BLACK PANTHER IS RETURNING TO THEATERS FOR FREE FOR BLACK HISTORY MONTH. GOD IS A BLACK WOMAN AND SHE IS BLESSING ME.

Okay so it’s only for a week (Feb. 1st to Feb. 7th, 2019) and at AMC theaters but you bet your ass I’m about to go watch it for the eighth time.

I would like us to remember that free opportunities to see movies of attend concerts/events, etc are for accessibility reasons. Just because we can afford a movie ticket doesn’t mean the next person or a family can. That’s why things like the #BlackPantherChallenge happen. And people saying “It’s on Netflix, just watch it there!!” not everyone has Netflix or the means to stream media?? These are small luxuries but they’re still luxuries. Let’s be cognizant of that.

Disney is rereleasing for free specifically for these reasons + also donating a bunch of money to further the education of Black creatives as well because #RepresentationMatters.
