Finished cover art for the e-novel Orion’s Sword. The Talon and all related original concepts/terminology © Beth Kuda. Reference used for the nebula was a composite of several color-adjusted versions; this is NOT what the nebula looks like to the naked eye....but it’s a lot more colorful and pretty so nyah.
for anybody who’s been wondering what the hell happened to my personal art, this is what’s been eating my photoshop time: making (and refining) rainbow wrinkles in space. f___ing evil rainbow space clouds………

detail of the Talon from the cover art of Orion's Sword. so far, all i've done for the cover is the ship painting; i have not done a version of the nebula yet.
top inset: the port-side polarized viewport with surrounding hull paneling.
bottom left inset: aft kipple, to keep the design from looking too stark and taking away all sense of scale.
bottom right inset: the bridge decks, with visible interior detail and hexagonal reinforced polarized paneling (made from transparent aluminum? who knows...).

so i got SAI and decided to do a speedpaint re-draw of an old pic of Neji as a member of ANBU. one of these days, i'll come back and re-draw this one properly, with better anatomy etc.

A pair of Rule63 fan-characters from a Marvel/Neverwhere AU.
Illamar and Tamris, the twin daughters of Elphembre the Red, who is the son of Erik Ironbender (Elphembre has a younger twin sister named Petra).
They are rarely allowed out of the house, and only in their father’s company. As a result, Tam suffers from chronic depression and Illy accidentally created a boyfriend to keep her company.

Illamar is a fem!Billy from a Neverwhere/Marvel fusion AU. She’s Tamris’ twin sister (younger, according to their father). While her magical talents are broader in range and application than Tam’s, her enchantments don’t last nearly as long.

Tamris is a fem!Tommy from a Neverwhere/Marvel fusion AU. She’s the Marquess of Marylebone (yes, she knows that marquess is a masculine title), heir to the House of Magnus, and will someday inherit the entire London Below fiefdom of Baker Street. She’s an enchantress by trade.
