. "Hi," she said, walking up to the group on the dance floor.
Shane "I'm sure something came up," Shane said easily, not at all irritated that some of her friends weren't there. She was about to say something else when Molly appeared, which genuinely surprised her - in a good way. "Hey, Mol... I didn't know you were coming."
Dana "I'll help! Except…except I don't thunk I can kick Bette's ass. Oh hey--hey, where'd Jenny go? I wanna ask what Bette's name is in her story. OH we should try to guess it! Hi Molly! Is Molly in the story, do you think?" Dana's conversation had no real linear logic to it.
Molly smiled warily at the group of friends. "Happy Birthday, Shane," Molly said, hugging her. "Here." Molly handed her a card, and stood back a few steps. She wasn't sure what to do with herself.
Alice "Pfft, please Dana. You're a tennis star! Of course you could! Hey, hey - I'll tell you what. How's about I grab one leg, and you grab the other, then we throw her in the pool? Ha!" Turning around, Alice noticed Molly. "Oh, hi! So great to see you here! Would you like a drink?"
Cat sat on the curb, completely dejected. "Then what do we do? Be miserable together? Or be miserable apart?"
Molly nodded at Alice. "That would be great, thank you. Am I in what story?" She asked Alice, since Dana seemed incapable of answering a question at that moment.
Shane "Thanks..." Shane took the card and turned it over in her hands, suddenly aware of how awkward Molly felt and her own inability to do anything about it. She was completely sober. "Oh, just... Jenny wrote a story." Without even thinking about it, Shane paid for Molly's drink. The gesture was second nature at this point, even if it was her birthday. "I got it."
Dana "There's a POOL??" Dana's eyes were like saucers. "REALLY? HERE? Where??" When she was drunk, everything suddenly became literal.
Frankie "Together," Frankie said without hesitation. She sighed and sat next to Frankie on the curb, handing over a cigarette. "I'd rather be miserable with you than without you."
Alice "Yeah, Jenny wrote a story that's gonna be published in a few days. Aaaaaall fiction apparently, but I don't buy it." Alice stepped over to Dana, wrapping her arm around her own in order to keep the brunette's balance. "Okay you, let's go get you some water." Alice looked at the group and smiled. "I'll be right back, I'm just gonna sort Dana out and make sure she's okay."
Molly nodded at Shane in gratitude. "Did Carmen come?" she asked, regretting the words the second they were out of her mouth.
Shane "No," Shane said quietly, her gaze averted. She wasn't even sure if Alice invited her or not, but doubted Carmen would come ten feet from the building if she knew she'd be inside it.
Cat took the cigarette, lit it, coughed, and exhaled. "Me too. I don't want to be without you, Frankie. Ever. Can you honestly tell me that you believe me when I tell how sorry I am? How profoundly sorry?" Cat didn't even realize she was quoting Shane.
Dana "You think she made me cool or uncool in the story? 'Cause if she made me COOL, then we would KNOW it's fictional," Dana slurred as she stumbled away with Alice, barely even aware that they were leaving Shane and Molly behind. "And I'm FINE. I swear I'm fine. See." She tried to stand absolutely still.
Molly tried to brush it off quickly. "I'm sure there's a reason. Anyway, I just stopped by to say hello, and to give you a birthday card." Molly looked around, suddenly wondering what she was doing there.
Frankie "Yeah, 'course I believe you, Cat. You're not a liar." Frankie knew that much about her, and they had known each other for their entire lives. Practically.
Cat stood up. "Can we go? I just need to go. I can't do this anymore," she said, wiping at her cheek.
Alice was drunk herself, but nowhere near as much as Dana. She looked at the brunette, so obviously trying to stand still but swaying all over the place. "Oh Dana, Dana... You've always been a lightweight when it comes to alcohol. C'mon, let's go get some water from the bar." Alice took Dana's hand and also put her arm around her shoulders for support. She slowly sat Dana down on a barstool and asked politely for some water. "Drink this and then we'll go outside and get some fresh air."
Shane "I'm really glad you came." Even though it was awkward, it was nice to know that Molly still cared enough to show up and give her something. "I haven't seen you around much, so... I've missed you."
