Who wants to chat with Death?
ryogaiâ:
It wasnât everyday someone got greeted by Death in the morning, in the sense that he came prepared with refreshments. Ironic how Nix had brushes with death during the singularities but never actually met the Pale Rider face to face. At least the woman was able to get a decent amount of sleep for a change, that should ease the worries of the others. âGood morning to you as well.. You donât have to wait on me like this, you know. Though I do appreciate it since some tea sounds nice.â The silverette was well aware she wasnât of high social standing in any sense of the word. So this manner of treatment was something she had no prior experience with at all. âDid you make some for yourself too?â
âWorry not, I did,â he replied. âI just thought I might make you something, as well, since I am here.â
Death had made himself some coffee but did not tell her how much sugar and espresso was in it. The Master did not need to fret over such things like his incredibly unhealthy habits. But would one expect anything less from the Pale Rider? Well, he was not about to risk making that assumption as he set about making Nix some tea. âAnd I am glad to see that you appear to have slept a healthy amount last night.â
âLook Iâm not saying that the concept of cheating death is impossible.â
He paused to take a sip of his coffee that was filled with far too much caramel syrup and shots of expresso. âAll Iâm saying is consequences happen in proportion to the action. And when I catch up, you wonât have the luxury of an open casket.â
@ryogaiâ wanted a starter!
âGood morning, Master,â the Ruler greeted with a pleasant smile. âCould I interest you in coffee or tea?â
@silvcrreaperâ wants a starter!
âA rabbi, an imam, and a preacher all walk into a bar.â Death left a pregnant pause in the air to build suspense. âAnd they all woke up with concussions!â
SLAP THIS POST FOR A STARTER
The cruelest trick Creation ever played was giving Death the ability to Love.
Who wants to get visited by Death?
âI am the murder of your mind, I have blood stained teeth, I have blood in my head. I have blood on my tongue. You claim to compare my heated savagery ? The carnage of my mind? You are nothing but a shell that I have crushed underneath my feet eons ago, and I still know the taste of your demise.â

 A snicker from Undertaker as he walked back over to the table with the tea, placing the cup for Lord Death at his elbow before he took his own seat. âMm, as you say mâlord. Itâs none of my business either. But one hears things, and they canât help but be curious!âÂ
Ah, but he shouldnât bother to mess in it. He was retired thank-you-very-much!Â
âIf you ask me, mâlord, theyâre not going to learn from this at all. Theyâll just find someone to pin the blame on.â He fixed his tea to his liking, sitting back in his chair with a hum, âBut, I do hope they get those re~cords back. It seemed they were pretty important ones too.âÂ
âOh Iâm sure theyâll get it solved one way or another,â Death said with a small hum as he fixed his tea to his own liking. âBut losing records at all is simply not a good look for them.â
The smile lingered upon Lord Deathâs lips as he sipped his tea, giving an approving nod to Undertaker. He was an odd one, to be sure, but he did have a way to making a fine cup of tea. âI do hope they havenât misplaced anyone while these have been missing, though.â
silvcrreaperâ:
He casually took a seat, not at all caring how Death thought as he rested a foot against the edge of the table. âMhm~ missing records. The shinigami are all in a dizzy over it. I went to check it out mysel~f.â He gave a grin, leaning his head back so his hair parted to reveal dual chartreuse green, âTheyâre gone. As if they never got collected.âÂ
The kettle whistled, and Undertaker got back up to his feet, humming cheerfully to himself. âItâs so strange! Makes me wonder whoâs thinking about messing with them.â Not him, surely.
âWell theyâre big boys and girls who chose to conduct themselves in an overly bureaucratic manner,â Death said with the smallest of amused smirks. âSo Iâm sure they can figure out where these records got misplaced.â
He adjusted his glasses a moment before giving a small hum. âMaybe this business will give them some cause for reflection.â Death always went about his own business on his own and never really got involved in the affairs of the shinigami. As he said, they were perfectly capable of handling their business without him.
silvcrreaperâ:
Of course, of course!Â
The tea and honey were laid out on the table as Undertaker bustled about the tiny kitchen area. While the shinigami himself preferred just a drop or two of cream in his own, he knew not everyone like the strong taste of tea. âThereâs a un~ique rumour going around, if youâre interested.â Undertaker hummed as he sat one of the finer cups down on the table, flitting back to the stove to pull down the tea leaves. âSomethin~g about missing records. Interested, mâlord~?âÂ
Oh ho? Rumors were not something he normally bothered with but if Undertaker thought it enough to bring up then he supposed he could listen.
âMissing records? Youâve gotten my interest, my friend.â Death smiled as he savored the aromas brought forth by the opening of the tins of tea leaves. Earthy smells such as those always brought a smile to his face as they reminded him of how wonderful creation could be.
silvcrreaperâ:
Have fun?
He blinked âneath silver bangs, then he laughed.Â
âPlease, I still go out and smell the flowers every day, mâlord.â The Undertaker chuckled, âThe weath~erâs just been so uncooperative that I havenât had the time to enjoy it! Rain and clouds make for a dreary mood.â He finally got up and disappeared into the back, letting Death follow if he wished. Tea was important! He had a guest!Â
âBut we both know humans will get through this one like the las~t one. They always do â tea, mâlord? Iâm afraid I donâ~t have anything fancy.âÂ
Well that answer was not as terrible or strange as he had been expecting. But âsmelling the flowersâ could mean a lot of things. Better not to dwell on the things the Undertaker said.
âTea would be lovely with what a dreary day it is,â Death responded after following Undertaker into the back. Perhaps he was just worrying a bit too much and being shut away all day wasnât a bad thing for the Undertaker. âWith sugar or honey if you have either, please.â
For Lord Death this fine April Fools... there are cookies left! Skillfully made, but a bite in them revealed them to be oatmeal raisin, and not the delicious chocolate chip like they had been crafted to be! What sort of person had a (heh) death wish?! ( April Fools )
Oh what cruel fate! What terrible betrayal!! What heartless monster would trick someone in such a way? There was, really, only one choice but Death had to admit that, despite his misgivings, the cookies were pretty tasty.
Death has appeared! What to do?
