vincepetrov:
ââLike a bunny. The real question is, when are you gonna leave me alone to die? I donât fuckinâ deserve this before ten in the morning, I really donât.â
âOkay, bugs. I donât know, give me a few more hundred years and I might consider it. Oh bullshit, you deserve everything coming your way, especially before ten in the morning. Donât even try and play the victim card, Vince.â
gullageransome:
âMore then nine huhâguess you have your own circle of enemies. I suppose that just proves the point that blondes do have more fun.â
âItâs more of an angry horde, you know.. Torches.. pitchforks.. wooden bullets if Iâm lucky, but whoâs paying attention anymore? Oh as if you ever doubted it.â
charminglysinful:
( âYouâve never been kind to anyone in your long, long life, Lyssa. Donât pretend like you even know the meaning of the word.â ) Noah chuckled, rolling his eyes at the thought of her even being kind. Sheâd only ever shown that potential to be kind with the other him, yet it had been a fleeting glimpse into the girl she might have been had he not turned her all those centuries ago. The woman she might have become had he not stolen her humanity along with her mortality. (Â âBut at least youâre honesty about one thing. Unfortunately for you though, I think Iâve rather taken a liking to your charm - so this is one consequence youâre either going to have to deal with or put up with.â ) There was truth behind those words, he had rather taken a shine to her - despite trying to kill her not all that long ago in the span of their lives. This truth evident in the fact there werenât all that many people he allowed to speak to him they was she did, and also in the fact that the last time she had - heâd ran her through with a chair leg. (Â âCome on now Lyssa. We both know Iâm exceedingly special. How many other guys have you followed around for centuries? â And donât try to insist that you were only looking for the truth, we both know thatâs a lie.â )
âOh shut up, Iâm sure thereâs someone Iâve been rather nice to. Statistically, itâs virtually impossible for there not to be more than one even. Who knows, maybe they caught me on a particularly good day.â Though most of her good days, never equated to anyone elseâs. If anything, she was wired almost completely opposite. It was really only at her lowest point that Lyssa thought to reel in her rather.. eccentric ways, and even then, they were few and far between. Sheâd been hard pressed to find herself at such a low point in her life. âGod, arenât I fucking lucky.â She droned out with as much an unimpressed tone as her features gave away. If you donât mind, Iâd much rather ignore this consequence altogether.â Despite the all to sweet sound of her voice, it dripped with every ounce of poison she could offer Noah Carmikael himself, the one man that both deserved it and didnât in the same breath. She wasnât interested in him taking a liking to her charm, not anymore. âIâm sure thereâs at least a handful of mindless new vampires running around that you can mess with rather than bothering me, who knows, you could find yourself a new pet.â Lyssa wasnât bothered, sheâd push and sheâd push until he snapped -- she wasnât afraid of him in any sense, and neither was she all too impressed by his attempts at civility. âYou certainly do have a few screws loose... I suppose that counts as special, but then again.. youâre one among many in that sense. --- Is now a bad time to tell you that Iâve actually been following Micah around and not you? He thought you could use a little spark in your life, but it turns out Iâm madly in love with him and have been for years.â Mock sarcasm became her as much as chaos and destruction ever did as she pinned Noah with a blank stare. âWeâre done here.â
â--- And that is the story of how your brother ended up staining my favorite louboutins. Iâd say you probably owe me. Donât you think?â Her mock grin settled on a familiar passerby, pinning them with a grin that dared them to disagree, âDonât you think she owes me?â

âSomeone sitting for fifteen minutes bothers you? Your testiness knows no bounds, does it?â
âNo..---- Donât tell me you were expecting more, were you? How disgustingly open minded of you.â
gullageransome:
âCuriosity killed the cat. Iâm sure youâre old enough to understand disappointment.â
âCute, but Iâve got plenty more lives than a feline. Old enough, though Iâm not all that familiar with it. Get what I want, take what I want --- doesnât leave much room to be disappointed.â
gullageransome:
âMove along now, nothing to see here.âÂ
âWhat a way to diminish a womanâs curiosity...â

