I feel like the Digimon Emperor arc was a dig at Pokémon. He captured Digimon and forced them to battle, thinking it’s a game. I mean controlling what they do, forcing them to fight without them wanting it, calling it a game, wanting to literally ‘catch them all’ and wanting to ‘be the very best’, I don’t know it just seems like the entire arc was based on a criticism of Pokémon.
...Wow. I never thought of it that way. =P
I don’t care what the writers say, Davis and Ken are a couple. I don’t care what anyone thinks, Davis is gay. There isn’t a doubt in my mind, don’t fight me on this.

I kind of wish the Tamers trio had been the new Digi-Destined of 02 and got to interact with the originals.
I heard Tamers was originally gonna be a direct sequel to Adventure 02, but that got changed.
I thought this scene was weird because Mikey was idly standing behind a bush, so I watched the original version to see if the dub censored it. I laughed. In the dub, the guy was just chilling behind a bush for no reason, but it the original, Taiki stood behind a bush because he had to take a leak. What I found even weirder is when Akari hands him a hand wipe, but Taiki was wearing gloves, which raised a bunch of questions. Did Taiki pee while wearing his gloves? Did he possibly take his gloves off before he peed? Regardless, if he did keep his gloves on, did he use the hand wipe on his gloves? Why do they wear gloves anyways? They don’t make doing things any easier. Someone’s got some explaining to do.
The dub didn't it make it obvious he was peeing, but it didn't "censor" it exactly. Taiki/Mikey just didn't say anything. But the glove thing is weird in both versions, so...yeah.
I wish people on here would stop blaming others for Digimon losing popularity in the West because they “didn’t like anything past Season 3” or “didn’t support the company by buying merchandise.” Too many shallow-minded people just thought Digimon was a Pokemon ripoff and didn’t even pay attention to the series, reducing its growth in both popularity and profits. Many of us are fans of the series in general, so pointing the finger at us is rude and childish.
Digimon disappeared from the west because it lost popularity in Japan, too. Frontier, Xros Wars, and Xros Hunters got pretty bad ratings.
As “next generation”, I think Hunters are better than 02, because Hunter give a respect to their previous group. In 02, they were more like “oh, you saved both words like ten times, nice. But well, bye, we are going to take your place” and Hunters were fanboys/girls.
I don't consider the Hunters group a part of the Digimon series.
Leomon’s deaths aren’t funny anymore and the show should stop trying to milk it so hard and take a dump all over his character more than they already have.
I kinda can't take Leomon's death in Tamers seriously for this reason. If they'd pick a different Digimon for Beelzebumon to kill off, it'd have more meaning to me. Plus, this Leomon was such a boring character. He didn't really have any depth to him.
I hate it when people exclude Cody from the group and put hate on him. He’s also a Digidestined!

I HATE when people hate on Savers when they haven’t even watched the whole season- like if you’re gonna hate without watching the entire season, hate on Tamers cause that one sucks all the way through.
I was with you until you mentioned Tamers. Tamers can be slow, so was Savers at first. But they’re completely different shows. Tamers goes in depth into lives and psychology from having digimon. Savers is more traditional shonen anime stuff. Both are awesome in their own respects and make up my top 2 seasons of digimon.
Tamers is literally the best season of Digimon.

Let me give you another experience. I hate Tamers, and I know some other people who hate it, too.
I love Mervamon’s character so much but I despise her design. I loved seeing her epic moments and her interactions with Nene and Beelzebumon but every time they did that thing where they focused on her boobs, I just cringe.
You are not alone there. I have no problem with fanservice, as long as it is subtle, but Mervamon is just overblown and I have problems to like the character because of it. Her design is just way too much.
This is one of the few times I hope Saban works their censorship magic.

