Lynnie’s partner, Nick

****Nick awoke with the light of dawn as usual since his flattening. Keeping track of time was impossible now, without his calendars and clocks, but he listened attentively despite the time as Lynnie snored beneath him. Since becoming her blanket, Nick has seen more of Lynnie than he ever dreamed he would. She painted. He had never known that about her until now. Warm rays began to reach the bed. Lynnie stirred. Her wild hair fell onto Nick’s head and tickled his nose. His heart raced with frustration as he wished she could scratch his nose for him. His arms and face were helpless immobile features. A shrill screech managed to escape Nick and wake Lynnie. She awoke in a panic. “What happened?!”****

Lynnie works in a pizza store. She loves stretching the pizzas out and topping them. The firm, squishy dough giving way beneath her fingers reminds her of clay. It gives her a mastery over the dough. She decides how large or thick it will be. Yet, even while she masters this dough, she feels a fondness for it as well. It is, after all, her creation. She values beauty. This dough is beautiful.

Lynnie is a character born from my pseudonym, Aqualyn Boulanger, who is in a fetish erotica. This particular one is challenging because I have never been one to talk or write about anything sexual at all. Yet here I am making a commissioned (possibly series of) erotica short fiction(s) involving flattening. This idea is brand new to me and has some odd restrictions specifically for the other character that I have been having trouble finding references for.

For example, the other character is to be oblivious to his flattened state until it is too late. He is to be both taunted and pitied. He can't be unflattened. He can't talk after being flattened. He isn't asked if he wants to be stepped on because Lynnie is supposed to do as she pleases. He is at her mercy. He likes tension and for Lynnie to walk on him leaving marks/stains.

Basically, my challenge is getting the right tone and engaging the right senses. Also, pacing the scene so it moves along just quickly enough to make the right emotional response. Honestly, I haven't been so challenged by a story in years. It's both invigorating and exhausting.
