Today is a day to remember that we are surrounded by true heroes dressed up as ordinary people. I am so proud of our hero and his courage to join our armed forces after the tragic events of 9/11. Like so many others, the need to serve and protect, the desire to fulfill ones true patriotic duty, carries him through every day. I am so grateful for all the service men and woman and all of the first responders. Let us never forget 9/11 but most importantly, let us bring back the unity and the closeness we all felt so soon after those events. Someone was unamused by turning 11 months old yesterday! Someone's little 'tude' has become a bit too big for her britches too! It is Brynn's world and we are all just living in it, as Grampy would say. I suppose you get that from me. This month you celebrated your first Easter, you sprung a 7th tooth, you were Baptized, oh and should we talk about the incident report I had to sign at school yesterday? Yes you were bit after tormenting another baby. You pushed him to his breaking point and then CHOMP! None the less, we love you all the same! You are my best friend and shopping buddy! You are daddy's little girl and the bond you share melts my heart. You are one special little girl...and you know it! Today one silly little girl turns 10 months old! I can't even believe how fast these months are flying by. You continue to amaze us and everyone around you. You are so smart and a natural entertainer. The world is your stage little one, or as Grampy used to say to me "It's Brynn's world and we are all just living in it!" I swear you have music playing in your head at all times because you are always dancing! You are trying all sorts of new foods and there isn't much that you flat out refuse to eat. You are cruising around the house at the speed of light and standing up on your own without holding onto anything. I think you are ready to walk but you just prefer to crawl because it gets you there faster. Your daddy is still your favorite person, but you have started to say "Gay Gay" for your very nice teacher. Although Gay is her name it does make for some interesting head turns when you scream it in public! You say "Duck" very well (thank God it sounds like duck and not something else!). Most recently you started working towards "Gigi" though it comes out as "gee gee". This month we are looking forward to your baptism and starting to plan your big first birthday party! We love you so much you big girl! You make us so happy because you are always so happy! A day late but even with RSV, an ear infection, and conjunctivitis you are still the happiest 9 month old I've ever met! You continue to impress the world with your smiles, hair, and smarts! You are a dancing fool, and no matter what mood you are in, the moment you hear a good tune you start to boogie! You finally got those two front teeth making your tooth total 6! This month you experienced snow and built a snowman! You had your first Valentine's Day and loved your dancing dragon! You tried watermelon, cantaloupe, egg yolk and you're addicted to puffs! I think you will be walking in the next month with how strong you are now! I've kept you alive and happy for 39 weeks which is exactly how long I baked you in my belly!
