Attention all!
As time passed, themes and characters I wrote about stopped being able to fit within neat boxes. What began as several blogs morphed into worlds intersecting because they shared events and consequences that played out across multiple worlds.
Characters weren’t the only thing being crossovered. Stories crossed. Timelines blurred.
Concepts began carrying their weight beyond a single location.
Holding down multiple active blogs started to fray what, in reality, was really just an amalgam of one story. Threads started feeling disjointed. It was getting increasingly difficult to follow the larger narrative, skipping between blogs that increasingly had ceased to be distinct.
The Duskbound Codex is how I correct that problem
One home for all ongoing RP
Improved arc and timeline connectivity
Easier navigation for all parties concerned
Space for crossovers, AUs, and longer storylines without imposed walls
A house that resonates with the lore rather than fighting against the lore
This isn’t a reboot.
It’s not a reset. Nothing is being erased, nothing is being written out of existence. It's consolidation — stories that already belong together can finally have a place to call their own. @lycanspirited and @hollowspirited Will NOT be deleted. I put too much time into these stories to see them gone. They will stay up. Anything that has happened on these blogs will be transferred to @the-duskbound-codex as if nothing had happened.
Also, AUs will be tagged properly... finally.
