The best part about summer is getting to see my shirtless dad haul his big belly into the kitchen, just as I'm finishing making his typical breakfast. A few pancakes, bacon and eggs, and a tall glass of orange juice with more sugar in it than anyone should consume in a week.

It all helps keeping him fat, but seeing him shirtless makes me want to make him even more obese. So I'm slowly adding to his usual breakfast. One more pancake today. A couple more strips of bacon next time. Another fried egg. His growing belly keeps demanding more and more so he hardly notices it.