how do you think D.O would behave when it comes to sex ? how he'll dea with talking 'bout it and how he'll make clear he's ready, because he looks like a afraid butterfly to me.
I think because of how inward D.O. can be, he might be too nervous to initiate sex. D.O. is a discreet person, and I think it’s just his nature to let things develop naturally. So even if he were ready, he’d wait for his partner to bring it up. D.O. would wait until either she made the first move, or until he felt like they were both on the same page and their thoughts about it being the ‘right time’ were mutual.
I personally don’t agree with him being an afraid butterfly, though. Because I don’t think D.O. is afraid of sex per se. I think he’s just very cautious and careful, and wouldn’t want to make his partner feel rushed or make himself seem rude by bringing up sex.
This is an extremely awkward question, and I don't think there's any point in bringing it up. He's not a sex object.
I’ve never liked the phrase “Tamer”. I understand it working in context with Ryo all things considered, and that digimon are still monsters at their very absolute core, but it just sounds so awkwardly rude of a phrase when you try to hear it out of context. Maybe it’s just me, but the first thing that came to my mind when hearing it was some kind of circus ringmaster or something who controls the wild animals to a tamer state.
I hate it, too. It doesn't make sense. I know one person said it's because Digimon were wild in this season, but no, they weren't. SOME of them were. They were plenty of "domesticated" Digimon in the Digital World who didn't live to fight. Even Guilmon, Terriermon, and Renamon were relatively tame before they met the kids. It's just like how some Digimon in the earlier seasons were able to talk and lived peacefully, and some acted like animals and would attack on sight. It's always been inconsistent. If all the Digimon in "Tamers" had acted like wild animals, the idea of "Tamers" would have made sense.

Day 3: Favorite Main Female Hero?
Answer: Marta Lualdi (Symphonia 2)
I haven’t finished Symphonia 2, and it’s been a while since I played it. So I don’t remember her personality very well. (I know she didn’t get on my nerves.) I just really love her character design. I know that’s super shallow, but she’s adorable. I wanna cosplay her. =3
I also love her and Emil. Definitely one of my favorite Tales ships. =)

Day 2: Favorite Main Male Hero?
Answer: Yuri Lowell (Vesperia)
Um…duh. There’s a reason this guy topped the character popularity poll so many times, they had to retire him. He’s a boss.
What I like most about him is he actually has some flaws. He’s kinda full of himself. He mocks authority figures. He deals out vigilante justice. The other Tales lead males are so pure and selfless, it makes them boring and they all blend together. (I’m especially looking at you, Lloyd Irving.)
He’s also one of the oldest lead males. A lot of them are teens, but he’s 21 at the start of the game. I think for that reason, he felt more like the leader of the party than the others did. The others tend to get overshadowed by the older, “wiser” characters. He didn’t.
And also…Troy Baker played him so well. His voice is awesome. I love it.
P.S.: No, all my answers to these questions aren't gonna be about/from Vesperia. It's a great game, but I like the others, too.
30-Day "Tales of" Challenge: DAY 1
Day 1: Favorite Tales game?
Answer: Tales of Vesperia
My whole family loves the Tales series, so when we bought Vesperia, it was a big deal. We all gathered around the TV and watched my brother play it.
First thing I noticed: OMG, English song lyrics! Off to a great start already! Second thing: OMG, voiced skits! That made me super happy!
After that, it was kinda downhill for me, believe it or not. I loved that the game felt like you were playing an anime. But the characters’ outfits looked clown-y, I didn’t like the characters that much (not even Yuri, I think). I was kinda disappointed.
Then I played it myself and absolutely fell in love with it. Yuri is a boss. The other characters are pretty cool, too (except Judith — I hate her). They’re not my favorite cast, but I like how diverse they are and the way they interact with each other.
I also love how big Terca Lumireis feels. It’s like it goes on forever, so there’s plenty of exploring to do.
I’m really disappointed that they never brought the PS3 port over! It looked awesome! Then again, I think I would have hated Patty. I don’t consider her a part of the group right now.
Still, it’s an awesome game!
(Fun fact: when I saw the cover for Vesperia, I thought Flynn was the lead male, and Yuri was the lead female. Oops! =P)
