finnmichaels:
the water felt nice against his skin but without his board, finn wasn’t planning on staying in the water too long. maybe another day. fully soaked, he pulled himself from the tide and sauntered back up the beach. it really was useless trying to get the water from his hair. that would literally take days but he still tried, getting a few droplets on the brunette as he approached. “not bad. the tide is low. water is warm. you’re kind of missing out.” the sun against the wet skin of his chest felt nice. he thought about spending more time in the sun today but he had other things to do.
she hummed softly. “yeah, well.” lyla put her pencil down as she looked up at the guy. “you know i’m not really a water person, so.” the furthest she would go would dip her feet in, and even then she only did it every once in a while. “i’ll take your word for it.” she said, looking back down at the scribbled mess on the page on her lap.
