RICH MAN POOR WOMAN (2012)
Arashi's birthday live in 2025
My Gokusen Journey
The beginning, rushing home after school just to watch the show: Live action of Gokusen Season 1
The continuation, a combination of rushing home to watch the show and catching up on unwatched episodes after a long time: Gokusen Live Action Season 2
After a long time, discovering there is Season 3. Thank you Internet. Thank you.
The discovery of Johnny's Idol: Learning about the cast because I have a smart phone by that time. Thank you Google. Arashi, Kat-tun and hey say Jump.
The unknown world of the Idol groups, opening the door to a new beginning: Upon discovering that the male leads are from Idol groups, I venture to listen to their songs and finally I fell in love with Takaki Yuya's voice.
The unexpected, loving Hey Say Jump: The intention was to find other songs by Takaki Yuya. However, the group he belongs to (at the time of discovery) was a 9 member Idol group. So listening to their songs means listening to all their voices. I listened and continued to listen.
Going out of my comfort zone: While I fell in love with the group and their music, I also discovered their show called Itadaki High Jump. All of these helped me keep going in my life during that time, a tough time. Hey Say Jump became one of my sources of happiness.
The last string to pull, Gokusen the Movie: I believe it was a great way to close the live action series. I love the movie. Loved the reunion.
The end of the journey: It ended. I watched it all. I'm happy and satisfied but somehow I didn't want it to end. I thought that was it until I found out there is an anime. Watched it of course. Love the anime. I am so happy.
Unsatisfied: If there is a live action, there is a manga, let's find out if there is a manga. Found it, read it, loved it. Super satisfied. Super. Super great.
I love all the versions of Gokusen. A live action, manga and anime. I saw the difference and similarities of the story and the characters. I usually hate live actions, maybe because I watched it first or maybe because it was a well produced drama. Yankumi from the manga is different from both the live action and anime. I am Happy to have known that Yankumi. Not gonna lie, it was my favorite.
Final message: To those who have also watched the live action but are yet to watch the anime, give it a try. But most importantly, please give the manga a try as well, because it will provide a sense of completeness in the story.
If you read it until here, I know you also love the series. Thank you.
How to spot a great live action adaptation of a manga or anime: Just find out if Shun Oguri is part of the cast of characters
as Sano Izumi from Hana-kimi
as Hanazawa Rui from Hana Yori Dango
as Shinichi Kudo from Detective Conan
as Lupin from Lupin the 3rd
as Sakata Gintoki from Gintama

Truly one of a kind, I'm glad I got to stream their final concert. Happy to see a little shojun in 2026 🤭
I'm so happy I got to see snippets of the concert, as unfortunately my media is not able to receive it whole 😭 (bad internet and even worse pc capacity). So thank you to all of you out there who have shared this and other snippets.
19 years ago, I got a CD as a gift with a magazine I bought. On that CD, 2 songs called my attention, not only for the rhythm, but for the voices. One voice in particular 💙 stood out over the others for me. I continued listening to these songs and many others over the years, until I found my first MV, "Aozora Pedal". I finally got to SEE the men behind the voices, and my eyes went to the guy who is my fave until now 💓 (though 💙 continued to fight for the top spot 🥰). As the years passed, I continued getting to know them and I began to admire what was special of these two, as well as the other 3 💚💛💜 as individuals. I noticed that there was something special between them as a whole. I began to see the 5 as a whole. I began to LOVE Arashi 🌈 as a whole and hasn't stopped until now (and I don't think it will). Even if they don't appear together again, the Five will continue being part of my life, the active members through their appearances, the others through memories, through their past songs and shows. They will always be part of my days.
