Interrupted by God
Being born-again comes with responsibility. If you are serious about your new status, this is good news. You want to take part in working for God. Christian occupation comes in a wide variety of opportunities. God has chosen you before the foundation of the world to be His child. God gives each and everyone of you a talent, to use in this world, that serves His purpose. He uses people who reside in top positions around the world and ordinary people in positions with less coverage of the world around them, and everywhere in-between. God has amazing plans that coincide with your natural abilities. Some of these abilities can be seen in the Christian Music industry- where singers got their beginning, or crossed over at some point in their career. Other's like myself find their love in writing. God does not see a job title. He is not impressed by big positions nor non-impressed with a man who cleans the school gym floors after a great game. The point is people are in positions to reach people, that need to to be saved. Missionaries travel to remote parts of the world where people do not have access beyond their own limited borders. When you leave your house to run errands, God may put you in place where someone needs to hear a positive word, even a smile for someone who is having a terrible day. It may not be quoting scripture that changes someones mind to harm themseleves, but a caring act or kind words. You may find yourself speaking to the person in line with you. And you will hear them say. I am so glad we spoke today. This was one of my worst days. I was beginning to give up on people. You just proved that kind people still exist, and care about them. You can finish off by saying I knew God had a reason for me to come here today, to see you, as it appears. Brighten strangers days with a smile. Complement a woman wearing a baseball cap with your sports team's Logo. Anything you can do to show kindness to anyone is what God wants us to do. You do have your own set of Fruit of the Spirit; Love, Faithfulness, Joy, Peace, Goodness, Gentleness, Patience, Self-Control and Kindness. Use as often as possible. I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, Who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His coming and His Kingdom. II Timothy 4:1 For it is by free Grace [God's unmerited favor] that you are saved {delivered from judgement and made partakers of Christ's salvation} through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the law's demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.] Ephesians 2:9
