can we talk about anthony seeing two geese right before he meets kate for the first time? cause i just did some googling and oh MAN.

geese symbolize family, protectiveness, loyalty and teamwork. people whose spirit animal is a goose often make family their highest priority and sacrifice themselves while making decisions for the good of the family.

and, from this article: “occasionally, to see a pair of geese is a symbol of the imminent arrival of a soul mate.” we all know who arrived soon after this shot! 👀

Something I just noticed about Kate’s clothing - she has a signature sleeve style - the tulip sleeve! Most of her dresses feature it and not a lot of other characters’ clothing uses this sleeve style. Except for Violet Bridgerton who we know also loves tulips 😭

I love the colour coordinated elements here - how Wyatt’s olive green/ brown jacket echoes the brighter green of Lucy’s skirt and how her jade bodice is reflected in his darker teal breeches. And of course, that gorgeous deep raspberry/ burgundy cloak of Lucy’s finds its match in Rufus’s faded pink waistcoat/ vest

Lucy’s dress came together much quicker than I imagined, though it was alot less complicated than Wyatt’s suit, so it was a nice relief!

Overall I am thrilled with how this turned out. I wanted to do these gorgeous costumes justice and I do believe I have.
