giving this post a like means i have permission to dm you about exploring possible relationships!

friends/found family!

despite her initial callousness, it's actually quite hard for relic to dislike anyone. if someone were to spend enough time around her without actively antagonizing her, she would begin taking an interest in their activities/hobbies and making efforts to make that person happy. this will be a new experience for her, as nobody has actually stuck around that long before! at the moment, her healing magic is entirely locked. considering she's kinda based her entire identity on her ability to heal, this will cause her no small amount of distress. she could definitely use someone to help her regain her confidence, and anyone who helps her through this difficult time will definitely be a cherished friend.

"patients"

once she gets her healing back, this will likely be the majority of her relationships. anyone in this category can drop on by for a free healing (and a lecture if they're not careful). she won't care about your personal life outside of how it directly affects your health, and may be unintentionally rude. however, morality doesn't play a factor here - even villains can be patients. let grandma fix your boo-boos. if you ever want to have a dramatic fight and make sure someone can patch your character up afterward, relic can oblige!

fellow healers

ah, i see you're a man of culture as well anyone who has also dedicated their life to the art of healing will automatically have her respect and fascination! she would love to exchange tips and stories and express her feelings about the profession. her own knowledge mostly pertains to injuries and hypothermia, so she'd love to learn more from someone who specializes in other fields.

enemies

this one's kinda... odd. even for people she doesn't like, she has a universal policy of "do no (permanent) harm". you could actively try to kill her one day, she could beat you within an inch of your life, and then the next day she'll seek you out and dress your wounds (passive-aggressively, but thoroughly nonetheless). unless you are actively a world-ending threat that cannot possibly be reasoned with, there's... really not much you can do to aggro her. that said, if your character DOES meet that description (or wants to try antagonizing her), i'd love to see how she handles it!

Fireworks erupted overtop the city's centre where the giant hole usually could be found. Except now it was filled with a huge stadium! When had that happened!? As was often tradition in Spirale, plenty early risers would have their beauty sleep disturbed by the blaring of an announcement over the electronic devices in their possession.

"That's right, Jonathan! This is an exciting year for the Spirale Games! Well it's the first year, but that's what makes it so exciting!" Anything with a screen would have displayed video of Ofiuco's android body sitting at a sportscasting desk. But there was no one else present so who was she talking to? "We have a number of exciting events for teams to sign up for and we can't wait to see you out there!"

Of course the implication was that if they didn't see them out there then those who didn't participate wouldn't be reaping any of the rewards!

Welcome to our April / May event, the Spiral Games! As you can imagine we've taken inspiration from major sporting events, but this is closer to a celebration of many different skills and only some of the events are based on athleticism! You can find a full list of the events here so that this post isn't too cluttered!

So how is everything going to work?

Characters can participate in some events alone, but we encourage everyone to form teams of up to four characters! All of the team members don't need to participate in every thread if you don't want to but the option is there if you'd like! Teams will have no bearing on rewards (but it will make them easier) so there also isn't a limit of how many teams a character can be in to prevent a scenario where some characters are let out just because some people made teams early on.

If you would like to, you can give your team a name and even design a logo!

On the event list page you can see a list of events and the rewards you can earn from participating! Rewards can only be claimed by the team members who participate, so if you choose to do a one person drabble then only you get those rewards!

You can participate in as many events as you want, but the amount of Stars one character can earn from the event is capped at 500 Stars. This does not include the regular amount you get for event participation.

There will also be an unlock reward for this event, however there is a stipulation to this. In order to claim the unlock you must write at least 300 words with at least one character on your account that your muse has yet to interact with. So long as the thread is event related it will count, which is where teams could certainly help!

There's a disgusting familiarity to that machine in soul and body. An echo of someone Myra wanted nothing more than to rip to pieces over and over. It was a shame that her power had been so thoroughly sapped by the magic of this strange city; crushing the spirit of That Woman in her hands was something the lich had wanted for so, so long.

And yet in all that sustained eye contact... the Warforged did not react. ... Pity.

"No courtesy to cower, no courage to attack. What stays your hand, War Machine?"

But it does not look like Her, and it does not attack on sight. What is this thing?

What a peculiar appearance. It looks like this woman's limbs have been removed, but instead, she uses a set of bones to replace them. Creative! But she also appears to be suffering from something that's affecting her skin tone drastically.

Relic has been staring at her for quite some time now, trying to run possibilities through her head. Poisoning? Cold? She looks like she's in some discomfort, given the way she's been squinting back at Relic this whole time, but nobody else around seems bothered by the weather. She's contemplating the possibility of pneumonia when-