Dana "Ugh, I hate it when you call me a lightweight," Dana moaned, but followed Alice to the counter. She folded her arms on the bar and took the water obediently, but rolled her eyes as she took a big gulp. "Okay, it worked! I'm sober now." She hated drinking water.
Molly "I've missed you too." Molly checked her cell phone, and slid it back into her pocket. "It's Phyllis. My mother invited me over for a late dinner with her new lady-friend. So weird. I have to go, but...I'm glad I got to see you."
Alice "If you're sober then I'm a monkey. Drink!" She pushed the glass towards Dana, rubbing her back. "Hurry up, everyone seems to be leaving so we might be heading home soon."
Shane "Oh, yeah... yeah, of course." Shane didn't expect Molly to stay. The letter in her jacket suddenly felt very heavy, and reminded her of a different letter she had received from Molly.. a long time ago. "I'll see you around. I really mean it though, I'm... glad you came."
Dana "Okay! I got it, I got it." Dana managed to get the rest of it down, then made a face at Alice to show just how displeased she was by it all. "There! Happy?"
Frankie stubbed her cigarette out, then stood and gave a slow nod, her voice quiet. "Yeah, let's go."
Alice smirked. "Always." She leaned forward and gave Dana a kiss. "Now, let's go find Shane."
Cat took her hand, and nearly dragged her to the car. Outside, Cat stood directly in front of Frankie. "Kiss me," she commanded. "You haven't kissed me, really, since all of this happened. I need to feel you."
Dana still had her eyes closed when Alice pulled back, and she blinked at her with her lips parted. "Oh--right. Yeah."
Frankie hadn't realized she had been avoiding contact with Cat, even though... she had been. She stopped and looked down at her, a brief look of uncertainty flashing over her eyes, but then she leaned down and kissed Cat softly.
Shane is getting no kissing.
Cat returned the kiss, softly at first, but with building fervor. She needed, NEEDED, to feel like Frankie still loved her, wanted her, trusted her.
Alice and Dana headed over to where they had all been previously and noticed Shane was standing alone. "Hey you," she shouted over the music. "Are you ready to go? I've got your present at my place but I'll have to give it to you tomorrow. Dana's all over the place." She looked at Dana and smiled, then directed her gaze back at Shane. "I'll look after her tonight."
Shane is getting no action whatsoever.
Shane Now that Molly was gone and she was still very much not drunk, there was really no reason to stay. Even though she had thought about it, Shane knew that Carmen wasn't going to show up. "Yeah, sure," she said to Alice, then gave her a wink when Dana was looking the other way. She wasn't sure what was going on, but obviously someone was going to go home happy.
Dana yawned, suddenly feeling like a million years had passed even though they had been at the club for not very long at ALL. "I am kind of tired, I guess, in a sleepy sort of way… oh hey, I have a present too! In my car…"
Alice "Where's your car...?"
Dana "I have no idea."
Alice "We can look for it tomorrow, but for now I should get you home."
Shane "Shit. Uh..." Shane looked at Alice. "Don't worry about it. I'll uh, give you guys a ride."
Frankie At first, Frankie wasn't able to return the kiss in the same way. Her reaction was slow, delayed, but then she returned the pressure and her hands were against Cat's back.
Cat pulled away slowly, a soft cry escaping her throat. "Come on. Let's go home."
Alice "But you had a couple of drinks, didn't you?"
Dana nodded to both offers, not at all concerned about the vast expanse of space her car disappeared in.
Shane "I'm fine to drive." Shane avoided the question, not wanting to admit she'd slipped the drinks aside.
Alice "Fine, fine - that would be lovely thank you. Uhm, do you want to crash at mine tonight Dana?"
Frankie "Okay," Frankie said hoarsely, her voice sore from the alcohol or cigarettes or something else. She led the way to the car, keeping hold of Cat's hand.
Dana "Yeah! I mean I won't CRASH your place, just at it."
Shane shook her head and tried not to laugh as she led the way out of the bar. She had only seen Dana this drunk one other time, and it hadn't ended well.
