I feel??? like??? the feeling is kinda mutual???? or rather at least in that I feel like blaise is generally annoyed/frustrated w/ aldus and doesn’t really like him, BUT yeah blaise does buy into the FAMILY IS EVERYTHING thing-y and aldus is that, so at the end of the day, he’s there for aldus/got his best interests at heart, etc. etc.

but yeah while aldus on the dl likes blaise, I feel like blaise, on the dl doesn’t like aldus ~laughing/crying emojis~

I’m cryin bc there’s def a part of aldus that kinda thinks blaise isn’t awakening lyndhurst bc he isn’t trying hard enough and so he’s like DO IT DO IT DO IT all the time and also *rumplestiltskin voice* you failed you failed you failed whenever it ~doesn’t work smdh  Honestly Aldus is the ideal relative obv ;DDD  So why on earth he’d get annoyed w him is clearly a mystery ;DDDD  (not to mention, just him ~being Aldus~ yknow there are some instances in which ‘be yourself’ is really terrible advice and Aldus is the poster child of that ;DDD)  

Honestly, Blaise disliking Aldus is just more evidence of his sanity lbr ;DDDD  I’m just picturing them hanging out and Aldus is honestly just following Blaise around extolling his dramas of the day and poor Blaise honEStLY

I feel like Anya isn’t sure what to do with Aldus? She’s just ?? like ?? BUT Bea has lost her dad (and dad’s are important, to a degree, to Anya) so as long as he’s being kind to Bea and like doesn’t do anything weird, she’s okay with him - I guess? Like Anya doesn’t care much for the older generation of Storms, but about her generation and making sure they are good. SO as long as he doesn’t do any harm, she’s okay with him. Does that make sense?

Totally makes sense!!  And I will say, Aldus always, always ~means well by Bea...but he’s really screwed up, so - intentions aside - I feel like he does often do harm wo meaning to?  When that sort of thing happens, how do you think Anya’d react?  Would she call him out on it?  Gently try to steer him in a better direction?  Give him the stink eye?  Something else?  Hahah bc he doesn’t take criticism well honestly hahaha but he does react v positively to kindness, so depending on how she approaches it, he might either become all the more entrenched or ~try to improve (but then pretend he didn’t try smdh)

I agree! I feel like Giselle would be skeptical of him if she had any idea that he has a thing for Drea, since she’s with Lionel and the last thing Gigi wants around the family is any sort of scandal. Since she’d never met him before and never seen him out and about with the rest of his family… she’d probably be a little wary of him at first. (Gigi is very much in the camp of “ghosts aren’t real” so she’s in for a rude awakening at some point.)

I feel like they could have a stand-offish off to see who can give side eye to the other the longest… :D

That totally makes sense!!  Do you think they’ve met before now, or do you think this’d be their first meeting?  That is, do you think Giselle’s ever been to Lyndhurst, before?  (I know Cedes, for instance, has been, but obv they’re not a great terms and, even if they were, they’ve been in different countries, etc, for awhile now, so obv that has no bearing hahah)  Obv, if this is her first visit to Lyndhurst, they haven’t met before.  Either way, though, it makes sense for her to wary of him honestly hahaha  I mean, I think he does know how to be charming if he really wants to, but I don’t think he wants to most of the time hahaha and, regardless, he is certainly changeable, which probs sets ppl on edge too hahah  And yeah he’s an extrovert who comes off as unsociable since he doesn’t leave Lyndhurst so that’s also got layers of confusion there, I’m sure hhahaha  I really don’t think he often comes off in a v flattering light hahah  But he would try harder if he’s already had a thing for Drea by the time he meets Giselle, you know?

As for how obvious it is that Aldus has affections for Drea...I feel like that probs depends on the person?  Bc I do think Aldus is absolutely more solicitous and kinder towards her, but he absolutely has a temper and she’s not exempted from that.  I haven’t really talked to Lizzy about them, yet, so idk if Drea’s picked up on it or not, but if she has, she may or may not have mentioned it to her sisters, so there’s that possibility too?

WHO CAN SIDE EYE THE OTHER LONGEST!!!!  Hahahaha  No, but in that case, I feel like he ~def makes little snide comments and smdh he’s terrible.  And he’s v strange and mercurial, so sometimes he’s probs quite polite and ~trying and then other times just...no  Honestly I’m so sorry about him