âYou look like youâve seen a ghost.â
âIâve seen plenty enough to know that youâre not one of them, donât flatter yourself. Youâve been sitting there for almost fifteen minutes, and usually Iâm all for freaking everyone out, but youâre starting to bother me.â

âWhy question such a good thing when we both know how this is going to play out, love. Its you and I tonight, regardless of whatever else it was you had on; or, whoever I should say.âÂ
âDarling Lyra, if ever there were a tolerable thorn in my side, you might have been it, but showing up like this is really beginning to make me question how much I like you.â
vincepetrov:
ââ âKay, first of all⌠I resent beinâ lumped in with that prick. Second, I never left Murderville. Just hopped along the outskirts for awhile âcause thatâs what I do.â
âYou hopped along the outskirts of town? Youâre a fucking creeper, when exactly are you going to leave that poor girl alone to die? Sheâd be better off.â
charminglysinful:
( âI donât try to kill everyone I know, Lyssa - Only the truly special ones.â ) Noah couldnât help but try to push her buttons, there was something about Lyssa when she was angry that was exhilarating to him. It was thrilling to see her at her prime, it was then that she shone the brightest. ( âBut in my defense you were attempting to lock me in a metaphorical cage again. What else was I supposed to do? Murderous ripperâs are for life Lyssa, not just for Christmas - you opened Pandoraâs box, you should have been prepared to deal with the consequences of that action.â ) He knew bringing up the fact that sheâd technically been responsible for the series of events that had happened over the last couple of years would surely tick every box on the way to her losing her temper. ( âWell, my mother taught me not to tell lies. And Iâd be a damn liar if I said I didnât enjoy our times together. I distinctly remember doing it right there ââ ) He pointed to the dancers stage with a smirk. ( âDo you? You were exceedingly vocal that night.â )
Without fail, she paused and held up her index finger to hush him momentarily, âI think I just threw up at little.â Like a mosquito, in the months since moving past whatever pain heâd forced her to feel after so long of being numb to it, once sheâd finally fallen to her usual distaste for both him and the man he was in his right mind; burying everything well beneath it under iron and stone, Lyssa could only hope heâd fly too close to a zapper and that would be the end of him. âYou deserved it, and it was either a cage or drawn and quartered, I was being kind.â Something sheâd never been in the least. âI donât ever deal with consequences, itâs part of my charm.â Short and sharp, her venomous tongue made it all the easier to cut any further conversation with him short. Responsible or not; sheâd never accepted that kind of thing before now, and despite the last year of her life being all too different to her usual self, heâd been gone long enough for her to realize she loved herself more than she could ever love him. âHold onto those memories, Noah, theyâre all youâre going to have of our time together.â She rolled her eyes and turned towards her office, more than done with his mindless idea of a welcome home. âIâm exceedingly vocal with everyone, I hope you didnât consider yourself anything truly special.â
@vincepetrov
âYou would roll into town on the coattails of that bastard.â

âI canât decideââ He began, holding a hand up to his chin in deep, complex thought. âIf I like it more when they run, or when they just stand there screaming.â An unsettling, yet genuine smile took hold of his features, his eyes squinting as a result. âYouâd think their vocal chords would give out after a minute or two, but no.â He finally dropped the hand from his face, then pointing at his sire instead. âTell me what you think, Mommy.â
âI think I liked it a hell of a lot more when you didnât talk to fucking much.â There was clearly a reason why Lyssa had never sired anyone save one, a lapse in her lacking compassion had gifted her best friend with the incessant little brother that was likely just as irritating as the man himself. âThe running and screaming works better, why have one when you could have both.â As if that wasnât the only answer reasonable for their kind, she might have pinned him with a glare had a forceful eye roll not ripped through her first at the unsavory name that slipped from his lips. âI should have let you die.â
